I'll probably just listen to it as an online audio book or see if I can find a copy of it online if necessary.

Both The Raven Boys and Six of Crows were excellent. The former seems from the blurb like an icky YA romance thinly-veiled by paranormal setting, but it's not. And the latter has wonderfully complex characters.

And the latter has wonderfully complex characters. That's actually why I put it off for so long since the blurb was so misleading, , but now that I know a little more about it, I want to give at least the first book a chance. As for SoC, I wasn't that big of a fan of the The Grisha Trilogy, but I hear the spin off is better, I actually am kind of excited to read SoC and CK, and I hope to enjoy it when I finally get to it.

I enjoyed it immensely and have read up to the third book. Don't get me wrong, Blue's prophecy plays a part in her lives and driving the story. But it's not the forefront of what the book is about. Just another factor.
SoC was way better than the trilogy, of that I can attest.

Gone girl, lion, renegades, a dogs purpose and a couple others! I notice you have a lot of historical fiction too! I've read a couple of them!

Yeah, I tend to have a love for historical fiction the most (although I do get pretty annoyed whenever a writer gets something wrong and then claims it as fact *coughDanBrowncough*).
