I currently have a boyfriend, and it's pretty steady. I hope to one day have a family, but want to experience more travel and have a steady income before I think about it.

TBH I'm seriously considering adoption as well/have been for awhile
I'm really not comfortable with the idea of physically birthing any more than 2 children biologically xD So if I'm ever with a partner who wants more kids, I'm putting my foot down and saying we have no choice but to adopt if you want 3+
But I'm kinda advocating for that option in general. Like I think even at 2 kids, I'd like to have one biologically and then also adopt one (not necessarily in that order). I was doing some research on domestic and international adoptions while I was bored at work today though and it does sound like quite a process (but I think with the right timing/partner I'd be fully willing to go through with it).

From my time working with CYFD or CPS, it is best to have a child first then adopt. If you adopt, then have a child, the adopted child will feel less like your child.

Makes sense. Though, in my state, babies are less likely to get adopted and more people want the teens. So, I guess it is where you are.

i kinda need a relationship rn and someone who'll love and care for me no matter what and all that bc this is a tough time in my life and im kinda all alone and that worsens the pain
i plan on adopting one or two kiddos, once my pay is steady and i have a good home for them to stay in, but im doubting ill ever get there

I do plan to get married - I really want to, actually. But finishing college and maintaining a steady paying job absolutely comes first. I am definitely not having kids, haha. Nothing against children in general, they're just not for me. Currently, I'm perfectly content being single; I haven't had a crush on someone in years and have zero interest in getting together with anybody. I'll probably wait until I'm through with high school before pursuing a relationship. There are many other things that are way more important to me than dating right now, and that's probably for the best.

my priorities don't involve dating at all, really. if it happens it happens but if it doesn't I'm perfectly content being single.
and my stance on kids is a no. I don't want biological children and I don't want to raise babies/toddlers. nope. I could see myself fostering or even adopting older children but that's a long way into the future. |
