We got a lot of new covers at once, so figuring out who's who is a tricky ordeal.
I really want to figure out which cat is on each book, so it would be great if you guys could help me figure it out.
Here's what I have worked out so far.
The Prophecies Begin

I felt like Sunrise could've been Sol (again) or Leafpool? Idk the sunlight makes it harder to perceive.

I think Firestar or Squirrelflight is on the cover of Sunset. Leafpool is on Twilight.
Maybe Crowfeather is on Starlight, they just got his design horribly wrong.
Sign of the Moon could be Jayfeather. I don't really know.

Yet Firestar went from a ginger tabby to a darker orange tabby. He also should be marked as a different character in that regard. But, due to both his importance in the last hope and his feature on the last cover, we can all deduct that it's him. Hollyleaf was on the last version of Sunrise and she was the most important character in the book.

The cat on the cover of Sign of the Moon seemed to have a brown pelt and thin, dark blue eyes. I don't think it's Jayfeather. In fact I can only assume Stoneteller because those thins are reminiscent to the thin eyes of the original cover for SotM. Maybe they made an error in the design.

The issue with a lot of the new covers is that the lighting distorts the pelt color heavily, so unless you have a hint on the harsh color covers, it's hard to tell.
Take The Apprentice's Quest, for example. The lighting in the picture completely distorts every cat's pelt color- even though we know that the cat up front is Alderpaw, we can barely distinguish his color from the cat behind him- who could be either Needlepaw or Sparkpaw, because the entire image is tinted a golden/light brown color, making both cats appear as brown tabbies.
The cover of Eclipse could be showcasing literally any tabby cat with green eyes, due to the lighting. That cat could be gray, brown, or literally the dark ginger color he's being presented as. Although, probably not Sol. It doesn't match his description in the slightest.
The Sign of the Moon cover has yellow lighting on it, making the cat on the cover look like a brown tabby when it isn't- in the same way it made Alderpaw mistakenly look like a brown tabby on The Apprentice's Quest. So I also believe this cat to be Jay's Wing.
All I can say about Sunrise is "Artists make mistakes." Hollyleaf could have easily been given a white muzzle that a cat used as a reference had or something. There's just nobody else that cat could reasonably be.

I went through the allegiances, and Onestar could be the cat on Eclipse. He's a tabby, and he's important to the plot of the book, so it makes sense.

I thought Path of Stars might be Windstar or Slash. The cat on the cover looks brown, not gray.

The cat on the front of Dark River is Heathertail, definitely. You can see by her description and image.
