Clans of the Beyond (Open!)

Embershade crept out of her den, her fur exposed to the friendly touch of sunlight. She looked around the clearing seeing kits at play and the elders sharing stories with themselves. Her eyes glanced over to the apprentices watching them ever so happily trotting to their mentors ready for training. She was slightly jealous of her fellow den-mates for he didn't have an apprentice.

The sleek silver tom jaunted out of his den which led to the over-hanging ledge, Calling Peak. The silver leader stood on the edge and looked over his clearing. "Guiding Stars, thank you for another good dawn." Silverstar murmured under his breath. "Good morning Stoneclan!" He mewed loudly, but not so much that it would wake a cat in slumber. He leapt onto the Tree Step and down to the clearing floor. He posed with his chest-fur puffed out and his chest thrust forward in a spot of light before striding with a low waving of his tail.

Dusktail had just come out of the warriors den when he noted Silverstar emerging onto the Calling Peak. "Guiding Stars, no." He mewed under his breath. The brown and white tom made his way over to Honeysting and gave her a look that said 'What can we do, he's our leader.' His claws scratched the stone so he wouldn't say anything stupid as the silver tom made his way over.

Silverstar picked out Dusktail and Honeysting standing near eachother and made his way over with powerful, confident strides and a wide, toothy grin. "Dusktail, Honeysting! Join me in the dawn patrol." He invited. He had been wanting to get on a patrol with his clanmates and it seemed Honeysong at least was looking like she wanted to get out.

Pinerise stood with his rabbit in front of his tail and he held his tail up in a friendly greeting as he called over hopefully, "Embershade, would you like to eat with me?" He invited.

Dusktail sighed and nodded, "Sure, Silverstar." At least he wouldn't suffer alone, Honeysting was being dragged along too.

Silverstar lit up further and mewed, "Great, let's start from the Crossing Stones and make out way gown along the river and circle around." He decided, leading them out of camp with a stride. His muscles rippled under his pelt and he held himself with confidence.

Pinerise's mood brightened as she accepted his invitation.

Pinerise watched as Embershade picked out a small hare and settled down beside him. He decided he should say something more so he meowed, "It's a nice morning, Leaf-fall is getting along nicely." Then he took a bite of his own rabbit to keep him from saying anything else that may make him come off as a stupid kit.

Pinerise nodded. "Yeah, I don't think any clan is ready for another big battle after what happened. It's been twelve moons, but I now it affected the older warriors a lot." He agreed before taking another bite of his rabbit. He'd rather not talk about it since it was such a morbid topic and he didn't have all the facts, but there was no use in avoiding the topic either.

Pinerise was glad for a change in subject as he took another bite of his rabbit. After he swallowed, he replied with a short shrug, "I don't know. Maybe they went out earlier seeing as a number of warriors are already out training their apprentices." He suggested.
