(I could see Ress offering to build it for him? If you want to RP that out :3.)
Lotus frowned, her green eyes wide for a moment, before they lowered. Her gaze pointedly focused on the ground.
The new figure stepped closer, the figure was tall, pale like Lotus, but much taller. Had black hair, and piercing grey eyes beneath a domino mask and cloak. His gaze was directed at the hero, pointedly annoyed.
Lotus sighed, โSalve, Orion.โ She greeted, the Latin slipping off her tongue similar to her psionic magic spells.
The figure, Orion smirked darkly at Freak, โSalvete, flore.โ The nickname, โflowerโ was also an easy one to understand, for her anyways. His gaze turned back to Freak though, harsh, โHow do we know youโre not the villain, that youโre not lying?โ He questioned, smirking from behind Lotus once more. โWe donโt tend to trust people, not with our powers, right Lotus?โ
Lotus frowned, seeming uneasy, โYeah,โ she agreed softly, turning away, โRight.โ

Karma knew that they were starting to irritate the 'kid', and they actually took pleasure in doing so. It was dangerous. They had a feeling that this person possessed some kind of power, and without knowing what that was, the situation could have easily ended a lot worse. But this? This was the last thing Karma was expecting. Sigh. I'll have to search through my dream journal later, see if I recorded anything like this happening. The teen thought bitterly. What good was seeing into the future, if one didn't stay on top of things and keep those special dreams organized and reviewed? "Oh, joy... So, this is how you repay my kindness, eh?" Karma cocked their head, glaring up at Pip from behind the smiling mask with arms crossed. "Just keep in mind that they don't call me Karma for nothing... What goes around, comes around. I promise you that one." Inwardly, Karma was trying very hard to keep up the act of bravado and not give into the panic building and rising in their chest. This was bad. Very bad.

Freak returned the glare, anger slowly building in his chest at this... 'Orion'. He and the others were probably responsible for Holly losing her memories, and no doubt the cause of her turning evil. "Heroes care about people and wanna save them. Villains only care about themselves and wanna destroy things. If you don't know which I am, then watch the news." He retorted as he took a tentative step back, unwilling to challenge both of them entirely on his own, and not wanting to risk harming 'Lotus'. Both eyes had returned to their original cobalt blue coloration.

Orion hummed softly, โWith our power? With what weโve gone through? The world, these people, deserve to cower down to us.โ He commanded, smirking at Freak. โShe May have been a dream once upon a time, but I have always been a nightmare.
A Freakโs eyes shifted in color, Orion and Lotus raised their heads, both of their eyes turning inky black in the sclera, with their respective eye colors filling in the pupils. Lotus smiled darkly, turning around and taking a running jump off the building, green magic lighting up at her shoulders to create wispy little wings, leaving Orion to Freak.

Freak suppressed a shiver. It wasn't just the words, but the cold, dark feeling creeping from them. There was no doubt in his mind that these people would do exactly what they said they would. Unless someone stopped them. He winced as Lotus flung herself from the building, and frowned at the sudden appearance of glowing green magical wings sprouting from her back a split second or two later. Nervously, his attention turned back to Orion, debating what to do now.

Orion snickered slightly, watching as she left, before turning back. โShe wonโt be Nightโs subject for long, Alright?โ He said, almost softly. His gaze turned troubled, โIf I had known who it was that Night had done this to, I would not have freed him. Iโve been searching for her for a long while.โ

Freak was equal parts surprised, disturbed and relieved by that statement. Was 'Orion' not in league with them, then? The shock and confusion was evident in his features. "Can you tell me what's going on here, and how I can help her?" He wasn't sure he'd get a straight answer, or cooperation, but it was worth a shot.

