Seagullfeather Otterfur Pelicanstar & Coralpaw
Seagullfeather sat in the sand, the wind was blowing, bringing in that sea breeze. The tom cat closed his eyes as he took in the scent. It was a scent that was so familiar to him, that he welcomed it every time. He loved everything there was about his home, the smells (more or less), the feeling of the sand on his paws, the crabs. and other creatures they stumble across. The birds that fly up ahead. Especially the cats in his clan. He opened his golden eyes and scanned the horizon. The ocean is surely breathtaking, he could sit here for hours just watching it, at times he sees dolphins jumping, and playing. A thought ran through his mind.. A memory really. One when he brought a lot of the apprentices out this way, and he got to listen to Coralpaw talking about how great it would be to be able to swim in the ocean like the dolphins. The apprentice had a point, what an amazing life that would be, or maybe to be able to fly in the sky like the birds he was named after. With that though the tom looked up to the sky, watching the birds fly over searching for a meal. It hasn't been the first time he had thought of this, though he really had no desire of joining them, he was quite pleased with his life as a cat. Though it was a very intriguing though indeed. The white and black tom's gaze flashed towards the ocean where he saw movement. Squinting his eyes to get a better look of what's ahead. It didn't take very long for him to realize who it was swimming in the water. One of the younger warriors, by the name Otterfur, she swam skillfully across the water. The tom cat watched her for a few minutes, before closing his eyes taking in the warm sun, and the nice breeze. It was truly a nice day out.
Otterfur swam through the water gleefully. She enjoyed swimming in the ocean on a hot day like this one. The she-cat can only take so much heat. Which meant she swam a lot, though she doesn't complain. The dark colored Siamese cat was a natural swimmer. Which surprises most cats who see her. To outsides she looks like a small dainty kitty, who can't get her paws wet. Though truth be told she actually really loves the water. She fixed her bright blue gaze ahead, she doesn't stray far in the water, due to the large natural swimmers in the deeper waters. Hanging close to the shore, but deep enough that her paws don't touch the bottom. Otterfur didn't propel herself quickly, she just let herself float for the most part, but at times she would get a spurt of swimming in. She made her way close to some seagulls whom were just floating on top of the ocean. Though as she grew closer they gave her a weird look, and decided to take of flying away. A cat in the ocean was a weird site to see, though it was happening. Otterfur didn't worry to much about two-legs, most of them don't gain access this way, and if they do they don't stay very long. Which leaves the water open for her, and the rest of the clan. Which was nice, though they do have many troubles with living so close to the ocean. Which one of the biggest things is fresh water. Though the cats have found some streams in the more forested area. Which is where their clan is settled, but most of the time the cats spend their days on the beach close to the ocean.
Pelicanstar sat on a large rock, he laid there sunbathing with his mate. Not to far from the rock he heard giggles from his daughter Coralpaw. The tom looked over to see her chasing after something, which he guess was a crab. She had a tendency to play with them, and they oddly played back. Well until they had enough and snap at her. Which has happened multiple times. The Turkish Van tom cat closed his yellowish green eyes, a soft purr escaped him. He enjoyed days like these. It was one of those days where his clan could hang by the beach if they pleased, though they had to watch young kits, and small apprentices, to make sure they wouldn't go in the water, or taken away from birds. Though for the most part it was peaceful. It was nice to have one of these days once in awhile. He opened his eyes and scanned the area, from this rock he could see most of his clan either sunbathing, swimming, or exploring the beach. There wasn't any cries for help, and he hoped that it stayed that way for the rest of the day. He looked over at his mate whom seemed to be sleeping, he chuckled softly to himself. He wasn't the only one who was tired. He looked at her lovingly. She was his rock, and she has always been there for him, when he needed someone to talk to, or if he needed help. They've always been together, even as apprentices they were close. He was lucky to have her in his life. He licked her ear, causing her to let out a purr. Pelicanstar then looked over at his daughter, and scanned the beach to see if he could see his other children.
Coralpaw giggled softly, she was on a big pursuit of hunting down this crab. It was a smaller one than from earlier. It ran from her, but the she-cat had her ears perked up, and was ready for the hunt. Her orange tail flicked slightly as she chased after it. Like her father she had the Turkish van markings. The oranges ears, and tails. Though she has a little more orange than he does, on her back, and on her head. Her golden eyes glittered with mischief, and excitement as she chased after the crab, who seemed very keen on getting away. Though for the poor thing, it didn't seem like it was going to happen. The small apprentice was right behind it, following it across the beach. She passed Seagullfeather as she chased the crab. Another small set of giggles exploded from the young she-cat. Playing with the crabs on the beach was her favorite thing to do, besides swimming. Though she was not allowed to swim without her mentor, or father. Which she couldn't wait to become a warrior, so she could hunt, and protect her clan, as well as being able to swim by herself. The crab seem to halt, which caused her to halt as well. Tilting her head slightly she watched to see what it does. The crab began to dig it ways down in the sound. Coralpaw let out a squeak of displeasure, that the crab would run away from their game. The she-cat began digging after it, though after a few minutes, she felt a pinch. She let out a squeak, and jumped back. The crab had pinched her, but it let go digging itself deeper in the sound. The Turkish Van she-cat seemed to sit down and pout for a moment, that her new friend was gone, and left her paw stinging for a few moments. Though it wouldn't take long for attention to be directed on something else.

[Feel free to play Pelicanstar's mate, or children, also a mentor for Coralpaw would be great as well!]
