"I'll try my best." 13 said, but turned to Starling with a smile. "My friends wouldn't have run, friend. If I do, I could never forgive myself." Now the young man approached, and took one of Starling's hands in his, holding that same sad smile. Then, he leaned in close to her, and whispered. "Enix. Holly. Find them for me, please."
A pillar of flame arose from young Maxwell, and he turned his gaze downwards, along with the pyre of flame, scorching those before him. Anger was beginning to take hold, he could feel the animal inside demanding more. He would've pushed forward by now, pressed his advantage towards that energy he'd felt earlier, but his friend beside him kept him in place.

Starlingβs Eyes weβre wide, before he took her hand, where her face seemed to screw up in pain, a cry escaping her as she tore her hand free, as if burned. She rubbed her hand, glaring at him through fiery blue eyes, which seemed a bit more wild, before they softened, β13, I think-I think Enix has moved on. She lost her powers to Orion, she lost so much, she couldnβt handle it anymore. She lost you, and she lost her best friend.β She said, calmly, before she looked down, βI know you had affections for her, but sheβs gone now. Sheβs safe, sheβs trying to be happy. Holly, sheβs-β
A cat fell from the sky above Starling, and she floundered to catch and black and white thing, which was hissing and growling. Her eyes flickered up to the portal that was there before her, confused as could be. β...this better not be one of Styxβs cats,β she deadpanned. Though her gaze flew back up to 13, βHollyβs dead. Like, real dead. Never coming back dead. Actually 6-feet-under dead.β For emphasis, she used a free hand to point downward, large frown on her face.
Lennox watched Maxwell in panic, her sense flaring with alarm, as she cradled into herself, red-orange eyes closing, as if it would keep off the fear.

13 watched with the most unemotional gaze one could muster. So, the whole of his life, the illusion he'd built up, had already broken down? Holly was gone, and Enix was happy without him. Well, that stung just a bit. He stepped back, ignoring the cat, and turned to Zed. "I think I'm ready to go."
This was getting no where fast. For every beast he scorched, two took it's place. While he relished the challenge, he couldn't risk being overwhelmed and putting Lennox into peril. And that worry was what set in motion a change. For as he was being enveloped by the hordes, and he saw them close off their escape back down the opposite direction of the highway, he realized they were trapped as they were. Maxwell jumped back closer to Lennox, looming over top of her crouched form, as protective as he could be. His nostrils flared, eyes wide and scanning every possible attacker.

The cat let off a meow as it jumped out of Starlingβs arms, green eyes staring up at 13 as it meowed again. It was younger, it seemed, fluffy, with wild fur sticking up in wild tufts. It was as if it was trying to warn 13 about something.
Starling sighed, guilt filling her heart, a soft apology escaping her as she watched 13.

(Everyone: Hey guys. I thought I could hold out, but... hehe... I know I did this before and I hate to be such a flake, but I might have to leave the role-play again. ;w;) (I'll do what I can to help wrap up things as they are. If any of you want to take over any of my characters feel free. I'd be fine with whatever you decide to do with them. ^^) (If they are unclaimed, this is like how they'll end up: Zed will die facing Night. Blink will either die trying to protect Hornet, or simply disappear from the story. Blink had the intentions to leave them all behind. He feels like what had happened in the past is going to happen all over again. He thinks that anyone close to him will die, hence the goodbye kiss. Rosie will either run away or die in some fighting. Pip would be caught by the Locksman and spirited away, leaving little to no trail for Masaki. Ray might be set free from Pip, but he's more of a background character, so he can have an open end. Xero also can have an open end. Farlow might die in this fight. Ollie will mourn him, then take Ash and the kids to meet the others. Finla and Lowen... They couldn't run away, because Ash would likely track them down. Perhaps they are put in a safehouse of sorts... Ollie... Will either end up forgotten or dead when facing Orion. Olga will die and the gang will be destroyed. Ringo will go off on his own or die with the gang. It might take a few months before I can role-play all this out, so I guess I'll be stick around for a while longer. I owe you guys that much. ^^ And it's always fun roleplaying with you all.)
Zed looked at Lyra and Starling. "Are you two up to the challenge? We'll need you to inform the dragon boy." Then his gaze flicked to Starling. "If you're not up to it, then go. We don't need cowards in this game." He hated to be so harsh, especially to a girl, but now wasn't the time to have second thoughts. He lifted off the roof and looked at 13. "Can you fly?" --- "Hello father!" Finla chirruped, poking her head out again. Lowen also peered out. Farlow seemed to relax somewhat at Ash's words. "Yes, I did. He's this way." Farlow turned around a corner and into a small square. Ollie stood with a family, pointing out a direction for them to go. The family took off and he spun around, holding out his hand. About five ghouls were heading after the family, but they all slowed to a stop in confusion. --- Olga blinked in surprise when Lydia opened the door to reveal the dark outdoors. "Since when was it dark? It can't be night already!"

