It was no easy feat to hold Ray back. For such a slow, tired looking dude, he was stronger than he looked. Any normal man might find himself dragged along right behind him.
Ray noticed that somehow, his stride slowed even further. It was almost as if something was holding him back. Ray stopped, the glaze lifting from his eyes as he turned to look behind him. Just great. Now he had to deal with this punk. "Can't a guy walk down the street in peace anymore..?" he sighed, frowning at the the man in front of him. "Look, I'm sure you have places you'd rather be. I have places I'd rather be, so lets just chill and move on, okay?" he reasoned in a rather bland, tired voice.

(No worries, Lioncl. XD That's so exciting! Puppies! And friend time is very important as well. :3) (I've been trying to get myself invested in other projects, so we'll see where that goes.)
While Alex finished up on the computer, Pip had settled herself on the couch. She cringed when Masaki mentioned her boss. "Oh, him..." Pip wrinkled her nose and looked away. When Masaki commented on her age, a bit of a smile returned to her face. "Aw, come on. It's only a few ye'ahs difference. I can be whatevah age I wanna be." When Masaki turned his attention to Alex, Pip almost pouted a little. Masaki's words triggered an idea in her head. "You know... Masaki- since I don't work fo' boss anymo'ah and you'ah my bodyguard of sorts, whe'ah am I gonna live?"

Naga found himself surprised as he could hardly even slow the man down. Naga wasn't the strongest guy around but he was certainly above average in terms of strength. Scowling at the man's words he said "No, you don't get to talk down at me like this pal. You're the one who bumped into me alright? You don't get to have this whole attitude you've got going on. So how about you fix your attitude or I'll do it for you." Naga was increasingly annoyed with the man.

Ray drew a hand over his face and through his greasy slicked back hair. This was exactly what he didn't want. Fiery punks like this getting in his way of a perfect day. "Wow. And this guy thinks I'm the one with the attitude..." he muttered to himself. Either he didn't realize that the dude in front of him could probably hear him, or he didn't care. "Fine, I'm sorry. There you go. I apologized. That's what you wanted, right? Now let's all just go home. I don't have time for this right now." Ray turned to leave, exposing his back once more to the black-nailed man.

(I honestly don't know where to go with this so I'm just going to have Naga disengage. He's not afraid to get into confrontations but he's not about to start a fight right when he got back and draw attention to himself)
Naga was stewing with anger when he heard what the man had said under his breath. As the man turned to walk away he had to resist the urge to get a cheap shot in. A few years ago he wouldn't have had any issue starting a fight here and now but he had matured to the point that he knew starting a fight here would cause more problems than necessary. As the man walked away he called out to him "You're lucky you ran into me out here and not in some alley."

(That's fair. Ray's a tough guy to get involved in things. He's always trying to avoid having to do anything. XD I do have a potential future plan that might give him a bit more oomph.) Ray walked away at a somewhat faster pace than before. After a few moments he let out a breath of relief when he realized he wasn't being followed. Why did people have to be such a drag?- "GET BACK HERE!" a voice yelled further down the street. A wild haired man with wide dark eyes burst out of a cafe. The door slammed open, nearly tearing off of it's hinges. He looked this way and that before his gaze settled on something across the street, where the edge of a red coat disappeared between two buildings. "Ohoho, you're not getting away from me that easily!" The blue-haired freak raced across the street. Horns blared and tires squealed, narrowly missing the reckless fellow. The man zipped away between two buildings. (Appearance:) Ringo was seated upon the roof of a building, looking down at the streets below with some amusement. The breeze tugged at the tails of his red coat.(Appearance of Ringo:) (If these two don’t take his interest, I’ll just have Isa run into him if that’s what you’d like. XD Supernova’s ‘too cool’ to be seen in this area.)

Alex got up from his seat and walked across the room to a minifridge against the wall. He knelt down and opened the door, quietly sighing in disappointment when he saw he only had one can of soda left. He pulled it out and cracked it open, taking a drink while closing the minifridge with his foot. "Food? I don't know, I'm not really feeling all that hungry." He leaned against the wall and took another drink as he listened to Pip's question to Masaki.

(Sorry for not replying sooner. My internet just decided to wander off somewhere yesterday)
Naga watched the man walk away before turning around to continue in the direction he was going before. Right away he noticed a man with blue hair running across the street into traffic apparently chasing after something. His curiosity getting the better of him he dicided to see what was going on. Picking up his pace he walked up to and peered into the alley the man had run into.

