OOC: Maybe we could say that his mother or father had the same colourecoloured scales? Or the silver scales has been passed down the royal family for generations? ]
IC: Red frowned and furrowed her brow. That was quite sad, that he didn't even know his own age. She just looked down. "Oh...well, I'm 11 and you look about my age so why don't we say you're eleven too. For now," she added the last part quickly in case he didn't like the thought of being 11 or something. Kar listened quietly while he walked. It wasn't a far walk he was sure, but would take them about half an hour to an hour to get there he was sure. If they flew it would only be about ten minutes or less, but he didn't really fly anymore since Red came along.

OoC :: Ah, his silver scales would match his mother's. His sister has more of a golden shine to hers and his brother is a black dragon, so silver throughout generations doesn't work as well.
IC :: "Being eleven works with me!" Jack agreed easily, nodding his small head up and towards the direction of her voice. He gave her a small smile, not quiet realizing what she thought was sad was how he expected things to be. "So, have you ever met any other wild dragons? You two are the first ones I met. Or have you met other dragons in general? What do you two look like? Well, disregard that one..." He knew an explanation wouldn't help him. He had never seen color before, so it would just be words to him.

OOC: Ah I see. Well at least he has it in common with his mother! XD
IC: Red, even though he couldn't see her, had to smile back at him when he did. She decided to start with the harder question first, as she didn't see any reason why he wanted them to disregard it. "Well I'm bright red with a blue shine, so when I'm in the sun I look bright purple," she said to him, slightly waggling her haunches as she talked to him. "And my father's scales are the blackest of black, with stars all over him," she finished with a smile. "As for other dragons, no. I've never seen any myself, but dad's met lots! He's told me of some amazing dragons he's met, and even some he lived with!"

OoC :: Yep, at least there is that.
IC :: Jack couldn't even guess what those looked liked. He didn't even know what he looked like. SOme at the camp said he was silver, but he didn't know what that was. But he gave a small smile as if he understood those colours and what the two likely looked like. "That's awesome! Are all wild dragons as kind as you two are?" He chose to ask that rather than stay on track with colors, a sore spot as he wanted to be able to see people, he just.... couldn't Unfortunately it was that was since birth, he knew how to deal with it but it was stressful to be blind.

OOC: Yeah. Also I'm so sorry!
IC: Red beamed at him at his 'awesome' remark, then shrugged. "Well... I don't think so, I don't know," she said, though then it was Kar's turn to speak up. "Drqgons are like humans. There's good and there's bad ones, " he explained in without looking back. He wanted to be vague though, as he didn't want explain that sort of stuff to them. It was safe to say that Red was a very sheltered you dragon. Kar kept her not only safe, but why to the evil of the world as well.

IC :: Jack nodded a little bit. "Have you met any bad dragons?" He asked in pure curiosity. Kar seemed a lot, lot older than him and Red, which had to mean he knew a lot of things. And so Jack was going to ask him questions. Unless of course Kar asked him not to, because then he wouldn't. But for the moment now, he would. He really just wanted to hear about the world that he hadn't thought he was going to see. Well, not see.

IC: Kar raised his eyebrows slightly and his lips curled up ever so slightly. "Don't you have plenty of questions," he said in a little amusement, though he felt a small jab from Red anyway. "Oh course I have Jack. I've met a lot of dragons with bad intentions. When your as old as me it should be expected of me," he said before going quiet. His mind drifted back to when he was younger, about...twelve years ago. He could remember the egg, the bodies. Quickly shaking his head, he brought himself back to the real world, though his whole body shook a little bit.

IC :: Jack made notice of Kar's body shaking and frowned where he assumed was downwards at Kar's scales on the older dragon's back. "Hmm... How old are you exactly? And what about the good dragons you met?" Jack looked up again with his blind eyes in curiosity. It felt right not to ask about his shaking anyways, and since it was probably connected to thinking about bad dragons, he figured good ones would be better.

OOC: Btw these dragons he's explaining about is actually from the original rp. If only Samandrial was still here.XD They were the first creator. IC: The shake also caught Red's attention and she frowned slightly. He hadn't done that before that she could remember. Kar shrugged slightly. "I've lost track on how old I am, but I know it's somewhere between 400 and 500," he explained. There weren't too many dragons to live as long as he had. A lot of dragons had the same lifespan as a human, it was a more uncommon to have such a long life, but it wasn't exactly rare. It was more likely though in larger dragons. "The good eggs? Well there was a lot more of them. I used to live with a group actually. We were sort of travellers. I don't remember everyone's name cause it's been such a long time, but I do remember some. There was Riley, Tim, a huge four winged dragon, Max (my character), a large black dragon and Ra, a small three eyed dragon," he explained. There was also a cave dragon, a human and a baby. Unbeknown to Red, Ra was actually her mother...

OoC :: Oh really? That's awesome!
IC :: "That's amazing. It would have been nice to meet them, but I'm guessing you no longer travel with them," Jack chuckled to himself at the obviousness of the question. If they still where, he would have smelled them by now. "And so now you travel with Red, right? What's been the most interesting thing to happen to you two so far?" He tilted his head waiting for an answer, thinking about all the cool possibilities.

