So, I just want to share some WC theories with you.
1: Hollytuft is a reincarnation of Hollyleaf because she didn't walk the right path (like Cinderpelt/heart)
2: Shadowclan will be saved by one of the kits Alderpaw and Needlepaw rescued
3: The next book will be written from Twigkits and/or Violetkits point of view.
You guys got any?

just gonna say that there are no more possessions (because the cinder situation was possession, not reincarnation).

If you don't feel like reading the rest: The shadows mentioned in the AVoS represent an object of the past, the Blazing Star. The flower united the Clans then and it will unite them now ("clear the skies.") ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After remembering a phrase from Avatar: the Last Airbender: "Sometimes the shadows of the past can be felt by the present" - Aang.
This made me think of how the shadows in the AVoS prophecy could represent the past. But what part of the past (shadows) would "clear the skies" If we're correct in speculating that this phrase means that SkyClan is coming to live at the lake, then maybe it's the Blazing Star? The prophecy surrounding it and the flower itself played an important role in the past. So basically I think the shadows are connected to the Blazing Star and that this will serve as an item to remind the Clans of it's significance back then and it's significance now.
I'd also like to mention that it was stated that Blazing Star grows in the mountains and considering the pattern of visiting the Tribe once per series since TNP, this pattern could appear again.
Okay, this part might seem very far-fetched but maybe The Sun Trail can play a role in this. Both in a metaphorical sense and physical sense. Shadows are caused by being between a source of light, like the sun (trail) and a surface. And now that I just keep thinking about this way too much, there were Blazing Stars in ShadowClan's (shadows) old territory. So they could follow The Sun Trail back to the Forest. But the place is destroyed and inevitably the flowers themselves but it's still interesting to think about. Unless maybe Princess/Hattie can conveniently provide some Blazing Star from her Twoleg's garden.

This is just what I think will be confirm later on; a theory. In fact I only assumed the past because of a quote from a completely different franchise.

Theory: As the focus shifts from Firestar to Brambleclaw & Leafpaw with the transition to a new arc, it becomes obvious that most of the younger cats see Firestar as strong, noble and omnipresent - just as he saw Bluestar when he first arrived in the forest. This could only be backed up by being actually omnipresent, meaning that he would never be able to visit Princess. Obviously, when the cats move to the Lake territories, Firestar is never going to see Princess again. Therefore, anything could have hapeeeed to Princess after The Darkest Hour (technically Firestar`s Quest, but as far as I know she doesn`t appear in that at all so...*shrug*), and we will never know because the books are no longer from Firestar`s P.O.V - albeit indirectly.
Also, pertaining to Firestar`s Quest, a nice little Fridge Horror (something terrible about a book/movie/whatever that you only realise after reading/watching/whatevering it) from TV Tropes:
"It's established that dead cats fade away if they aren't remembered. StarClan never seemed all that invested in keeping SkyClan's memory alive. They were knowingly condemning SkyClan's cats to a gradual, total death."

Some minor ones that I had for Thunder and Shadow: Twigkit is tempted to give herself up to ShadowClan as her last resort to lower the tensions between Thunder and Shadow. In the last ShadowClan POV the already-wounded ShadowClan cats are even more scattered/wounded/killed when they have crossed to deep into the outside territory and reached those badgers they've chased out back in BrS. SkyClan cats are convinced that the prophecy means they must embrace the comfort they have found in ShadowClan territory; they claim ShadowClan's territory--and some of them plan to keep it that way. This will bring a rift between them and why the next book will be known as The Shattered Sky.