(No problem. :3)
The alley and the roads beyond were little more than narrow pathways of packed dirt. Xero ran through a maze of alleys and small streets. The man was faster than he looked, but whatever he was chasing always remained just out of reach. At long last, Xero finally skidded to a stop in half-shaded dead-end alley. At the end of the alley stood the man in the red coat, staring right back at him. Panting and chuckling, Xero rested his hands on his knees. "I got you now... huff... huff... There's nowhere you can go." Catching his breath, Xero straightened and approached the smirking man at the end of the alley. "Whew! You sure are fast." The man made no move as he approached. "So what's next? You going to fight me? Please say you'll fight me- I haven't had a good fight in so long." No matter how close Xero got, or how much he said, the man in the red coat just stood there with that same smirk. Xero stopped at a close, yet safe distance, his hand touching the gun holstered at his side. "Now what's that look mean? Come on man, say something! I'm not a mindreader." Xero glanced around, and edged closer, his hand lowering from his gun. "Hey..." Suddenly he lunged forwards to tackle the man. "Got you!" he cried, but to his surprise, he passed right through, falling to the dirt and bumping against the wall of the dead end. "What-? Ooof!" The image of the man in the red coat flickered and whisked away. "Heeeeyy! Get back here! I'm not done with you!" Xero muttered to himself as he pushed himself to his feet. "Grrr... I knew I should have used the gun first." Reaching into his pocket, he unfolded a crinkled piece of paper. On the page was a picture of the man who he had been chasing. "So your name's Ringo, huh?"

Naga watched as the man disappeared further down into the alley. He had to think for a moment on whether to follow after the man. On one hand following this guy could be an entertaining use of his time. On the other he should really be heading back to his old safehouse to chase out any squatters that had set up camp there. He figured that he may as well follow after the man and kill some time. Tailing people was one his specialties so he figured if something too interesting happened he could get out of there before he was noticed.
Following fast behind the blue haired man Naga found himself going deeper and deeper into a tangle of small streets and alleys. He was starting to fear he was being lured into a trap when the man arrived at a dead end. Naga was finally able to get good look at what the blue haired man was chasing - it was a man in a red coat. It looked like the blue haired man was saying something to the man in the red coat but he couldn't make out what exactly he said since he was just out of hearing distance. Whatever it was the blue haired man said the other didn't offer a response when he was suddenly tackled by the blue haired one. However, instead of being thrown to the ground the blue haired man phased through the man in the red coat as if he didn't even exist. A moment later the man in the red coat started to flicker before he disappeared leaving Naga chastising himself for following the man. He didn't need to get involved with other people with powers immediately after returning to the city.

(What if Xero or Ringo is said squatter? XD Or would that be too much? I actually don't have a real home planned for either of them.)
Ringo's gaze followed the entire chase from where he sat. It had only been an hour ago that he had entered the cafe for a for a touch of coffee. The cafe wasn't your typical cafe, nor was it a well known one, but it was one of his favourite places to go. Not only was there fewer people, but they made the best Irish coffee in the city. He had been sitting back, simply enjoying his Irish coffee when this noisy blue haired man made himself comfortable at his table. The man chattered away as if they were old pals, though in honesty, he had never seen this man before in his life. Perhaps the man was edging on insanity. Or perhaps he had something more nefarious in mind. Ringo had made enemies with a variety of dangerous people. Though not many people knew his true face, it wouldn't be unusual for someone to send someone after him. However, even considering that this man was capable of such a plot almost seemed like a joke as he continued his longwinded story. He seemed far too idiotic to have anything so conniving planned.
"Wait a moment... You look kind of familiar. Have I seen you before?" the so-called Xero mused, squinting at Ringo. That was when Ring knew. Bending the light, he walked away without anyone knowing. An illusion clone remained where he had been seated, while the light was bent to conceal his real body. He left the cafe and made his way across the street to a tall building. Entering it, he climbed the stairs to the top. At the top, he released his concealment and sat down upon the roof. The quiet in his ears and the touch of the gentle breeze seemed to calm him. He released the illusion inside the cafe. It was only a few moments later that Xero burst out, shouting at him to come back. He could hear the man's voice from here. How could this man-child have survived this long with such an unrefined attitude? Taking amusement in Xero's efforts, Ringo strung him along. He reached out and formed an illusion running through the alleys below him.
That was when he noticed something peculiar. Their little game of cat and mouse was being followed. Had he not been looking from a birds eye view, he likely would have never noticed. Unlike Xero, this guy had real skill. He led Xero to a dead end and waited to see what the man would do. A laugh escaped him when he saw the fool leap to tackle his illusion to the ground. He released the illusion, his laughter dying to a soft chuckle. It had been a long time since he had laughed, and all it seemed to take was fooling around with idiots. Was this what his life had become? Ringo let out a long sigh and peered down at the alley. He was beginning to think this was all a waste of time, but he was mildly curious about this new guy and what he might do. ~ Xero crunched up the paper again and stuffed it into his pocket. His face was crunched up in what appeared to be painful thought. The guy vanishes in the middle of a cafe and vanishes yet again in an alleyway. Was he a teleporter? Or maybe- Xero thought, his face turning a shade whiter. Or maybe he was a ghost! "Why in the world would they send me after a ghost!" he yelled incredulously, shaking his fists at the sky. "Like I can catch something that I can't even touch..." he muttered. His eyebrows pulled together again. "Or... What if I can. What kinds of things can I use to catch a ghost?" He started to walk away from the dead end, scratching at the slight scruff on his chin.

