I always want to talk about my OC's, but I never know where to start haha. And then even if I manage to come up with some starting sequence, the conversation turns awkward and dies off. So I just settle for making other people happy by listening to them talk about their own characters, because creating things and hearing other people talk about the non-harmful things they've created is enjoyable.
It's more of a "I was so used to being harassed and shamed for my interests when I was younger that I didn't think I'd actually get this far" kind of thing, but whenever somebody asks me something specific about a character, sure, I can answer that, but if you just give me a vague command like "tell me about them" I tend to freeze up and panic a little. Does anyone else do this, or nah?
EDIT: And if you want to mention shaming, talk about those cringe blogs! Like, I was 13. That was several years ago. Why are those same pieces of art still floating around? Sure, sometimes some of my more recent stuff gets added [because let's be honest, I am not one of those people who was born with a natural glft and was able to nurture it], but mostly it's just those same pictures.

I do the exact same thing as well, mainly because nobody lets me talk so I never know how to explain it in the first place

nobody lets me talk so I never know how to explain it in the first place Same though. Constantly getting spoken over or being treated as invisible gets old after a while.
