CloudClan
Intro: Your paws brush the ground as you approach a sitting rabbit. Suddenly, a careless misstep causes you to snap a twig. The rabbit runs off, and you chase after it. After some while of chasing, you realize a large, black, furry tom watching you with fierce amber eyes from a short distance. "Who are you?" You ask him, your fur beginning to bristle. Then you notice that he doesn't have a tail. "You might want to be careful or you might lose your tail, as well," the tom says. Apparently, he realized you staring at his stump of a tail. "I was doing the same thing when my tail got caught in a Twoleg trap." You nod, and he continues, "I'm Shadowstar, leader of CloudClan." He explains. "Follow me." Shadowstar instructs with a flick of his tail. You hesitate. What could he possibly be doing? Where could he be taking you? But this 'Shadowstar' seems like a fairly nice cat, so you decide to follow him. His pace is fast; pouncing over rocks and swerving past trees. You find yourself to be a little tired by the time that he finally stops. You see many, many cats, chatting, eating, and just walking around. "This is CloudClan, the Clan of peace of intelligence." Shadowstar turns his head to face you. His fierce amber eyes softened into a welcoming expression. As your eyes leave Shadowstar's face and over to the rest of the cats, you find that they're all smiling at you. "We welcome you into CloudClan."
Rules: Forum Rules - Please follow all Forum Rules. You can read the Forum Rules here Literacy - I'm not asking that you write a novel, but I do expect correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling. What I mean by that is dnt tlk lyk dis. It's annoying and hard to understand. If you want to use "&" instead of "and" that's completely okay. When you're not roleplaying, you can use text talk as much as your little heart desires. Activity - Please don't join then never come back, you'll be wasting your time and mine. I understand if you're busy and can't come on everyday. I do ask that you try to come on once a week to roleplay. If you don't roleplay for 3 weeks, without prior notice, I'm afraid I will have to delete you. But you can always rejoin. Respect - My most important rule. Be nice. I hate bullies with a passion. If you are mean to someone you get a strike, 3 strikes and you're out and cannot rejoin. End of story. Kit-Killing/Stealing - Kit-killing is not allowed by any outside users. It is allowed within the clan only if it is part of a plot that I, and the user roleplaying the kit, allows it. Kit-stealing is not allowed under any circumstances and will be reported. Roleplay - When you're not roleplaying, use (), [], {}, OOC, or something to help others identify whether or not you're roleplaying. Like I said before, text talk is not aloud during roleplay, but is aloud when you're not roleplaying. Also, keep all roleplay PG. I, myself, do not like this rule, but we have to follow it. Spam - Do not spam or advertise. "_______ come to _______" every once in a while is okay, but don't make a habit of it. Characters & Realism - No Mary-Sues or Gary-Stues. This is a realistic roleplay, so I want all characters to be realistic. So no perfect characters, please. No cats with powers, wings, or pink fur. Also, try to make the warrior names realistic as well. For example, please don't use the names Dragonclaw or Magicpelt. There is no character limit. You may make as many as you can handle. But if you make 3 or more characters, I ask that you don't make them all the same gender. I'm not going to ask you to make a tom for every she-cat, but I want the gender ratio to be somewhat even. I'm not expecting it to be exactly even but I don't want it to be 1 tom for every 6 she-cats. Have Fun! - My second most important rule. I made this roleplay for the enjoyment of myself & others. If you have an idea for a plot to make this roleplay more enjoyable, please tell me. There are no bad plots. I will do my best to try to use that plot. Sorry if these rules seemed harsh.

