In Character || Padding over to the river and sitting carefully so his shadow didn't cover the water, he cast his gaze into the icy depths. "I'll carry all that I need to carry," He purred affectionately. "Hopefully I catch so much that me needing help carrying things is the biggest worry we'll have."
Watching the silver shapes of fish below the surface, he raised his forepaw slightly over the surface, claws outstretched. Carpjaw waited patiently for a shape to get close enough to the surface for him to snag. Suddenly, he swiped his paw down into the water, nearly flinching from the cold, and flicked a smooth writhing body from the water. He turned towards it and nipped its back.
"Thank StarClan..." The tom breathed, sniffing at the precious fresh-kill.
