OoC :: Heh.
IC :: He tilted his head in curiosity focusing on the foods she mentioned. He was content with thinking that people were just staring at them because they were new to the village. So, Jack said, "Oh! I've tried fish before, actually had to fish at a point in time for food- it's not that easy to do. The pig scent seems kinda familiar, but less so than the fish- and there's another one I recognize just a bit. Have you ever tried fish? They are really slimy, but I kinda liked it."

IC: Red quickly nodded, but then squeezed her eyes shut for a moment as she remembered that didn't work, so she added a loud "mhmm" so he could hear it. "Oh yes of course! I love fish! We have it pretty often, cause dad's a pretty good fisher. I think though it's just cause he's so too lazy to try and catch things like mice and rodents," she said with a chuckle as she heard her father scoff at her words. He vocally disagreed with that statement, but if he was honest that actually was the reason why he preferred it. Fish were hard enough, but at least they were in the stream and he could see it clearly, but small ground animals like mice were nearly impossible for him to actually catch.

IC :: "Really?" Jack said with a grin, giving a small laugh. Not to mention, Kar seemed really big from what Jack could gather, so him hunting small animals would be pretty difficult. "Have you ever tried to catch something Red? Fish or rodent or anything else that is," he asked tilting his head to the side.

IC: Red made an 'Eh' noise and nodded. "Well...I've tried, I'm just not very good," she said with a small huff of amusement, though her eyes widened and she quickly spoke again. "I'm not useless though! I have caught things! Mostly fish but some other things too," she clarified. She didn't want Jack to think she was useless. She knew he wouldn't have thought that anyway but she for some reason wanted to clarify that she could still catch food if she needed to.

IC :: Jack laughed at her defensive words. "Well, I could teach you- I mean, despite me being blind, I can still go after forest animals easily. I'm small enough and have an acute sense of smell and hearing I don't need to see- it's just uh.... I occasionally run into trees when trying..." He offered before trailing off quietly with the last sentence. He shouldn't have added hat in, but oh well. Too late.

IC: Red smiled and happily nodded, though again she had to remind herself that he didn't see it. "Ooh yes I think that would be fun to learn from you!" She said excitedly, bouncing her front paws on her father's back, which made a slight pattering noise. It was sort of her version of clapping, seeing as her paws did not allow her to actually clap. At least not very well. His last comment though made her giggle and she shrugged. "Well everyone makes mistakes! I've run into trees a few times," she said quieter, as though it was more like a secret. It was true, even if it only happened a couple times. She would be so focused on the creature that she was chasing that she'd hardly notice when it disappeared down a hole in the tree roots, making her run straight into the tree.

IC :: "Yeah... Heh, hopefully I can also teach you how to avoid doing that... though I can't say I'll be the best at that," Jack laughed out with a nervous smile. It was partially reassuring to know it wasn't just him, but he figures it was different when she ran into them. He just had to get better used to the surroundings and he was good, otherwise he simply wouldn't see the trees there and knock into them. It was painful really. "So, you two also moved around a lot, right?" He was reminded as he thought about getting used to one place at a time, however, if he stayed with them it seemed he wouldn't really get the chance to do that with anywhere. He'd be a blind dragon likely needing help everywhere he went, it kinda sucked.

IC: Red saw the nervous looking smile and wanted to send him a reassuring one but...instead she just decided to say nothing and pretend that she hadn't even seen it. At his question she just sort of shuffled and shrugged, this time pressing onto his side so he could at least feel the shrug. "Well, we did do a lot of traveling, and we might still, but we are trying to find a place to live permanently. Dad tells me that he has a place in mind around this area that he loved when he came last, so we might be settling very soon," she explained excitedly. Kar had set out for this place not too long, about 2 years actually after Red was hatched. The reason it took so long to get there was because they were sort of on the other side of the continent, which it alone is about the size of Earth if it was flattened out. They were on a very large planet.

IC :: "Wow, well, at least that itself is interesting!" Jack didn't know what to say to that though. He wasn't sure once they settled if he could or should stay with them, or go off on his own to explore... to the best of his ability that is. He shuffled his wings a little bit, unsure, but decided not to. He'd cross that bridge when he came to it- or if his fears were right, accidentally burn the bridge instead. Oh well, not to be concerned right now. They were after medicine now. "So, are we close to getting what we need?"

IC: Honestly Red wants him to stay. She liked him, and she wanted to ask her father if he could come, but she knew that it was really up to him in the end, not her or her father so she decided not to really say anything. At least not right now. When he asked the question she actually started paying attention again, and she realised that they were already there. "Um yes actually. Dad's just paid for it," she said cheerfully and Kar nodded. "Mmhmm, and I was just wondering if either of you two would like anything?" He asked. Red just looked at Jack. She didn't really want anything. She didn't even know what she would want if she had to choose something.