CloudClan
History: The first leader, and the founder of CloudClan was Cloudstar. Cloudstar was a long-haired, light-golden tom with stunning amber eyes. Originally, he was a kittypet named Cloud, coming from a friendly household. But one day his Twolegs had disappeared, and Cloud was forced to live on his own. With no more housefolk to feed him, he taught himself how to hunt for food. He picked up strategies of survival in the wild quickly. This newfound freedom, away from the boundaries that Twolegs had always placed on him, was like a wild paradise. But the excitement didn't last very long. Like it always had, leaf-bare rolled along. Temperatures dropped and snow fell. Prey was scarce, and it was freezing. There was no place to keep warm. For all of Cloud's life, he had stayed inside the warm confines of his Twoleg den, until now. He struggled to find food and shelter. One day, he came across a group of loners and rogues sleeping in a cave in what seemed like an abandoned camp. As Cloud got to know them, he learned that one of them was a former medicine cat. However, he was sent into exile because he had become a father. But even though his Clan had given up on him, his ancestors had not. Starclan had sent him a message that, a "cloud will pass by for the new sun to rise." This medicine cat taught Cloud the ways of a Clan cat. Cloud, from then on, was known as Cloudstar, and thus...CloudClan..
About: Welcome to CloudClan. The Clan of Peace and Intelligence. Some cats call us weak because we would rather discuss than fight. We don't like to fight for no reason, but if our Clan is in danger, we fight like all of TigerClan, so don't underestimate us. CloudClan cats normally have silver or grey fur and blue or green eyes. It is common to find a black or white cat, but is very rare to find an orange or brown cat. Most likely, if you find a brown or orange cat, they are most likely not Clan-born.

CloudClan
Territory: The Meadow - The Meadow is very colorful with flowers and has a nice fragrance. Although it seems like a place in which prey might roam around, it's not a place that should be used for hunting grounds. The Meadow provides many herbs for the Medicine Cat to use, except for catmint, which is only found in Twoleg gardens. Butterflies like to play in this area, so kits are sometimes brought here to play and chase after them. The Mountains - The Mountains represent the border of Cloudclan. Do not go past them. Many cats have died falling from cliffs and being eaten by eagles. Some cats have even gone missing while wandering this area. The Moor - The Moor is used as a small training area. It's a medium-sized clearing with some big and small rocks scattered around and tall grasses, perfect for teaching hunting skills and fighting. There are no trees around this area. Many mentors and apprentices can use this at once, despite it's smallness. The Moontree - The Moontree is where cats go to communicate with StarClan. Medicine cats come here to share tongues with them as well. Leaders come here to receive their nine lives. It's located in the center of a clearing that's on the edge of Cloudclan borders, where the moonlight shines straight onto the tree. Once it becomes moon-high, the light will reflect off of the leaves, and the Moontree will look as if it is glowing with silver light. Twolegplace - The Twolegplace is right at the edge of Cloudclan territory, the place itself being forbidden for all Clan cats except for medicine cats. Medicine cats come only for collecting catmint from the Twoleg gardens.
Camp: The Lookout Tree - The Lookout Tree is right above the camp. It gives a good view of the entire camp, perfect for guarding it. New warriors also stay here all night for their vigils. Leader's Den - The Leader's den is in a small cave bellow the Highstone. Since Cloudstar was such a big cat, it's big enough to hold three warriors. The ground is carpeted with moss. Another large piece of moss in the back of the den is where the leader sleeps. Medicine Cat's Den - The Medicine Cat's den is a cave right next to the camp entrance. It is lined with moss and has a small drinking pool in the back. The dens are lined with feathers and shells, meant for maximum comfort for the medicine cat's patients. There are little cracks in the cave where the herbs are stored. Warriors' Den - A very large bush where the warriors sleep. There are pieces of moss everywhere inside the den, each one of which a warrior sleeps on. The branches of the bush are thin and spread out, so cats can fit through easily. The leaves are also good for protecting against stormy weather. Apprentices' Den - A slightly smaller bush where the apprentices sleep. There are pieces of mods everywhere in the bush where the apprentices sleep on. The branches are spread out, but thin, allowing small cats to fit through and sleep. Leaves provide protection from wind and rain if it is a stormy night. Nursery - The Nursery is a fallen tree decorated by feathers and shells. The kits and queens stay inside the now-hollow log, which is lined with soft moss and sometimes if new kits have been born, soft feathers to ensure comfort. Usually the moss is a little bit messy due to playing kits. It is located next to the medicine cat's den. Elder's Den - The Elders' den is way in the back of the camp. It is a beautiful tree surrounded by a shallow stream. During the night, the elders sleep under the tree, in its roots, and on sunny days they have beds of moss outside the tree for them to lie on. The branches and spread-out leaves provide good shelter in stormy nights. The inside is lined with moss and is decorated with shells and feathers. Highstone - The Highstone is where the Leader makes important announcements and holds Clan meetings. It is right above the Leader's den. Fresh-Kill Pile - The Fresh-kill pile is in the center of camp. This spot is always kept muddy and cool, so the prey won't rot or go bad. During leaf-bare, it will be moved around depending on where the sun hits, to make sure it doesn't freeze; otherwise it isn't able to be eaten.

