Random Cat Role Play

Bramblepath put his mouth to the air and tasted for scents. Snow poured from the sky and he blinked through it searching for prey. It had been a hard time for Sparklepelt and Bramblepath of late, prey had been scarce and their hopes of reaching their clan in three moons had been dashed. To make matters worse Sparklepelt had seemed off with him of late and he had begun to grow scared that perhaps she had grown tired of him. He shrugged the thoughts way as the scent of a nearby mouse reached him once more. He could hear it snuffling in the ground, he crouched down pinpointing the sound and leaped. Joy flooded through him as they felt it's skin under his claws- they would eat something tonight.

Bramblepath padded towards Sparklepelt mouse held in his jaws, his stomach flooded with joy as he saw her. His worries seemed to ebb away as she brushed her tail lightly over his ear. Unspoken agreement they headed back towards their shelter to eat the mouse.

Bramblepath curled up beside Sparklepelt, this mission they had been sent on had changed his perspective. Back home he knew there was a cat eagerly waiting for him, but he scent seemed old and distance had made him realise they weren't for each other. He knew Sparklepelt herself had many admirers and certainly he classed himself as one of them. If he could only get the courage up to talk to her, but glancing into her sparkling brown eyes he put his face between his paws too scared to ruin what they already had.

Bramblepath was being dragged face first accross the ground, he'd been attacked in his sleep and his vision was hazy. "Sparkle-" but his words only came in a strangled meow. The cat which had taken him was huge. A scarred face pointed lazily back at him his eyes glinting dangerously. "Sparkle-"
"It would be wise not to talk young one." And then the world faded to black again.

When Bramblepath awoke the huge cat stood over him his shadow taking away from the glare of some unseen light. Bramblepath tried to push himself to his paws but a firm look from the cat and the way his legs shook told him he should do otherwise. The room around him he soon realised was a massive cavern, the light reflected off the walls by a series of large glaciers. Bramblepath began to shiver in the cold but the cat in front of him just kept staring, his dark gaze making him bristle. "Who are you?" Bramblepath managed. The cat only laughed, stepped forwards and sent him into the abyss with one large paw.

sparklepelt awoke to the sound of rustling leaves. she suddenly felt on edge, certain that the shadowy cat that stalked them in her dreams had returned to take her too.
she crouched low and prepared to attack.
Then she saw silverpaw emerge from the trees.

"what are you doing here?" sparklepelt asked, "you startled me!"
Apprentices weren't meant to leave the camp without a warrior. Sparklepelt wondered how silverpaw had managed to journey so far from the forest.

"did you see where bramblepath went", mewed sparklepelt, "i'm so worried about him"

"he went missing not last night but the night before. i spent the whole day looking for him and i lost his scent trail" sparklepelt said sadly

Far away in the forest Bramblepath awoke to see the black cat standing over him, what he had first thought was a cave he now realised was the inside of a glacier. Water streamed down the sides and the black cat stood unshaking in it all. "You're going to die here." He said, "the dark forest wills it."

" Look again if we find him he could still be alive I went missing for three days as a kit" she mewed. " but we need to find him quickly"
