I know you criticized Creature Feature on your old thread for heavy spooky synth but I feel like that's exactly what sets them apart. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh boy! Time to pick something completely random from one of my playlists.
Mother Mother - Problems: 4/5 Its a pretty cool song actually. I was a little thrown off by the chorus a little since its structurally different from other songs, but I found it to be nice by the end of the song. The vocal effects with the two singers (I think?) also add a lot to the song, and the bass is really fun to listen to.

WHISTLING Acoustic Cover of Edge of Dawn: 3/5 I don't find any particular faults with this song, but I don't find anything too spectacular about it. I think its a situational song where the mood needs to align with yours just right to have a big impact. That being said, the dude's whistling is really strong.

Creature Feature - Carpe Demon: 4/5 I think this song makes better use of the synth than the previous, mainly because I think the atmosphere matches much better. The vocal effect the singer has on his voice really works for his tone, and I like the somewhat """tragic""" feeling I get when his sings. However I still think the guitars/guitar synth is a little too muted.

Breaking Benjamin - Tourniquet: 2/5 Dang, for a second I thought they made a cover of Marilyn Manson's tourniquet and I got excited. Anyway though, I really think the mixing of this song is not very good. All I can discern most of the time are distastefully auto tuned vocals, dulled guitars and drums. It falls into the trap of trying to be loud but sacrificing the clarity of instruments (bass and guitar especially). I don't think this song is genuinely bad though, it would be much better live.

Yea, Joe’s whistling is strong. But he’s got to retain his followers’ attention, as the future leader of the Lester alliance. (Fire emblem joke)
Alright, let’s try this again. Round two, following the opening act, into the first quarter we go.

Myroom Records- The Whiskey Drinking Lawyer: 2.5/5 I literally have the same reason as the previous song to give this a 2.5. There's no glaring problems but at the same time, I really can't feel a mood or a sense of emotion with this song. I guess it does sound cheery, but a lot of cheery songs tend to sound like they're from an infomercial, which this one sort of falls under. Still though, I think the song has merit.

Warduna - Tyr: 3.5/5 As someone who doesn't listen to much ambient music, this was a little hard to get into, but I can appreciate the tone and mood of the song. The primal drum beats REALLY made it for me, and the bit of the aggression near the end of the song gave it a really interesting feel. I think what mainly put me off was the lack of structure, but that's strictly personal taste.

I hope the spotify link is okay? feel free to roast me its ok Lucy Spraggan - Last Night (Beer Fear): 3.5/5 I found the lyrics really amusing, especially the "oh wait, they're handcuffs". The song to me is more comedic/slice-of-life-ish to me, so I didn't try to delve into it deeper than face value. The instrumentation was also pretty sparse, which gave it a more of a casual listening tone as well. Viewing this like a spoken word piece, its cheeky and fun despite how bare it is as a song.