Orion smiled, almost secretly. โI canโt tell you a lot, unfortunately,โ he whispered softly, before turning back. He glanced behind Freak, before smirking again, โYou know Daphne and Sunny, I presume. Iโve seen them with you heroes, even in their own little costumes.โ He remarked blandly, rolling his eyes, โAnd the princess, sheโs with you too, huh?โ He then glanced back, ignoring Freak for the most part, โSo, tell me, is Stella with you guys, or am I right about who Lotus really is?โ
(He knows the family. And the kingdom oh yay.)

(I can't remember clearly, but I'm going to assume that Freak knows who Stella and Sunny are by now. I can't remember if he knows about the princess part though, or if she's still with the team. Ugh, it's been so long since I was active here... Trying to remember everything.)
Freak wasn't all that surprised that Orion couldn't tell him much, but he was grateful nonetheless. He nodded to the part before Orion's eye roll, but wasn't sure what to say about the princess. "By Stella, you mean Holly, right? That's what we knew her as. We haven't saw her in a while... until now. I recognized the crystals she carries." The hero replied with a saddened frown. His voice was quiet, and his tone somewhere between despondent and contemplative.

(Thanks! Just doing some Grad stuff.) Waro snapped back to the present, and briefly met Hornet's gaze. "I uh..." He needed to think of something quick! His gaze flicked down Hornet's form. "I uh... was wondering if that's the only clothing you have." Whew. It had in fact, been a question he wondered about last night. --- Zed was upon him in a flash. He slapped his hand away, without letting him touch the door handle. "Now what did I just say?" He shook a finger at Isaac. "You have to ask!" Again, he waited. (Grad stuff? High School Graduation or College? I'm finishing my High School grad stuff as well.) Hornet chuckled and dipped her head to sip lightly from the mug. And as she finished and moved to set it upon the table, she replied, "It is. I hadn't exactly been planning on leaving my village after all." She chuckled sadly. "Would you be willing to take me to get some more?" --- Isaac glared, then finally asked. "Please, would you let me in?" The young hero said with an exasperated sigh.

