᠃ ⚘᠂ ѕιℓνєя яσѕє᠂ ⚘ ᠃Here we go Heroic Mika Cyance Alias: "Guardian" - Outside of hero work, Mika is just known as a part-time volunteer at the city cat shelter. He stands about 5'8" with dark skin and shoulder-length black hair, usually pulled back or loosely braided. As for the heroic side of things, Mika wears black combat suit, lightly weighted to allow for easy movement and complete with a fully concealing helmet. He is able to generate a protective shield around himself, though a strong enough force can shake his focus and dispel it. Villainous Name Unknown Alias: "Feywild" - A female adversary, standing about 5'6", completely covered in green and white medieval-style clothing. Wears a green hooded cloak over a blank white full-face mask. Those observant enough might catch sight of stray white hairs that come loose from under her hood, but otherwise, there are no other clues to her identity. Known to be untrusting and paranoid of others, unfriendly and mostly uncooperative toward allies. Cunning, prideful, and greedy. Powers include weight/range-limited telekinesis and resistance to fall damage.

(Here are my characters.)
Hero Aurelie LeBeau Alias: Shade - Standing at 5'4", she has long dirty blonde hair to the middle of her back and fair skin. Aurelie has blue-gray eyes and freckles. When she's not a hero, she can be found at the local coffee shop or the bookstore. As a superheroine, she dresses in a black and silver suit with a jacket to cover her arms and boots, all of which are made so they don't inhibit movement while fighting. She has a mask that goes over her eyes and covers one half of her face, silver to match. She can slip into shadows, but only so long as they appear.
Villain Identity unknown Alias: "Daemon" - He is 6’0 and dons a dark combat suit of scarlet and black, mixed with dark padding and armor. He had a black hood that covers his head and a mask with lights that make his eyes seem red under the darkness of the hood. He is ruthless, destructive, but also manipulative and easy to anger. He has power over fire, but he cannot keep it burning for extended periods of time.
(Hope these are okay.)

(Sounds like fun~ Where do you want to start? We could start with hero work, or normal life soon interrupted by hero work? A small fight with one villain and two heroes might drive villains to team up after, though trick heroes with single fights until they're ready to fight together. Just a thought.)

(Great ^^ We could start in the middle of some action. I like the idea of the villains having to go up against the two of them and then making the decision to reluctantly team up and trick them. It's really good.)

(Okie all that's done and taken care of. I'll just throw down a small starter so there's room for you to adjust and such.)
Guardian sprinted up the stairwell after the villain as fast as his legs could carry him. He and Shade had rooted Feywild during one of her schemes, as per the usual rhythm of things, leaving them with the last stage of the conflict; the fight. If all went well enough, they stood a chance at catching the fiend and bringing her down.
This time it had been an residential domicile. A twelve-story apartment building overflowing with citizen homes. Whatever she'd been up to down here, they'd been lucky to stop it. He still wasn't sure what she would have done, but it couldn't have been good. There were probably a few hundred people living in this building, all of them potential targets for whatever she had planned, and a least now they could rest easy knowing these people would be safe. Still, she could try again elsewhere and if they didn't catch her then, who knew what could happen. They had to catch her this time. They might not be so lucky to stop her again.
He took a long stride, skipping a few steps as he tried to reach for the end of her cloak. He felt the fabric on his fingertips, but with a mighty leap, Feywild boosted herself away, planting one foot on the rail and jumping up to the next level with ease. As soon as she was over the upper rail, he heard her running again. Such a risky jump, he wouldn't dare try such a thing. They were at least ten stories up at this point, she would survive a fall like that but he might not. He could only hope Shade had found herself a shadow that ran all the way up the stairwell. Maybe she could cut Feywild off from the exit.

Shade had been chasing after them, moving as fast as she could. Occasionally she would appear to vanish, only to materialize out of the shadows as she moved to find the next one to jump in. She could spot just how close Guardian was to Feywild, and she pushed herself to find a shadow closer to them. She had to catch up so she could help.
Despite their attempts in that past, the villain just continued to escape before either of them could reach her. It was frustrating, especially when people’s lives were at risk because they couldn’t catch her before. The fight was the part that seemed to be the hardest, both sides trying to gain some advantage that could lead to capture or escape. So far it was undecided, and the people inside the building didn’t even fully understand just what was going on. As far as Shade could tell, they seemed oblivious to the chase that occurred in the stairwell. She just hoped that they wouldn’t be harmed or get involved in the confrontation between the heroes and Feywild.
Finally Shade found a shadow and came out above Feywild and Guardian, but below the next exit. She glanced over the rail to look at them before she turned and started racing up the stairs to reach it. Even at a sprint, she was having trouble getting up the steps without losing her footing and crashing into them. The exit was close enough that she managed to reach it, spinning on her heel to stand and wait for them to reach her. But she was starting to become drained after using her ability, and that wouldn’t do much to help.