(I don't mind, it would certainly make things more interesting lol)
Naga regained his focus upon hearing footsteps come closer. He briefly entertained stepping out and acting as if he was lost but decided against it. He didn't know if the blue haired man had powers as well and he certainly didn't want to find out. He wasn't as well equipped and as well prepared as he would usually be when going up against someone with powers. His abilities just weren't as useful without the equipment he usually used and he dreaded the thought of fighting anyone without intel on their abilities. So he decided to try and get away as fast as possible without alerting the blue haired man and began heading back the way he had come.
(Also, I'm fine with Naga getting caught here and it possibly turning into a fight. He'd be more willing to fight in an alley than in the middle of the street)

(Ringo’s less likely to attack a man for no reason, though Xero might. XD)
Now how would he go about catching a ghost? Would salt work? Was that a thing? Perhaps he could instal a salt factor into his weapon. The gravel crunched in his ears with each step. Xero blinked and stopped for a moment, listening. Was it just him or was there a bit of an echo here? He took one step, then another, listening for the echo. Ghosts didn’t make footsteps, did they? Ideas spun through his mind and he squinted through the half shaded alley. His hand rested on the bulky handgun at his hip. It wasn’t a normal gun. It almost looked more like a toy than a real gun, and even then it wasn’t a known brand. His senses strained, searching for something- anything. A crunch of gravel, a sound of a breath, the scent of fear, perhaps a flickering in the shadows ahead of him. Xero was excited at the chance at another thrilling adventure.
(Xero’s ability is complicated. ;w; But a side affect is enhanced senses and physical abilities. Not anything close to superman, but a bit better than a normal human being. His weakness? Recklessness. He’s not the smartest of foes and will often leave himself open. If the time comes, feel free to do anything you like to him. He can be hurt, though he might be weird about it. You can go as far as even killing him. :3 Another factor of his ability will come into play then.)

Masaki rolled his eyes "Few years my ass. You've raised your age by at least a decade just now" he said. At her question he gave her a look almost as if he was saying it were obvious. "Well with me. Pip rolled her eyes when he said she was a decade older, biting back a sharp retort. His next statement was more than enough to wash away her temper. She straightened and nearly jumped up from her place on the couch. "Really?!" Her face was practically glowing (not literally XD). "I mean- gosh... this is happenin' so fast! I get my own room? Wow. But what colour should I make it? And decorations- I cain't forget decorations." Her hands were raised to her mouth in a feeble attempt to hide her giddiness, but then her eyes widened in realization. "My stuff! I need to go and get my things! I hope Mr. Bossy pants has been keeping busy..."

(Haha. No worries.)
Xero eyebrows lifted and a grin spread across his face. Bingo! He launched from his spot to give chase. It was harder to hear the ghost with the sound of his own running to contend with, but he pressed onwards, certain he'd catch up with his target. Walls of old buildings whizzed past him as he ran. Each gap he passed cast a blinding ray of sunlight. Light, dark, light, dark. He couldn't be sure he was going the right direction, but from the faint sounds he could pick up, he knew the ghost was close. He ought to be somewhere ahead. Xero took in a deep breath and focused on pushing all that he could into his legs, willing himself to go faster. And with such doubtless intensity, it worked. He sped along at the speed of a bicycle.

Naga was glad he had a headband on to keep his long brown hair out of his eyes because with how fast he was running it would have made it impossible to see otherwise. He could hear the man chasing after him and was suprised to hear the footsteps rapidly coming closer. Naga knew he could either keep trying to get away or he could stop and find somewhere advantageous for him to confront his pursuer. Seeing an alley that led to a dead end he decided that would be the best place to lie in wait. He ran to the end of the alley to wait for his pursuer to catch up.