Pip let out a contented sigh, as energy flowed back into her bones. Her power was an odd one. Shrinking things made her younger, while growing things made her older. Either way, there was a limit to the power. She flipped back her hood, revealing brownish skin, short brown hair, and startling yellow golden eyes. She seemed to be around 18 years of age, but unnaturally short and small for her age. She leaned down to stare at the now mouse-sized Karma, taking full advantage of her size. She grew to a more natural size for an 18 year old, filling in the hoodie she wore. "What? Yah mean ya fell fo'ah that little stunt?" she mocked with a laugh, completely unaware that they had known all along. "Karma, heh? Ya know, ya kind o' look cute like that. An' don'tchya worreh about meh. I'd be more worreh'd about yaself." --- (Sure. If you are okay with that. ^^)
The grass swayed gently in the cool caressing breeze. Brilliant rays of sunlight rippled off of the stream that curved around the base of the slope. Peace and calm seemed to resonate in the air. Ollie was smiling, his bronzed face tilted towards the sun. The air tasted good. Fresh; like freedom. A thought occurred to him, and he looked around. He was alone. It would be far more enjoyable if everyone else was here. Sadness settled in. Nerves were on edge at home. His friends were gearing up for battle, and Holly was... gone. He had visited the forgotten realm a couple times in attempt to seek a way to help Holly to no avail. He let his gaze trail to the stream, and froze. He wasn't alone. A tall, slim woman was seated on a rock, overlooking the stream. She wore a long, flowing, dark violet dress that shifted slightly in the wind. Her lustrous black hair pooled from her shoulders, onto the grass beneath the rock. As he stared, his original alarm disappeared, replaced by a strange fascination. He didn't know why, but he felt drawn to her. She was familiar, yet unfamiliar all at once. The green grass whispered beneath his feet, as he moved towards her.
"Hello, my son," she said when he arrived. Her voice was smooth, except for a slight echo on her words. Although he'd never heard the voice before, it felt familiar, as if it was something he'd always known, but forgotten.
"I'm sorry, I believe you've got the wrong person. I... I don't have a mother." As soon as Ollie said it, it sounded strange on his tongue. It must've been part of the memory he lost.
"I am not mistaken." The woman turned to look at him. Her face was white as a sheet, and her eyes were a lighter shade of purple. Her face was soft, as she looked upon Ollie.
"You don't even look like me," Ollie argued feebly. Why was he even arguing? He had a strong feeling that the woman was right.
"Our relation isn't by what you'd consider normal means." The woman smiled, and motioned to an open space on the rock beside her. "Come. Sit."
Ollie sat. His sudden obedience to the stranger's voice astounded him. Unease crept into his chest.
"You've been through so much, my dear Ollie," she lifted a hand and touched Ollie's cheek. Her hand was cold at first and Ollie started to pull away, but his mind grew fuzzy and he forgot why he had wanted to pull back in the first place. Her hand was warm and comforting; the hand of a mother. His mother.
"I haven't been through through as much as they have. You should hear some of their stories," Ollie began.
"Your friends?"
Ollie nodded, solemn. "Especially Holly... I wish I could help them, so they don't have to hurt anymore. So we can all be together agiain. I have to find a way."
"But what about you? What about the pain they put you through?" She asked, brushing her fingers through his curly hair.
The sensation felt good. It made Ollie feel like a child, without the worries of the world, but he refused the oblivion. "Sure, Holly expected me to be someone else, and her ideals may have rubbed off somewhat on the others, but we are over that. Or at least- we were..." Some of the last words she'd said to him came to mind. A pained expression crossed his face. It was quickly replaced by determination. "That's why I have to get her back. So we can set things right once and for all. As friends."
The woman blinked at him. "Don't get me wrong, I think it's wonderful that you want to help your friends. It's just... Ollie, you're too weak."
Too weak? The sentiment rung true in his bones, and Ollie shivered. "I'm trying to get stronger..." he murmured. "I have this ability now. It's creepy, dangerous, and took Holly's memories away, but if I can learn to control it, maybe I can get Holly's memories back. Maybe I can actually protect my friends!"
The woman grinned, pleased with his reply. "I know, and you can. You've been calling me, Ollie."
"But-"
"You may not realize it, but you have." Her hand moved away from his face. She stood up, her body flowing like water with each movement. She took a deep breath and the entire atmosphere seemed to take a breath along with her. Her eyes had taken on a velvet colour, and she extended a hand. "I can give you the power you yearn for, my son. You will be unstoppable!" The last word echoed loudly.
Ollie stared at the extended hand. Unstoppable? He would be able to protect his friends and rescue Holly? It was an offer too good to be true. His hand reached towards hers.
"Ollie!" a voice called from the other side of the stream. The came to a stop at the very edge. "Don't trust her! She only wants to use you! There's another way!" It was Forgotten, the strange twin-like version of himself that had been haunting his dreams for months. For once, Ollie could remember that fact. Ollie pulled his hand back from the woman's. Her eyes flashed a scarlet colour, swerving to glare at Forgotten.
"You hated me as soon as you realized I was there!" she hissed at Forgotten. "You've never given me a real chance. You never wanted me." She flicked her hand in a shooing motion. "In the same way, I don't want you. Be gone, insolent memory!" Forgotten whooshed away in the breeze, his fearful gaze the last thing to wisp away.
"Who- who are you, really?" Ollie stumbled over his words. His head ached. It was difficult to put his words together.
The woman laughed, and brought herself to her full height. "I am Zabyty, and you are my first 'true' son. If you truly seek power, you won't get it from weaklings like him. Find me. Seek me in the forgotten realm. Remember, Ollie, the forgotten realm isn't just a place." She reached forwards, and placed a cold hand on his chest. For some inexplicable reason, he couldn't move away. "It's a part of you." Ollie panicked as he struggled to move away. Suddenly he was falling, her laughter was the only thing he heard as darkness enveloped him.
"I will be waiting..." her voice seemed to whisper in his head.
Ollie sat up in bed with a start. His hazel eyes were wide, and his body was all sweaty. He used his left hand to touch the stump left of what used to be his right arm, and he let out a deep shuddering breath.
(Why do I always get so carried away with things like this. ^^)

Karma gave a huff, though it was probably poorly heard due to the size. "Don't flatter yourself. I knew all along that you were a fake." They spat up at Pip. "Why else would I insist on seeing your mom before giving you any more money? However... I still would have helped you, if you would have just told me the truth." Karma hesitated. "Is this going to wear off?" The teen asked a bit more quietly. If the answer was no... This could be even worse.