(Sorry I got called out for more cleaning right after you posted)
As Feywild rounded the last landing and up the final flight of stairs, she spotted the other hero waiting for her at the door. The villain only took a second for a guess - both of them female and of similar build, they probably weighed the same. Both had powers that weren't strength-based, so they could probably produce the same amount of force. She looked like she might be near enough the door that if she slammed her, she could force the door and tackled her through. Steeling herself for the impact, she charged ahead, leaping into a headlong tackle. As soon as she collided with Shade, she pushed a hand past her to hit the push bar on the door to open it.
A flight and a half below, Guardian heard the impact, but the blood was rushing to his ears too loudly for him to tell if they toppled over or not. He continued running, trying to catch up and help Shade as soon as he could. He was sure she could handle herself in a one on one fight, but being the worrywart he was, he always feared the worst could happen. One wrong punch, a poorly placed step, an untrustworthy foothold. He'd heard of too many heroes who had fallen to weaker villains only because of poor luck.

(Wow. I went out to eat right as you responded.)
Shade braced herself when she saw a flash of green and white, but she wasn't ready for the villainess to throw herself at the superhero. She felt her balance fail and she hit the door, wincing as her head began to hurt. It was a smart move to slam into her and reach for the door, but Shade was quick too. She slapped her hand on the wall and melted into the shadows, effectively removing herself from between Feywild and the door.
Hurry up, Guardian. She bit her lip as she leapt from the shadow, now behind the villain as she lunged for her. If she could distract her long enough for the other super to arrive, they had a decent chance of catching the woman, whoever she may be. But that meant keeping the villain from doing something like throwing herself off the building, and Shade tried harder to slow Feywild down. Her head pounded as she moved, but she couldn't let it keep her from doing her duty.

(Hahaha we have the worst timing)
Feywild was a bit surprised to find Shade disappeared under her hands. She'd been hoping to stun the hero a bit for an easier get away, but it sort of flipped on her. With Shade rushing her from behind, she didn't have much of a defense ready for her prepared. She tried to turn, ending up with Shade smacking into her side. She tried to be ready to strike at the woman to fend her off, but she wasn't quite ready how she'd attack like this.
Guardian came up the last flight of stairs to see the door swinging shut. The two must be on the other side. He activated his shield, coating himself in a soft blue light in that coated his entire body. He moved forward again, his movement ever so slightly inhibited by maintaining his shield. Either way, it was the best strategy with someone like Feywild.

(It's quite a coincidence lol.)
Shade was very lucky that she burst out of the right shadow, or she would've gone falling down the stairs and straight into the other hero. She grabbed onto the cloak, refusing to turn her head as the door shut behind them. Alright, let's see what you've got. She was fast, so she quickly regained her balance and tried to hold on to the villain. Until that door opened again, she had to be smart about what she did and how she did it. She was aware of a few of Feywild's abilities, and she would just have to use her shadows the best she could.
It wasn't easy to grip the cloak, and she felt it start to slip. So she did something a bit reckless and moved to attack, hoping to see a move before it made contact so she could avoid being hurt. The last thing either hero needed was to make one small mistake that would cost them. But she didn't see very many options on the roof of a building, and she would have to be the distraction for a while. it wasn't the first time, but Shade was hoping to walk away with fewer injuries than last time.

Feywild stopped in place, balanced on the balls of her feet as she braced to move when she felt her cloak tugged. She could just abandon it and replace it with a new one. With a sleeker, harder to grasp material. Well, that was going to happen anyway after this. But she still didn't like having her head exposed. Her hair was pretty conspicuous... Well, so was the rest of her. That was what the mask was for. She started to reach a hand forward to just rip the cloak at the halfway point and free herself, but the hero charged her again, and the door swung open as the other one finally arrived. She didn't exactly have a lot of options for projectiles up here. She'd have to make this quick and then take her leave once she could get a clear shot out of here.
Guardian only took a second to take in the scene on the roof. Shade was making her move against Feywild. He needed to back her up. He didn't bother to slow down from his sprint, going after the villain as well. He caught up to the other hero easily, rushing the villain at her side.

Shade ran at her, fighting the pain she felt from hitting her head so hard on the door. She was glad her mask remained in place, as it was nearly knocked off when she got slammed by Feywild. But the hero grinned when she heard the door open, although the mask only showed half of the expression. If they could catch her off guard or pull this off, then perhaps they could finally capture her and have one less villain on the streets. She got close before pushing herself forward, reaching out at the villain before she could start using her powers.

(it's fine)
A grin was never a good sign. Shade was up to something. Feywild fell back quickly to avoid Shade's first strike, retaliating with a swing of her own, her palm wide open so the metal claws on her gloves might land a hit on the woman in front of her. In hardly a second's passing, the other hero was here, telltale blue light emitting from him. Her strike landed on his extended arm as he reached for her, bouncing off harmlessly. Just her luck when she finally made her attack, the defensive one popped up. She took another stride backward, only avoiding his attack, but too little too late to avoid Shade.