(I'm going to miss you Light! I hope we can talk still, roleplay later when things are better for you. You're my friend, and I hope to know how you are. <3)
13 stared back at the cat, but he knew every second was closer and closer to destruction for everyone. He couldn't stay much longer. "J-Just one second." He called to Zed, and knelt down for the cat. "What is it?"
~
Hornet lurched back, and threw her weapon with all her might. One might've mistaken it for an orbital bombardment with the strength she threw it, for as it collided with Night's invisible barrier it shattered the thing- though her sword shattered too. She cursed, but from her rooftop she could see the blood pooling on Night's forehead from the blow. She had perched atop a roof off the highway, and as soon as the light beam had shot up she had thrown. Hopefully, she thought as she ran forward, passed all the various monster, she had thrown his concentration just enough.
~
Maxwell saw this, and immediately grabbed Lennox and ran straight forward. THe monsters had made the mistake of loosening their guard on the path to their master in order to encircle him, and with a breath of flame was able to carve a path straight there. With Lennox cradled like a princess in his grasp, he charged forward.

(Of course! ^^ Feel free to talk or PM me any time. I'll pop in the forums every now and then. I suppose one of the biggest parts is that I get too excitable with roleplaying, which makes for an extremely bumpy road down the trail. I basically become an Ollie to the point it affects my life with strange moods. It's not anyone's fault but my own. You all are great roleplayers. Shadow's beautiful professional-like detail. Lioncl's practicality and his fascinating characters. Samandriel's story flow and ability to align everything in a way everyone can appreciate and understand. Macabre (if that's still his name XD) for his fun characters and the ideas he has for them. I've fallen in love with every one of your characters, so I might peek in on the story every once in a while and see what's going on. It's been an honour roleplaying with you all, as it will be for the next little while. I might post some plot ideas I never got to use, just for the sake of getting them out.) (On second thought, Farlow might not die here. It might be in the next plot. Not sure yet though.)
When 13 paused, Zed frowned a little, but something on his video feed caught his attention. He turned, looking down at the scene below.

The cat, it seemed, almost smiled, before hooking it's claws into the ground below her feet, as if trying to spell something out. It just seemed like strange magic syllables however. Almost rune-like, a spell, it seemed. The cat then expectantly stared at 13, green eyes almost seeming to glow.

