'The Flood' Introduction
This Roleplay is set on the coast of British Columbia, Canada. The cats of RippleClan live alongside RainClan, Mountainclan and redclan. for centuries the tides of the beach rippleclan lives beside were low and calm... but after large amounts of global warming, the water of the melting ice caps in the Arctic is causing flooding. the cats must survive the floods and rebuild their home in the caves far higher than the shores...
Rules
-No human swearing
-no godmoding
-litters have a maximum of 4 kits to avoid too many useless characters
-please follow the general forum rules and be appropriate
-be kind and respectful
-before killing a character you must have the owners consent
-moderately realistic, especially with genetics... if you need help with litters and genetic accuracy you can ask me, or use this calculator
-if making any major decisions that affect the entire roleplay please contact me
-please keep names of cats accurate to the province of British Columbia, please.
-cats may have multiple mates, just like in the first series of warriors
Setting
RippleClan's camp found is on top of rocks of which have been carved by waves for centuries. the rocks then lead to the normal levelled terrain of which leads to other camps. the shore is mainly full of smooth pebbles and sand, the water is full of animals like orcas, crabs, porpoise, otters, whales, halibut, salmon and so on. the wildlife consists of animals like bears, racoons, beavers, geese, coyotes, birds of prey, cougars and other big cats, seabirds, deer and moose and so on. A vast array of red wood trees scatters the land. T
The Leaders den is found inback of a waterfall that flows down to the beach into a pool. Inback of the small waterfall is a hollowed out area surrounded by rock.
The Medicine Cat den is in a small cave in the rocks, with tree roots acting like walls leading down to the shore.
The Warriors Den is an area where four trees grew close together from the shore, growing tall enough to act as a wall for the den, and the canopy of the trees blocking out any rain.
The apprentices den is a small, yet doable area surrounded by shrubs, small trees and foliage.
The elders den is in a large redwood log that has hollowed out.
The nursery is similar to that of the Medicine Cat den,
MountainClans camp sits inside a mountain, just beside a redwood forest. they tend to hunt birds like hawks and so forth by working together. one of the unique aspects about them is they have managed to communicate and retain peace with most Cougars of the mountains, but not ALL of them sadly.
The Leaders den is in a large cave where rock created a space for the leader to sleep in.
The Medicine Cat Den is extremely similar to the Leaders den, except more spacious but more of a tunnel.
The Warriors den is in the wall of the mountain, but carved out by ancient waters.
The apprentices den is the same as the warriors den.
The nursery is built from bracken, branches, brambles and so on. It is more on the base of the mountain that connects to the soft ground.
The elders den is the same concept as the medicine cat den.
RedClan is named after Redwood, an ancient cat who was extremely skilled at climbing the redwoods of their home. RedClan's dens are found in the ground, covered by redwood roots acting like a ceiling and walls for their dens. they are skilled at climbing the trees to catch squirrels, birds and so on. One of their tactics is to corner squirrels in trees and push them off the branches, causing them to fall to their death rather than risking the chance of slipping while swatting at their prey.
The Leaders den is a large redwood that has been hollowed out with a tree growing near it[Like seen in the picture below]
The Medicine cat den is a smaller redwood tree, similar to the leaders den that is hollow, brambles were places by the cats to create more of a shelter.
The warriors den is found ontop of a redwood tree that fell, and decayed. Another redwood tree grew beside it and its roots being so big acted as a ceiling that covered the tunnel that the warriors den is in.
The nursery is a large redwood log that fell over countless moon prior, and hollowed out.
The Elders den os the same as the warriors den.
RainClan's camp is found in the Rainforests of British COlumbia. They mainly hunt cranes, ducks, different reptiles and amphibians, One of their biggest advantages is that they barely go thirsty in new-leaf!
The warriors den is beneath the moss, roots and logs of the rainforest, creating a shelter for the warriors.
The apprentices den is in a burrow like area covered with moth and tree roots.
The nursery is extremely similar to the leaders den except more spacious.
The elders den is similar to the apprentices den.
