Mentioned some of these before, but I'll start. Listing a few only, but will probably add more later.
x That feel when the plot's going nowhere, but you don't want to have to resort to cheap drama to get everything going again and apparently, neither does the other person/people in the thread so you all just sit there being really bored yet not wanting to say anything about it for fear that you might be judged. This gets so old after a while.
x Near everyone always creates the same type of plot in those "looking for a roleplay partner for plotting" threads, and the worst part is that you'd think that someone, somewhere would stop and notice that they didn't have to keep creating new advertisement topics because this kind of content takes up over half the roleplay sections and why aren't these people just talking to each other instead of constantly making new RP threads that feature the same exact thing over and over again. Lack of diversity in threads hurts
x You find a really good, active group RP that you're super interested in, but when you ask it turns out that all the available character slots have already been claimed and the owner isn't planning on adding more space anytime soon, if ever
x Cliques. Oh god, snobby cliques. I swear, it's impossible to RP with most people because of this.
x Not being able to find lasting roleplay partners for some reason
x Cookie-cutter characters annoy me. Like, I get that some characters can act alike, but I don't think that quite literally all of your characters should act 100% the same.
x When people blatantly copy your character ideas or subplot ideas
x When someone joins a RP you head just for the sake of posterity and then is never actually active
x Or, when someone joins an RP, but someone else's lack of activity causes them to become inactive as well
x When you get into a good RP group, but then it dies not long after you join and you don't get a chance to do much of anything with the characters you put into it in that specific setting
x I find it annoying how all these bland Mary-Sues get fawned over in RP groups and get hundreds of romance requests, while the actually well-developed ones get passed over for the most part

when you try to avoid everything people dislike about certain roleplays but find that somethings are inevitably inherent when creating them. especially when you've been doing the same things for years. they're more of a comfort we do out of familiarity anymore. and, at the same time, i hate it when things become too predictable or when those things we dislike become too obvious. if they HAVE to be there, we could at least try and dress them up a bit.
when people complain about post length. more so when they complain about long post lengths. one way or another, roleplaying's a form of self expression and self reflection. so i'm not going to tell you to tone it down if you feel like writing me novels every time you post. i may not match it but so long as we're working together to create a roleplay we both can enjoy, i'm down for anything. i might also be a stickler for needless description so sue me. besides, people create roleplays to fit their own personal preferences. you could do the same or find another out of the bunch that clog our rping threads everyday. there are plenty there that might match your own interests.
when clique becomes synonymous with a group of close friends that really enjoy writing things together. it's not like i have my own outside of one person i don't even know too well BUT WOULD ALSO LOVE TO KNOW BETTER but sometimes these groups are just close knit and well established. i can acknowledge and respect this. my problem is when the same group creates a roleplay open to the public and knowingly abandons new members for their friends. it hurts to be accepted and then promptly ignored.
that feeling you get when you've had a blast rping with someone but then they up and disappear on you and your left wondering what went wrong with the plot.
when you're that someone that up and disappeared and you don't know how to tell them you're exhausted and low on muse. that excuse has become repetitive and, though it's still true, you still feel like garbage for using it again.
WHEN YOU'VE GOT A REALLY KICKBUTT OC IDEA BUT NO PLOT TO USE THEM IN.
when you're bursting with muse and want to write SO BAD but can't because your mind draws a blank as soon as you hop on.
when you're better at planning rps than actually rping them.
that feeling you get when you're not worthy of the person you're rping with. WHY AM I SO HECKING BAD ALL THE TIME. you're all too pure and good for me, i swear.
when you want to have a good rp 'clique' that's open and accepting of new members but you're also not consistent and practice bad roleplaying habits 24/7.
that feeling you get when you have a really great idea but you're stuck wondering if you should save it for an actual book idea or make it a roleplay.