(This happened after Ollie lost his arm to Cyto and he recently got a new and improved one from Ress. ^^ It was before the big fight with Cyto.) Thank you... Ollie stared down at his metal hand as he walked down the sidewalk. His hand clenched into a fist as he turned into an alleyway. Robin and Ress went through all this trouble to help him. He would use the gift to return the favour, but first he had to find Hollyβs memories. That way, they wouldnβt have to fight their friend. Ollie turned the corner into a shaded alleyway. He walked a short ways in before glancing behind him to ensure that he was alone. He took in a deep breath and vanished from reality.
The world seemed to take on a darker shade. He was in the forgotten realm. It was an eerie place that tugged on his mental capacities. It was only here heβd find what he was seeking. That was what the woman in the dream had said. It was still vague in his mind, but he could almost still hear her voice. A whisper in his mind. His heart beat quickly, as he looked around. βHello!? Iβm here! Just like you asked...β Only silence responded. Ollie walked forwards, further into the alley. Perhaps the dream hasnβt meant anything. Perhaps it had all been his imagination. Wishful thinking. His foot struck something and he was quickly falling towards the dirt. He held out his arms and braced for impact, but it never came. His senses were confused and he could no longer tell up from down. When he opened his eyes he was standing on a cobblestone path. The sun was shining down in bright rays. Before him stood a great stone mansion. He was standing at the base of a flight of steps, leading to a couple large doors. His first feeling was of great confusion. How did he get here? Where was here? Whatever was going on, he was never going to save Holly if he remained here. Gathering his courage, he ascended the steps and approached the doors. He was prepared to knock, but the doors opened at his approach. Nobody stood behind them. βOkay...β Despite an uneasy feeling, he entered the building. Before him stretched a very long hall. He couldnβt even see the end. A violet carpet covered the hallβs floor. The walls were adorned with the occasional picture of people he didnβt know. He walked down the hall, and his feet didnβt make a sound on the soft carpet. It seemed to go on forever, and he passed many closed doors. Finally, after what seemed to be ages, he reached the end of the hall. The door was open here and a picture hung above it. It was a picture of him. Ollie paused at the doorway. The uneasy feeling in his gut was much stronger now, but he felt drawn to whatever was inside. He already came this far, he might as well go in. Ignoring his gut, he entered the room. It was brighter than the hall. The window across the room was wide open, the curtains fluttering lightly in the breeze. Between him and the window was a table. On the table sat a teapot of delicious smelling tea and a couple empty cups. Ollie stepped forwards, glancing down at the tea set before moving past to look out the window. Nearly everything was sky. Far below was an ocean that stretched to the horizon. It was hard to tell the sea apart from the sky. The water crashed against the rocks far below.
βBeautiful isnβt it?β a soft feminine voice came from behind Ollie.
Ollie jumped and spun around. A woman in long trailing violet was seated at the table. She hadnβt been there before. βYouβre her. Youβre the one who called me here.β
βYes, I am.β The woman smiled warmly, but something about it made his gut churn. βCome, sit,β she gestured to the seat across from her. βWe have much to talk about.β Ollie hesitated, but he came and sat down. She poured a light violet liquid into two cups and pushed one cup towards him. Ollie stared down at it, watching it swirl gently into stillness. His reflection seemed to stare back at him in warning. It smelt heavenly, but he didnβt drink.
Zabyty lifted her cup and took a slow sip before gracefully lowering her cup. βYou came. I was beginning to doubt you would.β Watching her face as she spoke, Ollie had a strong feeling that it was a lie. She had known all along that he was coming.
βYou said that I could return Hollyβs memories... That I could protect my friends...β
Zabyty nodded. βAnd you can, if you accept my help.β
Ollieβs gaze narrowed and he took a deep breath. βWhatβs the cost?β
βThe cost?β A smile grew on Zabytyβs face. βNothing.β
βNothing?β Ollie repeated like he didnβt really believe it.
Zabyty leaned forwards, reaching out and stroking his jawline. βJust being closer to my adorable little son is enough for me. I want to get to know you, Ollie. After all, youβre a rather curious character.β
Ollie jerked away from her hand. This Zabyty honestly scared him. She was kind of creepy in a stalkerish way. βI already told you. Iβm not your son.β
βAnd I already told you that you are,β Zabyty stood then, and with the grace of a cloud, slowly circled the table. βIs it proof that you want? So be it!β Suddenly everything vanished. The table, the chairs, the window, the sky- everything was gone, replaced by a black void. It something akin to outer space, with distant stars glowing in the distance. Only Ollie and Zabyty remained. βEverything here belongs to me. It is a part of me. It is me.β It was as if a filter was set over the scene. Zabyty vanished and everything turned a shade of violet. Everything, except for Ollie who had taken on a soft blue glow. βAre you ready for the fun part?β Her voice whispered in his ear. Everything around him turned dark, highlighting his own form. βRemember when Cyto attacked you? You would have died, had it not been to your connection to the forgotten realm.β The image came to life before his eyes, and he couldnβt help but grimace when he saw Cyto standing over the image of him, the monsterβs tail stuck in his lower chest. He looked so pitiful, laying there, slowly being drained of life. Ollie looked away. βLook again... Closer this time,β Zabytyβs voice seemed to whisper in his head. An invisible force seemed to turn his head back to the image. Now he could see himself as a mass of blue light. Blue light that was being sucked away into Cyto. The last of it vanished, and it was almost as if he was dead. Gone. But then a well of dark violet light poured out from his body.
βI- I donβt understand.β
βWhen you forgot, it suppressed your connection to the forgotten realm. But Cytoβs attack was a blessing in disguise. It practically sucked the suppression out of you." A mirror appeared before him. Ollie did consist of blue light, but there were webs of violet among it.
Everything seemed to spin back in place then, the tea, the table, the chairs, the window, the view. They were all back.
βDonβt you see? You were born with a part of me within you. You are my son,β Zabyty clarified with a smile, seated elegantly in her chair. It was as if she had never moved from her spot.
Ollie was simply at a loss, so he looked down at the table, his hands closing around the teacup.
βOf course, itβs your choice. You can simply walk away and watch your friends die because you were too weak to do anything. Or... you can accept my power, save your friends, and youβd be closer to me than ever before,β she said with a sweet smile.
How could she seem so nice, yet so creepy at the same time? βHow do I know that youβre telling the truth? You donβt know what will happen in the future. What if I-?β
Her sweet facade fell into something more serious. βWhat? You think you can somehow train yourself to beat something like Cyto. As you are, you donβt stand a chance. Donβt you remember last time. Next time will likely only be worse. And without my help, youβll never find Hollyβs memories. Without me here, the forgotten realm would have eaten you alive ages ago.β
