hey guys
I just got off work and got home (its 1 am where I am)
I literally bought a huge donut, a turkey sandwich, chips, a bag of sour patch kids, and a mountain dew. crushed them all. and I am still hungry. which is weird bc I usually eat one bite and am stuffed ...
also I miss the bf. haven't talked to him properly in about 48 hours. I haaaaaaaaaaaate the military for that ;-;
lastly, my kitten keeps trying to pounce on my fingers as I type and just rammed her head into the screen :c

it was a very long day. I was supposed to be in at noon, except I didn't know I worked today. so I got there at 1:15. I was supposed to get off at nine, and of course when you're a server, that never really happens. I ended up getting off around 12:30.
I am a waitress at a Dave and Buster's (it is very hectic). I am going to switch to bartending when I turn 21, and only do it Monday-Wednesday because ill be doing hair thursday-sunday c:
thank you, I have tomorrow off, so he'll probably call me for an hour or so. he's 8000 miles away in japan, and my heart aches. I feel so alone without him.
my baby kitty is so sweet. she is so so funny. we have a 17 pound cat as well, and she will run up behind him and pin his tail and he'll hiss at her. she'll bounce away then do it again five minutes later

Ferntail she is nine weeks old! I rescued her from a shelter, and just spent about $200 to make sure she had all vaccines, to get rid of some fleas, and to expel a tapeworm. she is finally gaining some weight which is fantastic. she never bites or claws, and is the absolute most angelic thing. I will post a picture.

Ah! I'm sorry! I get that feeling of being there for longer than you are scheduled! It's rough, but it'll pay off in the end! Waiting sounds hectic, there's no way I could see myself doing that! Bartending sounds a bit better, so hopefully that'll work out for you in the end! c: Sounds like quite the plan!
I'm glad you have tomorrow off and can talk with him! That's super long distance and I'm so so sorry! My heart hurts for you -- again, I could not see myself doing that, so a HUGE props to you for enduring! Parting must have been such sorrow, but being reunited will be so so sweet!

waiting is the hardest job I have ever had. honestly. not to mention 75% of our clientele are ratchet and do not tip. people do not understand that waitstaff make $2.13 an hour, and we tip out 2% of our SALES, not our tips. I once had to tip out from my own pocket!
i'm glad too, thank you. I love him. and hes gorgeous. it is worth it.

yeah but on the weekends I make pretty good money. on week days.. it isn't even worth coming in. today was an exception. our midway (gameroom eating area) was closed so EVERYONE had to come to the dining room or sports lounge, and I was the only waitress in the dining room all day. at one point, I had 9 tables and-AND a party of twelve. the twelve top tipped me $10 on a $200 bill -_-
she IS adorable until she starts chewing my computer cord or climbing up my mattress with her teeny little claws

Well, that's much less adorable! haha trust me, it is common for me to give excellent service and get tipped nothing. ive even twice been given not enough money for the bill and not noticed until they were gone. the people that come in are horrible... and its crazy because they'll spend $100 on game cards or $100 on alcohol, but they won't tip decently? I wish people understood that our tip out is based on our sales. if I sell $1000 I have to tip out $20. so if every person that comes in thinks "well, she'll get other tips so forget it," or whatever trash mindset they have, I could go home with less than minimum wage OR nothing. ive gone home with $5 on a Tuesday before. she is finally calming down I believe. crazy little nugget |

Ugh, I wish people knew that when they go to restaurants. One of my best friends was a waiter and he always tipped over the top when we went out because he understood. And even when I have bad wait staff, I try to tip at least 15-20% because it's not an easy job. I get it - in a different sense, but I get it! It's so so hard.

it is way harder than I ever thought it would be!
and nope! she is wide awake! she slept all day while I was at work. I played with her when I got home to try to tire her out but that only worked for about ten minutes cx she keeps wanting to attack my fingers and stuff. I threw her onto the other side of the bed, and she bounced back over. she is laying on my tummy now purring away.

I have 3 cats, all rescues, but only one lives with me. George, 17, lives with my mom. Kraken, 4, lives with my grandma. and paige lives with me. George is too old to be alone all day which is why he is in the care of someone who has the ability to work from home. Kraken is a monster, like his name, and too destructive to have in a rental. plus he's lived with my grandma for about a year now and she wont give him back :-( and little paige Nicole is my little babygirl. c: yall tell me something interesting. I feel like ive been typing a crap ton

Hmmm... What to tell you... Well... I'm currently really stressed out and apparently when that happens, I come back to the forums - for better or for worse. And I have a long day tomorrow where I've gotta work at my mom's office to train someone and then go back to the pool to close...
