Icewhisker didn't quite hear what the kit said, twitching her whiskers as she lay her head on her paws. She wondered when Hawkstar would have them start moving again, but she didn't complain. She enjoyed the rest.

The mouse scent was a dead end, it led no where. Heatherwing hissed to himself, his stomach growling a little as he continued to search for prey. Spiderpaw wandered away a little and he thought about warning her not to get lost, but decided she would be fine. Besides, spreading out gave them a better chance at finding prey. Spiderpaw had picked up a fresh whiff of another mouse and started to follow it while Eagletalon kept a close eye on her and Heatherwing, not wanting his clanmates to get hurt anymore then the whole clan had already.

Icewhisker's eyes blinked closed and she began to doze off, her tail wrapping loosely around Tawnykit's body.
Sitting around doing nothing was making Swiftpaw anxious, so he convinced his sister to do a little battle practice with him. After doing a few warm up moves, Brookpaw pounced on the black and white tom, knocking him into the snow. He quickly reacted by batting her with his paws.
Hawkstar watched his clan with a blank expression, waiting for the hunting cats to come back. He hoped they found some prey.
Heatherwing hissed to himself, getting frustrated as he continued to sniff around for prey.

It didn't take long for Brookpaw to drop him on his back. Swiftpaw tried to sit up but a firm paw on his chest pushed him back down. He sighed as she hopped off of him. She usually beat him. He got to his paws and shook himself off while Brookpaw noticed Dovepaw watching them. "You want to join us?" she meowed, beckoning her over.

Rainpaw - 10 moons - dark gray skinny tom with a bushy tail and watery yellow eyes. Medicine cat apprentice.
Sunstripe - 22 moons - a lean, long-limbed bright orange tabby tom with bright yellow eyes and a white underbelly.
Lilybee - 12 moons - pretty light brown tabby she-cat with dark green eyes.
Rainpaw sighed softly to himself. He settled down a bit away from his clanmates, burying his nose into his paw as he tried to force himself to relax. He blamed himself for the outbreak of Greencough and his inability to save his clanmates, broken from the many lives he couldn't save. He felt down and defeated, believing Starclan had abandoned them all to suffer. He never voiced these concerns however, just sulked to himself and stayed quiet throughout the journey. He just wished he could find joy in life like he used to. Was becoming a medicine cat apprentice a good decision? Will he be able to handle the burden of his clanmates on his shoulders?
Sunstripe watched the apprentices train a few tail lengths away. He purred in amusement as Brookpaw pinned Swiftpaw down by his chest, "Good job," he called. It was nice to see the apprentices staying active despite what's been happening to the clan.
Meanwhile, Lilybee was busy hunting for the clan. She was a bit away from the clan, stalking a scrawny mouse that was foraging for food. She launched herself at her prey but twisted her paw as she jumped and missed the mouse by a whole tail length. The mouse panicked and fled, leaving Lilybee lying on her side in frustration.

Welcome! ) Swiftpaw shook clumps of snow off his black and white pelt, looking towards Sunstripe with a half smile, but his mood was dampened a little as his stomach growled. He padded away from Brookpaw, done practicing for now.
Brookpaw's tail lifted as she heard Sunstripe. "Thanks!" she meowed, blinking at the ginger warrior. It was nice to forget the clan's troubles for a bit.

Sunstripe watched Swiftpaw pad away, a hint of concern showing in his eyes. "Do you think he's alright?" the lean tabby asked after the apprentice walked off, rising to his paws and approaching Brookpaw slowly. He stopped at her side, settling once more into the cold snow and wrapping his tail around his paws. "I know the sudden decision to move has been a great burden. How are you faring?" He fixed his yellow eyes on her curiously, waiting for her response.

In Character || Carpjaw's golden pelt was dappled with snowflakes. Annoyance flooded him as he stared across the snow-covered expanse. His nose wrinkling at the sight and at the thought of the amount of time it would take to restock on prey and herbs in this sort of weather. Agitated, he fluffed out his tabby fur and trudged his paws in the icy flakes, trying to keep warm. ᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖ Out of Character || Hi there!

| Hey, welcome! |
Lilybee sighed and rose to her paws, shaking snow out of her pelt. A mouse wandering around in the snow in broad daylight, and I missed it!? I can't believe myself. She glared at her paws, ignoring the stinging from her ankle where she twisted it. Her mind was busy racing with thoughts too cluttered to fully understand. How will the clan survive now? We've lost so many cats already. Will we ever find a home? She flattened her ears against her head, flexing her claws. What are we going to do now?
Rainpaw buried his nose deeper into his forelegs, curling up into a tighter ball. The medicine cat apprentice felt defeated, and wanted nothing more than to shut himself out from the rest of the world. His hunger and exhaustion seemed to weigh him down as he slowly sunk into the snow.