If what she said was true, she didnβt leave him much choice. βFine. Iβll do it.β
Zabyty was instantly all smiles again. βThen let us prepare a toast!β She lifted her teacup. βTo fulfilling dreams!β
Ollie hesitated, but he awkwardly lifted his cup. Zabyty was taking a long sip from hers, so he followed suit. The violet liquid was warm and sweet. It tasted delicious. Ollieβs eyes widened, he hadnβt known what to expect from violet tea, but he never would have expected it to be so good. He could feel itβs warm soothing flavour all the way down to his stomach. He set down his cup with a bit of a smile. βWhatβs in this, Iβve ne-β his words slowed to a stop and he clutched himself with a pained grimace. What had once been warm and soothing was now burning his insides. βYou tricked me!β he groaned, glaring at Zabyty. βWhat did you really bring me here for? To kill me?!β
βNo no no... You got it all wrong. I donβt kill, and if I wanted to be rid of you, Iβd have done it long ago. No. I believe you, my child, are special,β she said with a secretive smile and a cool, chilling voice. βAnd if I am correct, you will survive this ordeal stronger than ever.β
Ollie barely heard Zabyty as a great cry of agony escaped him. All he remembered from that moment was feeling great pain and seeing Zabytyβs patient smiling face watching him from across the table before the darkness took him. ~ His entire body tingled when he drew to consciousness. He groaned softly and his eyes slid open. Where was he? He was laying on a violet glass floor. Around him was a vast darkness with little specks of light. It was as if he was in outer space. He pushed himself to his feet, and stumbled as he tried to regain his balance. He seemed to be on a platform that stretching for what seemed to be an eternity through the darkness. A buzz hummed within his head and he quickly cupped his head with his hands. Image after image, scene after scene, memories flooded into his mind. He stumbled back, nearing the edge of the platform. His foot stepped out in open air and next thing he knew, he was falling, images still flashing through his mind. He squeezed his eyes closed. When his eyes flashed open, he remembered everything. Family, being lost, being forgotten, the loneliness, Holly, the fight, being lost, Robin and the others, Cyto, his arm, the palace in the Forgotten Realm, Zabyty.... glowing orbs of forgotten memory drifted past him as he continued to fall into the vast darkness. For a moment he was caught in itβs foreign beauty. Falling no longer frightened him. It seemed there was no bottom to this dark space. Then his gaze narrowed. βZabyty!β he called out, his voice edging on anger.
There she was, drifting into form right before him. βAw, did Ollie make a little fall? You should know better than to fall off the path. I might not be there to save you next time,β she said with a grin. The darkness swirled around them and Ollie found himself standing on the path he had been standing on earlier.
βWhat did you do to me?β Ollie grumbled, holding his head.
βI just secured your attachment to the Forgotten Realm. This made you more resistant to it, resulting in the fact you got your memories back. What? Donβt you like my little gift?β Ollieβs only reply was a glare. Zabyty chuckled softly and started to walk down the path. βYou do want to return Hollyβs memories, donβt you?β
Ollie hesitated before following. He didnβt trust Zabyty, but she was his only way of getting through all this.
(This was as far as I got. Basically, Zabyty takes him to the end of the path and they reach a misty area that feeds off and responds to the thoughts of the one who has entered. Here, Zabyty teaches Ollie how to retrieve memories from the forgotten realm. She had also made it so his metal arm worked differently than the rest of him. It could give memories instead of take. When he gets back to the remembered realm, itβs about time to fight Cyto. Over time, Zabyty teaches him more, like how to hunt lost trails of thought and how they can still be loosely connected to the owner. Etc.) (Plots involving Ollie's family, Zabyty and a brief connection to Farlow, Lowen and Finla.) (I had also been planning a plot about Ollieβs mother. His real mother. The reason heβs closer to the Forgotten Realm than anyone before him is because he was born with it. History of the forgotten realm: The Forgotten Realm is a void that gathers memories. The void stirred and gathered these memories, giving rise to Zabyty, a being hungry for more memories. She longs to go out into the remembered realm and make her own memories, but her nature wonβt allow her that. So with much plotting, she gave some of her power to a human. That human must carry on in life as a forgotten person. They may pass on the ability when they die, and that way they wonβt die forgotten. As it was passed on, the ability only got stronger and more adapted to being wielded by a human. Ollieβs mother was just a girl picking flowers when it happened. Over her years, she made it so time had forgotten her, so she lived a long time. That means Ollieβs arm of memory would be her greatest weakness. If time remembers her, she would die of old age. Ollie is so different because he was borne from a forgotten person. This makes him more compatible with Zabytyβs original intentions. Next time he overdoes himself in the Forgotten Realm, I had a whole plot planned out. The blue crystal protects Ollie from Zabyty for the most part, so Zabyty would take every part of herself from Ollie. When Ollie returns to the remembered realm, he would be in a coma-like state. Zabyty would try to manipulate his friends through dreams or something like that, trying to convince them that it was the blue crystal keeping him from waking up. That he would wake as soon as the blue crystal was removed. Since she can manipulate what is remembered, perhaps she manipulates Cassβ visions. Part of it is true. Ollie will wake up when the crystal is removed, but it wonβt be Ollie. When the crystal is removed, Zabyty runs off, doing what she wants. Meanwhile, Ollie is trapped in the Forgotten realm, being sucked into a violet pool like the celestial king in Fairy Tail, or like how Lucy was being absorbed into the clock in the same show. If the process is completed, Ollie would become what Zabyty was in the Forgotten Realm. Heβd be trapped there for eternity. I was thinking somehow, some of the friends would somehow get into the Forgotten Realm with the blue crystal to keep them safe and search for Ollie. Because once Ollie is free and returned to the remembered realm, and the blue crystal is placed back around his real bodyβs neck, Zabyty would be cast back into the Forgotten Realm. And about his mom. I had this strange inkling of an idea that by some twisty forgotten realm nonsense, she would also be the mother of Finla and Lowen. That is why they were born unnaturally considering the normal reproduction of guardian animals. Usually they have only one male heir. Farlow had two children and one is female, more human-like than any before. But I dunno. The idea is pretty weird in itself.)
(I even had plans for Ollieβs children. Heβd have at least two. One who could cause memory, and one who could cause forgotten memory. The one who causes people to forget would look startlingly like Zabyty with long violet hair. She was going to grow up a nervous wreck, Ollie times 10. But over time sheβd develop.) (Little plot involving Zed:) (He would have made cool suits for Isaac, Hornet, Blink and possibly has some extras. Much like the Council of Wells in The Flash, he would've made his Council of Zed once he learned more of the different universes.)