IC :: Jack looked downwards with a small blush, right, he felt a little silly asking that now. He could have been paying more attention, and listening- but he got a little distracted instead. Though he would be willing to use his disability in this case as a cover- not like he actually did that though, obviously. He shook his head lightly, still embarrassed, but quietly mumbled, "Uh, nothing for me, I think."

IC: Red nodded slightly to Jack's response, sort of expecting it, even if she didn't know him that well at all. He then looked down at her father and shook her own head. "I don't want anything either," she said and Kar just shrugged and nodded. "Well, okay then. Should we head over to find our place to stay?" He asked them and Red bounced up and down, nodding vigorously. Though she didn't actually say anything, Kar could tell her answer from her bouncing on his back.

IC :: Jack nodded lightly, unsure whether or not he should give some form of answer. He chuckled a bit though at the movements beside him. Red seemed enthusiastic to see her and Kar's new place. Though he could... somewhat understand the excitement of a new place that they would stay. The two had traveled for such a long time already, meanwhile Jack had lived in one place and only recently had to find a new home. It was an odd situation and Jack didn't know if he could survive on his own though as he was blind and relatively useless to anyone and everyone, as people had told him in the past.

OOC: Hey don't worry about it Creamy! I'm really poofy too!
IC: It wasn't very long until they had gotten back to the forest and started toward the place they were looking for before they bumped into Jack. They were relatively close by now, and Red had been laying down on her father's back, up against Jack lightly, using the excuse that she was doing it to keep Jack steady and so he knew she was just there. Well to be fair it was part of the reason, just not all of it either.

IC :: "So, are there different types of dragons? Or just one complete species we are all apart of? And do drains have their own culture?" Jack started asking questions a while back, and was continuing to do so in pure curiosity. He hadn't known much about how dragons actually acted in the wild until he met them. And even then he still didn't fully know. So any information he could get from the two would be absolutely worth it in Jack's opinion.

IC: So far Red had been leaving the questions to her father because she really didn't know the answers and he had so slouch more experience then her. "Well there are lots of different types of dragons, and just about every dragon looks different to the last, though some things can be passed down through a family, for example the royal dragon family all have two gold clacked under their eyes. Though that being said, we all boil down into one of two main species. Dragons like us and wyverns. Dragons have four feet and most of the times wings as well, where as wyverns only have two feet and two wings," he explained, going into as much depth as he could for him. "As far as culture we're a lot like humans. There are certain religions and groups, but we all mostly believe in the same concept of heaven and hell."

IC :: "Oh, right.... I've heard about heaven and hell from the humans at the camp- where I used to live, that is. But just bits and pieces of it- if you're good you get sent to heaven and if you are bad you go down under, right?" Jack asked. Though, other bits and pieces of what Kar was saying intrigued him. There were royal dragons- wyverns were a type of creature that existed. Well, and the other religion groups as well. But it was in curiosity and likely at some point he'd ask about at least one of them. As, if he was now living in the wild, he should at least know more about dragons.

OOC: IDK why but I found it amusing that if your bad you go "down under", which is another name for Australia if you didn't know. Unless that was intentional, then I'm just dumb.XD
IC: Kar nodded in agreement. "Yeah, that's basically the idea, though some different cultures believe in different gods and their own versions of heaven and hell. Though pike I said, they basically all carry roughly the same core belief," he explained. He honestly liked being able to show off his knowledge of the land and it's occupants. Red wasn't really the curios type, she more just took life at face value, enjoying what was happening in the moment. She wasn't often the one for curiosity of all this sort of stuff, though sometimes she'd get a little curious.

OoC :: Unintentional, I had no idea Australia was sometimes call that. I used to use that phrase a lot when I didn't want to say hell. Heh.
IC :: "Okay, I think I understand that," Jack said nodding his head a little. it was odd how there were different gods to different people, but the concept was the same. Fore the most part it seemed. And then another question struck his mind before asking about the other topic he wanted to expand upon. "What culture are you then? Er, if you have one... are you allowed to not have a culture? Or are you allowed to have multiple cultures?"

OOC: Ah welcome! Of course you can jump in anywhere! If you want you can join Kar, Red and Jack, or I can make another character?
Hehe that's understandable. I think the only reason I thought that was funny is because the first colonists of Australia were convicts, so you you were bad, you really were sent 'down under'. It's probably more of plan inside joke for Aussie's sorry.XD
IC: Kar clicked his back teeth lightly together, something he did when he was thinking or remembering things, before shaking his head and looking down. "No, I'm not apart of any culture I'm afraid," he said quietly. He wasn't going to say it, but his mother was exiled from her city before he was born and never told him anything about her old home or his cultural origin. Did he want to know? Sort of yes. He'd tried adopting certain religion and cultures, but nothing really work out for him, so he eventually settled with simply just existing and being thankful for it.