In Character || This isn't working... Carpjaw thought resentfully as his paw movement subsided. I'm still frozen to the bone! His viridescent eyes searching over the members of the Clan. How many of us have we lost? His gaze darkened as he continued on this line of thought. How many more of us will we lose? "StarClan save us all," The golden tom hissed to himself. "We really need all the help you could offer." ᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖ Out of Character || Aɪʀ - Thank you!

Lilybee took a deep breath to calm herself. Sulking wasn't going to get the clan fed, after all. She swiveled her ears, trying to listen out for the faintest sound of movement. Nothing, she thought to herself. Sighing, she began to trek back to the momentary campsite, flinching at the pain in her paw. Just great, she thought, the clan doesn't need this right now. She tried her best to hide her limp as she approached Carpjaw, having spotted his golden pelt first. "Any luck with hunting?" she asked the tom. She surveyed the area as she spoke, spotting Rainpaw curled up in he snow a few fox lengths away. I'll see him later, she noted to herself.

Lilybee couldn't hide her disappointment about the lack of fresh-kill. "If it comes down to it, that mouse will be delicious," she sighed woefully. "I hope that doesn't become the case." She perked up a little at the mention of working together, her green eyes gleaming as she met his. "I think so," she mewed, a little more cheerful. "But we'll have to move out pretty far. StarClan knows how long it will take us to find something... but it's worth it if our bellies get fed."

Swiftpaw sighed as he walked several tail lengths away from the group, parting his jaws and scenting the air. He hoped to catch the scent of some prey but got nothing. Glancing over his shoulder at his sister he considered slipping away to hunt, excited at the thought.
Brookpaw looked up at Sunstripe as he joined her, glancing at the other apprentice for a few moments before focusing on him. "He's fine." she told him, twitching her whiskers. "I'm... I'm fine too." she responded, giving her chest fur a few nervous licks. "Of course I miss home, but I'll manage. Being petty and homesick won't be helpful right now, right?" she forced a smile.

An image of Carpjaw falling into the water while trying to fish surfaced in Lilybee's mind, and she stifled a purr of amusement. "Not hard at all," she agreed. She looked around for a bit to decide where to start, finally deciding to go in the direction she'd come. She placed her injured paw into the snow in a rushed gesture and immediately froze as pain shot up her foreleg. She inhaled slowly to taste the frigid air, playing off her mistake rather smoothly. "Let's try this way," she mewed, stepping into the snow lightly and angling her ears forward. "The mouse I missed rain in this direction. Maybe there's more mice, or a water source." The pain in her paw wasn't hard to handle; it was more of a persistent stinging that refused to let her walk the way she'd like than anything excruciating. Still, she didn't want anyone to know she'd twisted it, and planned on keeping her inconvenience quiet until after they returned with mouths full of prey.

Sunstripe kept his unwavering expression fixed on her, her performance unconvincing in the slightest. "There's nothing wrong with missing home," he mewed softly. "It's good that you're staying strong for yourself and the clan, but keeping your thoughts and feelings held up in your chest won't make you feel better." He glanced up at the sky, watching the light snakeflakes drift towards them from the sky. "If either of you ever need to talk, I'm always here."

Lilybee trotted onwards through the snow with Carpjaw close by her side. "Walking icicles? Atleast we'll still be mobile," she purred. Having someone to hunt with was nice. She'd been hunting alone since the start of the journey, and having a partner gave Lilybee warm feelings of home. She glanced sideways at the tom on occasion as they trekked, her eyes narrowed against the cold breeze. "Do you think we'll find it?" she asked after awhile. "A new home, I mean." She glanced at him once more, her voice level and calm. "You may say one thing, but your eyes say another. They seem dark." She stopped speaking for a moment, fixing her eyes forward. "Do you think we'll survive?"