(I keep wanting to type Shadow instead of Shade.)
Shade had spun around and kicked out, hoping to hook her foot on Feywild's leg and throw off her balance. She had been extra grateful that Guardian showed up at the right moment to take that hit. His shield ability was useful in quite a few sticky situations, and she was going to have to thank him for saving her from some nasty scratches. But that could wait until the villain was behind bars, or in whatever cell they made to contain her. After that, she moved quickly to give the other hero a little room while still trying to disable Feywild so she couldn't attack. There weren't very many shadows on the roof, and she hoped she wouldn't need to use any. It had almost completely drained her.

(Sorry, my weekends are packed with work ;-; I'm free on the weekdays this week, and next week I start subbing) (X3 If you need to change it, i'm sure plenty of heroes do)
Feywild felt the impact of Shade's foot as it collided with the side of her leg and she stumbled briefly as she tired to shift her weight to the other foot. She wasn't quick enough in the transition, and as she stared to unbalance, Guardian caught the neck of her cloak. Her response was to plant a kick in his chest, though once again his shield absorbed the blow. She tried to push again as something glass came loose from her belt. Guardian didn't see it, he only heard the sound of glass breaking on the ground and the villain let out an angry shriek.
"Do you have any idea what that cost me? Any clue what it'll take to replace that? You'll regret this, both of you!" She snapped, and the glass shards began to rise to the air around them. She might not be able to hurt Guardian while his shield was up, but it couldn't stay indefinitely, and she could keep the storm of glass to keep Shade away long enough to free herself. The shield might let him ignore her attacks, but it didn't make him stronger. He'd tire eventually.

(That's alright. Starting next week I have classes so I'll be on less often. No, I think I can keep from typing it lol.)
Shade got ready to move and help restrain her before she heard the glass shatter, watching the object break into countless shards on the roof. Oh, this is bad. She rushed back, knowing that glass would definitely cause some irritation and harm if the villain turned and decided to send those shards of glass at her. She didn't have any protection like Guardian, and slipping into the shadows seemed cowardly. The hero glanced around the roof, seeing only two shadows that stretched across from the even taller buildings around them.
"Maybe you should've thought about that before bringing glass to a fight." Lame, but it was more of a distraction before she sprinted past and threw herself into one of the shadows, vanishing. She could see them, but she was invisible from her spot as she moved through the darkness. She and Guardian needed to figure out some way to catch her, and it was hard to do when Feywild was capable of using her abilities. For now, they had to avoid any attack and he needed to concentrate on that shield.

(Just got back on my computer. We had to clean the kitchen X3 And no worries, I'm probably gonna be busy on the weekdays soon enough)
Feywild swung forward, pushing her palm into the shield over Guardian's visor. Of course it didn't do anything, but she still covered his vision. The shards drifted closer, bouncing off of his shield and inches from her own skin, shredding the cloth he'd gripped. As the neck of the cloak came undone, she dropped out of it. She'd just have to find a replacement for it at this point. Something harder for them to grab, since they seemed so fond of that. It seemed like the shadow girl had taken cover. If she kept the glass storm close and Guardian away, she might be able to escape off the side of the building.

(Been really busy getting ready for classes. Finally had a chance to get online.)
Shade gathered her strength, needing it for one last effort to catch Feywild. Her fellow hero was taking the heat at the moment, and she slinked through the shadows until she found a spot behind the villain that could work for an attack. The glass would be an issue, but her suit could handle a little before being damaged, and she had the mask over most of her face to prevent some degree of injury. So she rushed out of the shadows and materialized once again, throwing herself forward to hopefully knock Feywild away and distract her from using her power.

(Okay, I think things are settled enough. Turns out the storm damaged my work too badly so I'm out of a job, but at least I don't work here anymore. It was awful anyway.)
Feywild felt Shade collide with her once again, this time from the back. She didn't like being sandwiched between the two heroes, so she had to make her decision what to do quick. She took the momentum that Shade offered and moved forward at Guardian, the storm of glass still swirling around her. She saw Guardian move too, forward to counter an attack. He though she was attacking? Good. The villain took a jump, planting a boot on Guardian's shield and kicking off. The boost sent her into the air and over both heroes heads'. She grinned behind her mask as she landed on the ledge of the building. She turned the glass cloud on them to keep at least one of them from following, leaning back and going over the edge. As gravity pulled her too far from the roof, the glass stopped spinning about and dropped to the ground.
Guardian moved forward as his shield dissipated, looking over the side to try to see where Feywild might try to flee to. He wasn't sure how to get to the ground as quickly as her without separating from Shade... Well, even if they didn't catch her, whatever she'd dropped might hold some hints for them. "We can try to pull substance information off of the glass. Maybe we'll get a better clue as to what she was trying to do. It could let us predict where she might strike next." He suggested.
