For the last five nights I've spend the last two hours each night before I go to bed literally trying to rationalize how a girl can be late to school over 200 times and that school still have enough time for a sports championship that should last at least the better part of three months, after being late that long. Do you know realize I've wasted ten hours of my life on that?
Also, kudos if you know which anime girl I'm talking about.

Nope! It's not InuYasha. I've only heard a little bit about that show though.

Kagome's school in Inuyasha in a nutshell
Girl comes to school maybe once every few months
Her parents keep saying she has some weird illness and is in the hospital every time the school asks
School never checks to see if they're telling the truth
And her best friends don't suspect a thing and never ask how she's doing

the answer is it's anime and anime doesn't make sense.

It gets worse guys... Yesterday I watched the first two episodes... and it's 245 days. Even if you only get weekends off with no other breaks, that gives you about 269 days of school, or 24 days left of school.
That's what happens when you try and exaggerate a characters tardie count in order to make them in danger of being held back. 120 tardies is way more than enough.