(If you want to or if you think it'd help me to understand what's going on, I'd be up for that. If you ever want, I can explain Xero's ability in more detail. XD I have an entire plot based around it.)
Xero nearly missed the turn. He slid to a stop, gravel scuffing beneath his feet. He backtracked and peered down the other alley. He listened at the entrance, panting and rubbing his legs before stepping into the alleyway. "There you are! Huff, huff... You are sure one evasive dude, man." Xero pulled his gun from his holster and pointed it towards the shadows at the end of the alley. "But you're not getting away this time." His eyes began to adjust to the light, and at last he could see- wait a moment, that wasn't Ringo... or was it? Was he a shapeshifter too? In this lapse of thought, Xero lowered his gun a smidgeon, his brows pulled together in confusion.

"Ah, well... First off there's the house- though on second thought, I might not want that house, having my own room and all. Then there's my lamps, my makeup, my jewelry, my clothes, my table, my desk, my games, my curtains, my furniture, my plant, my collections, my postahs, my stash..." She had been trying to keep track on her fingers, but was quickly loosing count. She rubbed the back of her neck and grinned cheesily at Masaki, "I'm very space efficient," she concluded, hopping to her feet and skipping to the door. With her hand on the doorknob, she looked back at Masaki. "You think I can catch a ride on the way? I'll tell you where to go."

Alex tossed the now empty can at the garbage can in the corner of the room, which had become quite easy to do with the targeting system installed in his eye implants. Pip giggled at Masaki's concern. He really didn't get how space efficient she could be, did he? One benefit to her ability was that she could stick her entire life into her pocket. As handy as it was, she was just happy she wouldn't need to anymore. A real room of her own, not some stinky storage backroom. She threw the door open, and grinned back at the boys. "Well? What a'we waitin' fo'?!"
They travelled further into the centre of the city, further into the mess of people, cars and noise. When they turned onto another street, everything suddenly seemed a lot more quiet. It was a wide street, with only the occasional semi passing by. The looming buildings around them were quiet for the most part, other than the odd worker. They were storage buildings for various store companies. Pip stopped at a large plain looking building. There was no title on its side, just a simple set of doors and a couple garage doors on the other side of the building. Pip strode right up to the main doors of the building before anyone could stop her and she pushed it open. "Hellooooooo? I'm hooooome!" she called, entering the building. Inside, it was full of shelf upon shelf of stacked boxes. The boxes were covered with upc codes, sizes, serial codes, shrink wrap covered in shipping stamps. Between the enormous stacks, were grid-like pathways. Pip strode down one such pathway with little hesitation. Closed inside most of the boxes were clothes, furniture and other merchandise.

Alex cautiously followed behind Pip, scanning many of the boxes as they went past. He hadn't discovered anything out of the ordinary yet, but he couldn't shake this strange feeling he had. He focused his gaze ahead, configuring his scanners to pick up any life signs within the building. If there was anyone in here, he wanted to be aware of them.

Other than a couple of birds that had slipped into the building and built a cozy little nest in the rafters, there was no sign of life inside the building.
"Sure quiet today!" Pip chirruped as she skipped along. Today must be her lucky day. Pip reached a wall slowed to a stop. She shoved aside a box, and flung upon the door, dusting her hands as she entered the smaller room. There were more crates in the room, these ones filled with fancy clothing, fluffy blankets, cute toys and other pretty things. There was a small clearing in the middle of the room, exposing the cold cement floor. Six large crates were arranged in one corner in two stacks. They appeared to be stacked more haphazardly than the other boxes. These boxes were full of metal tools; nuts, bolts, wrenches, screws, hammers and more, and they stuck out as if they were hiding something in the very corner. Pip grew in size, becoming an 11 foot 16 year old, and hauled the boxes to the side with soft grunts. Behind the boxes was a fully enclosed realistic, fancy pink dollhouse. Pip shrunk down to average size with a grin. "There it is! My house!" Inside the dollhouse were all the things that would be in a normal house.
There was a room below the cement floor. One full of hundreds of tiny boxes. Boxes full of contraband and illegal guns.
On various well-hidden points in the building, three spy cams were installed. One such spy cam was in the very room they stood in. It was in the nail hole of one of the crates. ~ The Locksman's boots clinked to a stop in front of the warehouse. She's here at last... and with friends.
