Yeah, dysphoria is just. Garbage. But at least you have the comfort of being actually allowed to go on hormones. My family's been physically barring me from doing anything for years.

would insurance b able to cover (part of) it due to gender dysphoria being an actual illness?
like yeah the american healthcare system sucks so i don't have a lot of faith in it helping you but. maybe on the off chance it will help you financially? idk

I know a guy who did get surgery And I want to say he paid like 8 thousand out of pocket???? But I'm not sure. And like I have decent insurance but they're not going to cover a lot of it. They barely cover anything on my t lol. And even still it's going to take like 6 months probably to get appointments, go to therapy, get a letter, send that into the worst organization on the planet earth, them send that to the surgeon, get another appointment, and then finally set a date for surgery.

My family's been physically barring me from doing anything for years. pls don't be like this. I beg you. I waited until I was 18 to even come out to myself. And at that point I was able to get my own doctor's appointments because I was a legal adult. I went to the doctor and therapy mostly behind my parents' backs aha. Also hormones doesn't make dysphoria go away i hate to break it to you. So yes I know that I seem to be super awesomely lucky that I'm on T but honestly my life still sucks and my dysphoria is through the roof so. Pls.