Characters
Stealthcreek Stealthcreek is a small, sleek blue-grey she-cat. She has stunning blue eyes and a very sweet personality. The she-cat absolutely adores helping and working with kits and young cats. More often than not she is very outgoing and friendly towards most other cats. At first she may be overlooked, but other cats quickly realize their mistake when it comes to a fight. While most of the time Stealthcreek tries to be more polite and kind, she can also be rather clingy. She acts of love to protect those she cares about. She will do what she can no matter the odds, no matter what challenge is thrown at her. She tends to get jealous of others and it can be her downfall. If someone threatens her or anyone she loves... well, things get ugly. You don't want to be the cat that gets in her way, that's for sure. Stealthcreek is very loyal to her Clan and will even risk her life to save it. The she-cat wants nothing more than to do her best.
Scarlette Hunter Standing at only 4'11", fair-skinned Scarlette Hunter could be overlooked easily, if only for her rather small stature. Scarlette has wavy blonde hair down to mid-back and has dyed the tips a pretty teal color. This teal color accents her eyes, which are a beautiful blue color. Weighing in at about 110 pounds to go along with her height, she doesn't appear to pose much of a threat. Scarlette has a belly ring as well as size 8 gauges in her ears. When it is cold outside, she wears sweaters and skinny jeans. and when it's warm, shorts and tank tops. She always wears Western boots. Scarlette tends to be quite outgoing and friendly, making it easy for her to draw people to her. She is quite intelligent and has a strong love of animals. When it comes to her friends, there is an endless supply of loyalty. She would never betray any of her friends. Her endless display of happiness, however, covers a much darker side. She tends to grow jealous of others and has suffered from depression for a long time. She might appear confident, but inwardly, her self-confidence isn't the best. She once believed herself to be fat and was anorexic as a result, but after a long struggle, overcame. However, she still struggles with the depression and has had a tendency now and then to self-harm. She's a true equestrian, and you can always find her at a horse stable.
Shadowstar Large fluffy black tom with amber eyes. Very sweet and accepting of new members. He was born a kittypet but wasn't fond of the sheltered life and wanted to be part of the clans his mother told him stories about when he was a kit.
Dixie Dixie is jet black with a trimmed, shiny coat and a side-swept black mane. She has four white socks and a straight white blaze along her nose. She has the typical dished Arabian face and powerful hind quarters. She has large, dark brown eyes. Dixie is a relatively well trained horse. She is very determined and playful and once she gets going, it is very difficult for her to stop. She can be lazy and even ornery at times, however for the most part she is very obedient.

Kits
Firekit Originally Smokekit, Firekit has a ash-gray pelt with dark ginger spots on her back and tail. The right side of her face is burned and furless from a fire she started when she was a kit. The fire scarred her brutally and killed both her parents and her sister. She stays away from cats because she doesn't want to kill anyone else.