gonna miss you when you do leave though Light. I remember that happening to me once and I ended up leaving the forums and came back only to find on this site)
Ash followed Farlow as they turned the corner. He caught sight of the dark-skinned man standing before him pointing out where the family should head. His animal instincts told him that the man was not normal so he figured that this was Farlow's friend. Ash looked down at Farlow "You would think there would be other powered people around during this" he said
The first thing Lydia noticed as well was that the sky was dark "No, it isn't. It's not even close to sundown yet so I don't know why it's like this" she said. "Looks like our shopping plans are gonna have to be postponed. I need to contact Ollie and find out what the situation is" she said as she started using her watch to try and message Ollie

(Thanks everyone! <3 Ah, but is it the character affecting me or me affecting the character? Quite the interesting cycle. Yeah, I've been on and off with this for years of roleplaying. I don't know if I should bring myself back another time, but if I do, perhaps I'll start small. :3)
"Likely. But The Death has spread wide on this edge of the city. Everyone will likely have their hands occupied trying to keep them out," Farlow grunted, as he leapt forwards, dispatching one- two- three of the five ghouls Ollie had confused. Ollie had his focus on Farlow and the ghouls, so he didn't notice the beep of his watch at first.
(Might have said this before, but I keep picturing this group of figures in dark cloaks. Ollie, Farlow, Ash, Lowen, Finla. XD It has a rather eerie vibe to it.) --- The lighting was dim, lit only by the lamps on the street, but a figure was walking between them. Olga removed her sunglasses so she could see better. It looked like Ollie, and he wasn't walking, but running. It seemed he had returned. "Lydia!" he called, panic written on his face.

