Wind, hearing a knock at the door, quickly walked over and opened the door. He gasped. "Everyone prepare some warm blankets and soup!" He shouted back in, gently picking up the tiny child and rushing back in to the warm fire in the living room.

Lily looked up in shock, her newly found motherly instincts kicking in. She looked to Jay, "Please hold Autumn too." She carefully put Autumn in Jay's other arm and then grabbed a blanket for the child. "Bring her here Wind."

The poor girl was shaking and quaking and had a high fever, she started to cry. "Mommy!" She was shivering and whimpering.

Storm and Winter looked over in shock.
Wind nodded and did so. "She needs medicine. She's burning up and freezing cold."

"Get her some medicine. I'll warm her up." Lily said as she wrapped the girl in the blanket and held her close. "Shhh sweetie. It'll be okay. I've got you."

He nodded and ducked out to get some medicine for the little loner.
Storm walked over and knelt beside his aunt. "Who is she Auntie?"

Lily looked down at Storm, "She's a little girl who needs help." She returned her attention to Diana and rubbed her back gently. "What's your name sweetie?" She murmured gently.

Diana then started to bawl as she remembered her parents. "T..they d..dissapweared. I..I was with them and these m..men came and t..t...took them away,"She cried.

Lily held her close, "Shh sweetie, it's all gonna be okay." She looked to Jay with sad eyes. What can we do to help her? Should we look for her parents? Take her in?

Jay frowned. I saw this story in the news. Random attack, both of her parents found dead. She looks like them now that I think about it. He said sadly. We have to take her in.
Wind came back in with the medicine and gave it to Lily.

Lily rubbed her back, "I'll get you some food as soon as you take this medicine." She murmured softly to Diana. Then we are taking her in. I won't let her end up alone!

Diana pouted but nodded,"O..ok," she said gently and frowned. Her sad eyes looking at her. Her cheeks were noww a rosy pink from the sudden heat.