Bluekit Small misty blue tom with green eyes. A game of chase with his brother, Lynxkit, got Lynxkit killed by a fox. He ran way because of that
Bubblekit Light grey she-cat with silver eyes. She was almost drowned by Twoleg kits in a bucket of soapy water. The soap infected her eyes, causing her to go blind
Eaglekit Brown tom with green eyes. He was carried off by an eagle and was dropped, causing his legs to break. His legs are now deformed

????
You are walking along the road when you come to a large yellow house with white windows. The door is wooden, and painted green. The house stands out a lot, especially because, instead of humans, cats live inside the house. This interesting house catches your attention and curiosity, that you can't help but walk up to the front door. As you ring the doorbell, a dark brown pit-bull growls at you. You read the collar. The pit-bull's name is Raisin. The door opens, and a she-cat greets you with a friendly "hello" and introduces herself. "My name is Stealthcreek," She begins. "Welcome to our house. Come in, come in." She says, while gesturing inside.
The House Living Room - This is a very relaxed room. It's painted a soft green with wooden floorboards, and there are six small lights on the ceiling. There is a sofa lining up against the smaller wall, and a wooden table in front of it to hold TV remotes, drinks, snacks, etc. A TV is located in front of the table. A pile of DVDs are inside the drawer on the stand the TV is put on. A portrait of Firestar and the Three is hung up in the corner. Cats normally like to watch movies, play games, and hold parties in this room. Kitchen - A smaller room than the Living Room. It's painted bright orange with a tan tiled floor. A counter in located in the back along with the sink and dishwasher. The microwave is on the counter in the corner, and next to it is the stove. Underneath the stove is the oven, and the refrigerator is on the other side of the sink. A large glass table is put in the middle of the room. An elegant looking vase is in the center of the table for decoration. The chairs next to the table are pretty as well: each chair leg divides into four "swirls" and supports each chair. A beautiful butterfly decoration is carved on the back of the chair. This room is used for everyday meals. Bathroom - A room painted robin-egg-blue and different sized and tinted blue tiles on the floor. The toilet is all the way inside, next to the white marble sink. Underneath the sink is the cabinet for extra liquid soap, wipes, toilet paper rolls, and other toiletries. The shower is across from the sink, and is dark blue. The shower curtain is covered in cute pictures of mice. Office - A large room painted a boring beige color and a black carpet. An air freshener is on the windowsill next to the metal desk. The chair is black and is one of those spinny-chairs that young kits like to play with. In the middle of the room, there are two small purple couches for customers. Also for kits to play on. There are usually many papers stacked on the desk, but otherwise, the room is very organized. Master Bedroom - A very big room painted lavender and has a soft, dark purple carpet with a fancy chandelier in the center of the ceiling. A king-sized bed is in the middle of the longer wall. The bed has a white mattress and magenta quilted blanket. During Greenleaf, when it gets very hot, the quilted blanket is replaced with a light pink towel-like sheet. A metal black nightstand is on both sides of the bed. On the right nightstand, there is a small white vase with a single fresh rose. Opposite the bed, is the closet for clothes. The closet door is painted bright red with a green doorknob. Guest Bedroom - A smaller bedroom than the Master Bedroom. It is painted lavender like the other one, but has a light pink carpet rather than a magenta one. It has two twin beds with white mattresses and a red blanket. In Greenleaf, when it gets hot, the blanket is replaced with a light blue and pink speckled towel. It has a mirror on the inside of the closet door. The door is painted bright red, like the Master Bedroom's closet. There is one black nightstand for each twin bed. There is a nightlight next to the entrance door. Yard - A very big field with newly cut grass and flowers planted near the house. There is a small vegetable garden in the far corner of it. A clothesline extends from the house to a nearby maple tree. Somewhere in the center of the Yard, there's a birdbath with floral designs inside the bowl. Behind the yard is a large in-ground pool. To the left of the yard is a stable where horses live. Stall One: Dixie Stall Two: Empty Stall Three: Empty Stall Four: Empty
Residents Stealthcreek - Stealthcreek is a small fluffy blue-grey she-cat with stunning blue eyes. Hollow Hill Horse Farm Save
intro: Hollow Hill Horse Farm The sign says. You sigh, ‘I hope this is the right place’. Horses dotted the fields surrounding the drive. You stopped the truck and leaned out of the window to get a good look at all of them. There were Paints, Appaloosa, Quarter Horses, some ponies, and many other horses. One dark bay gelding lifted his head and looked right at you, letting a soft nicker. He swished his dark brown tail and picked up his hoofs, whisking away farther into the pasture. His quick movements spooked some of the horses.