He turned, looking down at the scene below.(You're just too much Light <33 Best to you bud. And this isn't a goodbye, since I hate goodbyes. This is an until next time!) 13 stared at the symbol, and then at the cat. He'd recognized this symbol, almost as soon as the cat had begun drawing. Was this the key? "Am I to use this, my feline friend?" 13 looked over at Zed, and made a waving motion. Get going, I'll catch up. ~~ Hornet and Night were face to face in just a few moments. With one hand, Night was concentrating on his spell to revive the Tarrasque, but his other raised into the air. All around black beams of light appeared from the earth, incinerating what they touched. Earlier Hornet may have been unable to react to such sudden explosions of magic, but with her newly tapped abilities, she could sense the energy before it fired, giving just a hair of wiggle room to dodge. And as she did, she gained ground, approaching closer to Night. It was mere feet away now, her target, when the ground shook once more and knocked her down to her rump. Hornet barely rolled backwards and sprung with her hands onto her feet in time to dodge another eruption of magic. ~~ Maxwell lunged forward through another small scattering of beasts. Night was beginning to summon other creatures now, ravenous hellhounds and flying imps. Anything his summoner's curses could bring. But none could stop the dragon boy, and not a scratch landed upon the precious thing in his arms that one might call his dragon's horde. Whatever the sound shaking symbolized, he knew it wasn't good. Maxwell looked at the girl in his arms, and smiled. "Lennox, I made a mistake and now we're in too deep. I don't think I can get us both out unless I kill the one who started all this."