(Me too! Highschool grad buddies! ^^ I wish ELA was less essays and more stories. I think my creative writing has decreased over the years. ;w; That's why I need to keep it up on here. Or attempt to.)
Waro folded the newspaper and laid it on the table. He downed his coffee, and let out a contented breath. "I guess we'll have to. Any stores you like in particular?" --- "Why certainly, kind sir," Zed quickly replied with an attempt at an accent, bowing at his waist and grabbing hold of the handle of the door. He opened it, and the door swung inwards. Lights flickered on in the medium sized room, revealing multiple objects concealed by white sheets. There was about five in total; all of them similar in size, though with some variances of shape. He didn't mind showing these. It was the rooms further in, that he was more protective about. Even Waro hadn't seen those ones. --- (Aw! Thanks Chaos! ^^ Ollie appreciates the sentiment. XD I'll reply or continue with him tomorrow. ^^) --- Pip laughed. "Yeah right! Youah justah smartiepants, tryin' ta covah up ya embarrassment." Her laugh faded quickly and she frowned. "But don'tchya get da wrong ideah. I don't need anybodeh's help. I just pretends I do." At his question, a new idea took shape and she grinned. "Naw. Youah stuck like that fo'ever. That is unless ya find meh some persuasion to change ya back." At the word, 'persuasion', Pip rubbed her fingers together. He had said he hadn't had any on hand, but the way he had been talking, she wouldn't be surprised if he had a lot more. Of course, not being able to change back was a lie, but how was the little hero Karma supposed to know that?

"If you don't need my help, then I'll just take back the money." Karma extended a tiny hand toward Pip and focused. Would the power still work while they were so incredibly small? Yes, it did! Had anyone been recording them, there would have been a brief electrical buzzing at the moment the money disappeared. The teen's face matched the mask's grin. "As for that second thing, that's a lie too. That's part of my charm, you know? I can sense when someone is being dishonest with me, and I use it to my advantage." There was a reason the Pottermore website had sorted Karma into the Slytherin house. They were nothing if not cunning and manipulative. "You're also thinking, and wondering right now if I have more money. I do, but you won't be getting your hands on it any time soon." Dread prickled on the back of Karma's neck at that moment, and they decided then and there to make a quick and tactical retreat, just in case 'Pip' decided to try to step on them. If only they had the speed of a mouse, instead of just the size!

Orion blanched, before grinning slightly. โThen I have found the right person.โ He hummed, turning back. โShe wonโt be Nightโs pawn soon enough, she doesnโt need to serve a master, not with her skill, her ability, her psionic magic will only increase in power, and she herself shall never sink to the life of a human,โ he whispered, โShe should work with me instead, but this would only work if it was her choice to do so.โ

Pip stared at their tiny extended hand with an unimpressed expression. She patted her pocket. "As if ya can. I have it safe in mah pocket, right he-" she froze. There was no longer a crinkle in her pocket. She dug into it, searching, but it wasn't there. "Why you-" As Karma continued to speak, her eyes narrowed and her jaw clenched. Every word seemed to add to her growing anger. They seemed to realize their impending danger and had began to flee. Bending low, Pip took a step forwards to catch up, and her hand flashed out in attempt to grab ahold of them.

