I miss my old friend, but at the same time I don't. I considered her to be my best friend. We had a ton in common and we would talk and laugh all day every day. But over time a lot of stuff happened and I realized she wasn't a true friend. I haven't talked to her in several years and I just started thinking about her the other day. I kind of miss her and I sometimes wonder about reaching out to her, but I bet she wouldn't even respond.

You should try, even if she doesn't respond. If she's a good friend, she probably will. I know (too well) about those friends who you're really close to and then they completely change :/.

I don't have her number anymore and I don't have social media, so even if I did want to talk to her I couldn't.

if she wasn't "a true friend," it's probably not worth it tbh

Oh I can totally relate. I had a friend in college who I swear was my soulmate, we had so much in common and we were literally attached at the hip for two years. She then got in a relationship and dropped all of her friends, including me.
It hurts but you gotta move on ya feel