(Aye. Till next time. When I wrap everything up that is. I thought I'd tell you all now, so everybody doesn't freak out when I run into a bunch of dead ends.) (Also, back at Zed's base, Zed probably has the suits ready, I mean if you want to build on in that way. Feel free to grab any sort of nicknack from his base when he's gone. I mean, I hate to kill him off, but there are so many explanations that can go around that too. Maybe people will just think he died.... XD Or it can be like the Flash. Endless supply of Zeds thought the alternate universes.)
Zed turned around, his digital eyes bright (-^^-), as he looked back at the others. "It looks like you're off the hook. Dragon boy seems to have found his own path." He didn't know what 13 was doing talking to a cat, nor did he know how the cat could write. It was fascinating. Perhaps he could learn more about it, about them later. He took a step back, precariously leaning off the edge of the roof. "Very well, do what you must, all of you." He glanced at the ladies and pretended to lift off a hat to them. "And I hope we'll meet again-" His foot suddenly slipped and he fell over the edge, but that didn't stop him from calling out his farewell. "-under better circumstances!" Fwooosh! He came back into view, flying off towards the scene. He had an inkling that was where Hornet was. He couldn't know for sure because the limited cameras in that area were going haywire. He tapped into Isaac's connection. "Isaac, have you seen the boy breathing fire? If you see him and you're ready, help him to get to the pillar of light. He's the dragon we've been looking for." On his way towards the pillar of light, he checked the progress of the weapons he had deployed. Missile number one should be approaching Night from above right about now. It was locked onto his heat signature.

The cat sat down, tail over itβs feet, and simply gave a slow, solemn nod. Itβs ears flicked back, hissing as it stared out at the beasts before them, green eyes glowing a vibrant shade for a moment.
Lennox frowned deeply, her eyes wide, βBut...but canβt we find another way? I-wonβt that make you feel guilty?β She questioned softly, placing her hand up, so she could hug him gingerly, despite being held, βI donβt want you to feel guilty,β she whimpered out.

(Here are some practice pictures of some of your characters that I was drawing. Thought I'd post them. :3 Definitely not the best, but they were practice. XD) Masaki ended up looking like a kid. Ash actually turned out alright, though something seems off. Styx/Cheshire (I didn't draw the horns)... I suppose it was alright for a first try, but heheh, the smile looks kind of unnatural.

(I love them Light!)
"We've got our dragon?!" Isaac asked in surprise over the communications. "Hold on-" There's some shouting, and Isaac mounts his motorcycle once more. "I'm on my way now, the police have it mostly secure, and the national guard is apparently ETA 30 minutes!"
~
13 smiled. Whoever this was, the cat had more experience with magic than he, most likely, to know the exact spell for this moment. He concentrated, and placed his hand against the roof beneath. In just a few moments, light appeared through the floor, in exactly the same rune as the cat had shown him. "Counterspell. This isn't a normal counterspell, is it? This must be of a level I've never even seen." He murmured. "This is why I was brought back, Lyra. This cannot be done by mortals unless they sacrifice themselves." Now, as the spell began to coalesce around him, swirling runes in the air surrounding his form, he shook away his fear. "The one person we can afford to lose. Myself- no one will miss me once I use this."
Lyra bit her lip. No, this is not why she brought him back. She had hoped Zed and 13 would sync up quickly and come up with a plan, but instead, Zed was off to buy time along with the rest of the crew for 13 to send off this Counterspell a cat had given him. What a flurry of moments. And yet, the natural order always had a way of working itself out- 13 was supposed to be dead, and he was an opportunity to make something of it. She'd always hated the Gods, and the mysterious ways they worked.