Ollie pushed his sheets aside and got out of bed. His feet slapped the floor on the way to the bathroom. He set his hand on the side of the sink, and looked into the mirror. His bronzed skin was a shade paler than usual. From the mirror, one word seemed to scream back at him. Weak! He hated that feeling. The feeling that he couldn't do anything. He took a towel, and began patting himself down. It was frustrating how such a simple task was made difficult by the lack of an arm. Fragments of a dream kept flashing through his mind. He reentered his room, and put on some clothes, deep in thought all the while.

Freak paused, then asked something with a great deal of hesitation in his voice. "...and are you planning to destroy everything too? Or are you better than that?" He watched Orion very closely and almost didn't want to know the answer. At least, if Orion didn't feel the same way as this... Night... then maybe Holly -- Lotus? -- might be alright...
Karma could feel the anger billowing down at them, which seemed even more formidable at such a size. They just barely missed the outstretched hand, tripped, skidded into a dented soda can, and got knocked beneath what looked like a dumpster. It was hard to tell. The structure was just large and kind of stinky. When Karma came to their senses again, they let out a frightened yell as a tiger-sized cockroach noisily scuttled right past them. OK, now that's just disgusting... Did Pip see where they went...? Turning, Karma knelt down and warily peered at the space between the dumpster and the ground.

"Answer one thing, and I'll tell you." Freak challenged. "Are you a hero or villain? Or antihero, or... antivillain..." He was starting to confuse himself with all the technical terms. At times he appeared to be a genius. Other times... not so much. Dex thought he knew who Orion was talking about, at any length.

Orion huffed, โI will kill you, and bring you back, and repeat, until you awnser my question.โ Orion threatened, glaring down at Freak. โI donโt need classical terms for what I am. I can, and I will rule this pitiful city, and Earth one day. I am bored of my life thus far, and it will only get more boring as the days and years continue. I want my goals to come true, and together, I will accomplish them.โ
โโโ Ress was rushing around the small base she set up at the home of the Starsongโs, grey-blue eyes narrowed as she skipped through the tables, running across the street to Robin and Arienโs with a package in her arms. A metallic object wrapped in blue cloth. A smile was on her face, but faded as she looked back at the home she abided, a sad one now, with the youngest sibling gone. Kyoko never smiled, and Daphne remained ever silent, Enix acted like nothing had ever happened, ready to kill if she needed to. Cypress blamed herself partly, she was the one who helped Rose at first, forgiven or not, this was on her in some way, or so she felt it was. She blamed herself for Holly taking up a antihero identity as Bastet and Arien as Anubis, but this was worse.
She opened the door, walking up to Robin with a smile, the surprise was for their friend Ollie, after all.
(Surprise?)

"Uh, no need for any of that, thanks... That was a very... villain-esque speech. So much evil. Such scary. Wow." Freak's shoulders slouched in disappointment. He gave his best estimation for when the 'demon' Enthymema disappeared, and then crossed his arms with an indignant glare.

They got away! Her eyes followed their movements, as she stood up again. That's right. Get a taste of what what it's like being the small one. "So yah think you'ah bettah than meh, huh?! I was gonna letchya go, but now- Now ya gonna pay." Pip ground out. Karma seemed to think of her as some needy person who needed help. Not only that, but they wanted her to admit it! She wasn't needy, she was just making a living and have fun along with it, right? There was specific stuff she had to get, and she wanted to be 'independent' in doing so. This was no longer about money. She felt she had to prove to this Karma guy, that she was more capable than they thought. She wanted them to fear her. She wanted them to respect her. Her foot struck the soda can and it clattered away. They must still be hiding beneath that dumpster; that was where she had seen them last. "So ya think ya can hide from meh, huh?" Pip took in a deep breath, and her size began to increase. When she was double the height of the dumpster, she grabbed each edge. With a growling sound in her throat, her muscles tensed, and she tossed the dumptster to one side. Putrid contents spilled out onto the alleyway. She glared down at where she expected Karma to be, silently wishing him to fear her. She began to shrink back to average size, but as she did, she reached down in attempt to trap Karma under cupped hands. She had aged a couple of years, but it was barely noticeable.
