Creedence Clearwater Revival - Effigy: 4/5 The riff in the later part of thing song is super intense, which struck me as odd considering this is a relatively calm song, but I still liked it quite a bit. It sort of gave a headbanging vibe too, weirdly enough. The drums were also appreciably energetic, and the vocals in this song were decent enough. There's not too much to say, because its a pretty solid song with solid instrumentals.

Frankie Lymon + The Teenagers - Why Do Fools Fall In Love: 3.5/5 The lyrics in this song are pretty simple, but very effective when combined with the super powerful vocals. The skippy drums and and some sort off bass instrument in the back also give the song a bit of thump, which is nice considering the low-quality production in the high end. That's not really something I can criticize though, considering the age of the song. The song doesn't develop too much, but that's alright since it's relatively short and sweet anyway.

Jamiroquai - Virtual Insanity: 4/5 The little details in this song make it a super interesting listen. The strange instruments during the chorus, as well as the other backing orchestra type instruments give a cheeky feeling to the song. Not to mention the bass is very technical, as it sort of does its own mini piece throughout the song yet somehow fits perfectly with the rest of the instruments. The vocals are the only thing I didn't care for much, but its not bad by any means.

The Big Moon - Your Light: 2/5 The song started off with some relatively interesting instrumentation, but it took way long for it to develop into something different. The same riff just got louder, until the end of the song where the main focus of the song finally shifted to something else. The drumming also took some time to develop, which is unfortunate, because I really like the tones and transitions they used near the end of the song. The vocals aren't bad at all, but they don't fully redeem the song from dragging on in the middle.

{Rate me ive been told my voice is the furthest thing from music jkjk
Divided By Friday - Relapse: 2.5/5 My first impression of this song was that it sounded extremely late 2000s-ish, and I guess I was close based on the song's release date. It has that extremely distinct style of singing which that's indicative of the era, as well as instrumentation that (imo) exploded around that time. Since its a product of it's era, I can't ding too many points off of it, but it does have a few flaws, like the fact that the instrumentation is overly compressed. The vocals are alright, but they don't seem too interesting to me. The song is catchy being 100% honest, but it could just be nostalgia.
