Maybe disable the post count going up when a user posts in Forum Games? A lot of people can quickly ascend to high ranks by just repeatedly posting in threads like "Count to 1,000,000". Post ranks are supposed to be achievements; I feel like having the post count increase through Forum Games kind of takes away from the challenge a bit.

Agreed. Forum Games are pretty much Spam, and a lot of other forums I have been a part of make it so the post count doesn't go up from Spam or Game topics.

i put up a poll asking about it a while ago. id prefer not go against the large majority there's no unfair advantage, as some people like to say. the threads are open to everyone. the only one that has a say in whether you post there is you And how long ago was that? So many new people are joining that opinions may have changed. |

The ranks have already been set up so that it'll take quite a bit to reach the highest rank ( a rank far beyond SMBU ), so if that's the concern, then no worries there. Maybe we'll take a revote in the future, but the results from the previous poll were pretty decisive: [ x] Mmk. Sounds good. |
