I'm really iffy on keeping them as pets, I guess it depends what kind of person is keeping them
Most Zoos are very good

I don't even care if you're a biologist or a person with a license. Owning wild animals is a huge no.
As for zoos, it depends on the zoo. A majority of the time, zoos help animals a whole lot and greatly help the endangered and/or injured. But there are terrible zoos out there that'd I'd like to see destroyed.

ehhhhh it depends really. if 'owning' them means keeping them confined in a small cage then no. if they have large amounts of land, are happy and the owner is responsible then i guess it can be sort of okay. i agree with zoos much more though, depending on the zoo. i don't like zoos which keep animals in small enclosures. if they have acres of land then cool but if not then it's wrong imo

if the animal is kept in good conditions and seems happy and healthy, then go ahead

depends on the zoo. ngl the only zoo I know a lot about is the San Diego Zoo bc it was my local zoo before I moved and they did stuff w my AP bio class. they're an establishment I respect a lot especially bc of their work w the frozen zoo and California condors
as for personal ownership, that's a huge no

it depends on the zoo
if it takes excellent care of the animals and actually have a reason to keep them there (ex. if the animal was rescued when young and it can't be sent back, or it's an endangered species) then i'm okay with it.