You let out a laugh to yourself and started the truck back up, continuing driving the lane. ‘I hope the girl is here’, you thought, remembering the phone conversation you had last night with Britt. You pull truck up in front of the house and killed the engine before climbing out. You gazed around the ranch and smiled once again as you caught sights of the barn and the riding corrals. 'This place looks great', you couldn't help but think, excitedly. You dusted your hands off on your jeans and headed up for the house. You knocked on the door and waited for someone to open up.

about: The winding road of black asphalt weaves between the many fields and meadows, enclosed by neat wire fencing. Wildflower patches of larkspur and bluebonnets dot the landscape, and the hot noon-time sun was high in the sky. In the distance, two mares graze under the shade of a lone oak. You pull your car into a small parking lot of crushed granite that sits before the stables. The three-story tall barn is long and wide, the soft white paint with green trimming cracking with age. It was old, but in good condition. Two main doors on either end had been slid open to allow the cool breeze through, carrying the scent of horses and fresh hay. The slam of the car door echoes as you take a deep breath, taking in the scenery. In the close corral, a group lesson was ensuing. A woman who had been leaning against the rails watching the lesson had started to approach you, her heavy boots crunching on the gravel. "Hi there!" she greeted cheerfully, extending a hand to shake, "Welcome to Hollow Hill Horse Farm! My name's Britt. You must be the new rider. Would you like a quick tour of the place?" You agree, and she smiles. “Great. Let’s start with the barn.”
Inside, the temperature drops ten degrees from the shade and misting fans. The stables are large, half of them currently occupied. The rest were empty- some of the horses must be out for riding. She shows you the office, a small, two-story room with two desks, computers, and file boxes. She does not show you upstairs. Next are the tact rooms- these were simply old stalls converted to hold the saddles, bridles, and other equipment. She explains that there are several of these spread out among the stable.
“I’ll just show you the arenas real quick before we head to town.” Britt says, leading you outside through the opposite doors. The fields stretch for acres, as far as the eye could see. Directly behind the barn, several arenas and pens were clumped together. Some were square, others octagon, circular- all different shapes and sizes! To your far left was the corral you saw when you first came in- the riders were gone now, probably off on one of the many trails. “Come on, let’s take a quick trip to town. I need to pick up a few things anyways. It’s quaint, but comfortably large and only a few minutes away.”
……………………………………
The town is small, but although it has that country vibe, it still has all the amenities of anywhere else. First you stop at The Equestrian Shop to pick up some leather polish, then Britt offers to give you a small tour of the best place in town. “We have all kinds of stores and chains- Sports Authority, Starbucks, the country club –we hold celebrations there sometimes- but the one thing that makes this place great is the original general store.” As you step inside, your eyes widen in wonder. At random intervals on the floor, gaps are covered by old licenses plates. All kinds of knick-knacks stand in the back, and jars of pickles, honey, and jam are opened for free sampling with crackers. To your right, an old-fashioned ice-cream bar is open, serving classic flavors. The checkered table clothes, old lunch boxes- it’s like stepping back in time!
After about twenty minutes of exploring, you step out with a cone of vanilla, enjoying it while Britt describes the town in more detail as you head back to the car. “There’s also the golf course, that’s connected to the club. And Debutant Botique and Men’s Warehouse. Gander Mountain’s good for hunting equipment.”
When you get back to the ranch, you thank her for the tour. She just smiles. “No problem! We’re glad to have you!”
