build a bear had those giant yellow bulky computers with rubber keyboards you'd fill out information and they would print you a certificate with an ad to the old bearville site on it it was always being used by some jerk kid who was playing bearville on it rIGHT THERE IN THE STORE those kids man,,, they were the future

they don't have those anymore? eh i thought so anyway, the computers where mine was were these giant ibm things slower than tree gum. they've changed those out at least at the location around here with some sleeker model that DON'T HAVE THE RUBBER KEYBOARDS :///

I don't think I remember these? I had 2 build a bears back in the day but no one ever told me about the online part
That being said I might be so ancient I surpass the demographic that would've used it lol

Ohhh ok! I've never seen them but that being said we only had knock off versions of build a bear here in Canada when I made mine. I think we got our first "real" one in like 2010 and by then I was starting high school and it was "socially unacceptable"
(TBH I kinda want to go back to build a bear on either a big trip with friends or on a date and make another one lol to heck with these societal expectations)