Hornet ducked an eldrich beam of light, and rolled to the side as a ghoul leaped for her. She was getting tired, and nowhere fast. The longer Night stood there, the stronger his army became. It was like a factory of beasts, a crack in the earth now forming to release even more of his army out. He'd been making pacts, making deals while in the underworld, and was now bringing those to fruition it seemed. He was no longer just the most powerful necromancer in the realm, he was also an incredibly powerful warlock. Whatever evil deities fed him power now were incredible, as was he. Night had never stopped pushing to become stronger, and in this state, was a lesser deity by her estimates. She was only still alive because he hadn't gotten complete control of his abilities. A missile fired from the sky impacted just above Night, blocked by one of his minions throwing themselves in front of the attack. His attention was diverted from Hornet for just a moment to raise his free arm and fire another blast towards Zed.

Maxwell shook his head. "There's no time to look for another way out." But he gladly accepted the hug- it may be the last he got. He closed his eyes, and placed a small kiss on her forehead. "Find me when this is all done, okay?" A few moments later, he suddenly raised Lennox into the air, and threw her with all his might away from the city. Over the hordes and into the suburbia off the highway.

The catβs eyes widened, the green glowing as it slammed itβs right front paw onto the rune, drawing the magic away from 13, into itβs own body. A strange echo, a whisper started filling the air, βChaos is order all on itβs own, 13. You being dead doesnβt fix the order, it only tip the balance in Nightβs favor.β It whispered, almost voiceless, a whisper tickling in his mind.
βNo one has to die,β it added, green eyes glowing as it looked back at him, almost pleading, βEnix, she still searches for you, she hasnβt given you up. You must find her,β the strange thoughts commented, βPlease. I donβt want to see you die again. I just need a way to show you, to speak to you. Use the spell to power yourself, but not so much youβll kill yourself.β It instructed.
Lennox screamed out, hand outstretched towards him, as waves of noise washes away from her, her voice, powerful too. Still, it did no good for her in the end, she was gone, as Maxwell wished.

(Thanks! ^^ I'll miss you all too.)
Alarms blared within his suit and Zed spun out of the way before the magic blast could strike. It seemed his presence was known, but it was only to be expected. It would've happened sooner or later. Something on his shoulders lifted and flashed brightly as he rapid shot bullets towards Night. As he counter-attacked, he flew a wide circle around Night. It also seemed that his earlier assumption had been correct. Hornet was in fact here. He grinned behind his mask.

(Thanks! ^^ Wish I could've done more, but I keep losing muse. ;w;)
(I'm excited to pick up writing though. ^^ There's been a story idea I've been wanting to build upon for the last while. I can also work on my grammar and writing skills. ^^)

(It doesn't have anything to do with the characters here, but if you're curious... XD) (It starts with a girl who knows little and seems to have no skills. She ends up travelling across the world seeking a legendary Someone so she can find a purpose or meaning in life. On her way, she comes across several unique people who join her on her adventure. I might try making a comic about it. :3)

sorry it took me so long to post)
"Is that what this whole thing is called? The Death?" Ash asked "But is your friend even gonna acknowledge that I'm here to help?" He asked as he clawed a ghoul that had gotten too close to him
(starting to look like a bunch of cultists lol)
Lydia turned to Olga "You should probably get inside and make sure anyone that is still in there is out here ready to fight other than Rosie" she said before she turned to looked down the street. She narrowed her eyes and saw Ollie coming towards them. She noticed that he was alone which was odd considering he had gone out to find a new teammate. Lydia figured that the newbie may be out trying to figure out what was going on or fighting something already. "What the hell is going on Ollie?" She asked