OOC: Yeah! It was really interesting, but it made me so annoyed that I missed most of the cool stuff cause of timezones. It was awesome too cause Ra was actually pregnant so Red being her daughter was so perfect!
Oh by the way should this be like the usual medieval rp with elves and dwarfs and stuff? Like Lord of the Rings. Totally haven't been bing watching that...XD
IC: Chase frowned as he pointed out that he was no longer with them. He could still remember why as clear as though it was yesterday and it made him clench his teeth and he had swallow. Well he couldn't forget it, not when it was what gave his Red. "Yes, now I travel with Red. We've been looking for somewhere to settle down," he explained, then shrugged at his next question, tilting his head. "Um, I actually don't know. I'm pretty safe so not much happens," he said before Red spoke up again. "Well there was that old mine we went through. To avoid having to climb over the mountain we took the mine that ran Al the way though. I swear there was something following us," she said cheerfully, not noticing her father's lack of cheer from the previous conversation. She was sure there was something following them through those mines, noises kept going off and at that time she was still very young so it terrified her.

OoC :: Aw drat, timezones suck. But that is amazing!
That totally works! I'd love that actually!
IC :: He turned his head to her quickly in curiosity. "Wow, really? Did you ever figure out what was following you?" Jack's eyes widened in curiosity at the thought of it, he was glad that whatever it was didn't attack the two dragons he met at least. Cause, otherwise he'd probably be left out in the forest all alone and afraid and unsure what to do. Or possibly skinned and dead. Or countless other bad things that may have happened to him.

OOC: Yeah they do! Though I'm glad I'm in my timezone cause otherwise I'd need to be up until one in the morning to stay active with you guys.XD
Okay awesome! I didn't actually think of that before now.XD It'll add more depth though, which is good!
IC: Red shook her head, then realised she had to say something and spoke up. "Nope, that's why it was so-" he quickly lunged forward until he was right up as his ear and whispered the last part, "spooooky." She leaned back and giggled. It was a dwarf mine too, so it was spooky enough before that. She opened her mouth to answer before the trees suddenly disappeared and they were in farmland. Looking forward she could see the foliage very close. It was only on the other side of the farm. Even from here she could see some dragons in the sky, and she bounced and squeezed in excitement.

OoC :: Hehe. I do stay up to 1 in the morning to roleplay now.
Sweet!
IC :: He flinched as she said that, even if it was quiet it sounded loud. Right next to his ear and his heightened sense of sound didn't help. Though, Jack supposed it could be seen as him jumping at the idea. Either way, he didn't fully care- it was either very sensitive to things or easily scared... no winning there. THough as she started to move around it what Jack assumed was happiness, he looked in her direction. He could smell and partially feel the difference of the forest and whatever terrain they were on now- more sun on his back and less bushes, also a different sort of scent. "Are we there? Or almost there? Wait- why are you so happy now?" He asked, eyes widening as he tried to figure it out. And then the scent of dragons and the sound of wings flapping in the distance hit him. Oh, other dragons were here.

OOC:
Oh boy why do you do that to yourself?!
IC: Red saw the slight jump when she had spoken in his ear, but she guessed it was just because she was suddenly so close to him. But hey, that wasn't a bad thing. At least she didn't think it was. As she saw him sort of, well in her eyes it looking like he was panicking, so she spoke slowly to hold her excitement as Kar continued to walk forward again. "Yes we're nearly there Jack. We're in farmland now, but the village is just ahead of us!" She said quietly, but excitedly. Kar however stayed silent, waiting for Red to realise. He was starting to think that she wasn't going to, when she suddenly frowned and gulped. Oh gosh, this was her first time in a village, with humans and dragons and all the other creatures that would be there! Moving slowly and carefully to try and make sure her father didn't feel it, she inched over to Jack until her pelt lightly brushed his. Although, whether it was to comfort him or comfort herself she really wasn't sure. Of course though, Kar had noticed, seeing as it was his back, and he couldn't help but smile just a little bit.

OoC ::
I know, I have a really bad issue. I'm trying to fix it before school starts though.
IC :: Jack's eyes brightened a bit as she spoke. It would be his first time at one, though he reminded himself that he'd still have to be careful and not bump into others. Being blind had downsides when going to new places. He almost jumped at the small contact of scales against his scales, but quickly calmed himself realizing it was just Red. He was now guessing the excitement from her had changed to a kind of fear. Which Jack could totally understand, both of the young dragons hadn't gone to a village before- it was a new experience.

OOC:
yes you would need a change with school coming back.XD I say good luck. You'd actually go well in Spain, I believe the day actually starts at about 1:00. That's when people get up if I'm right. Or that's when they go to sleep...
IC: Red felt his slightly tense up as she touched against his scales, and her response to it was to move even closer so the touch wasn't so light. It's better to feel it more then hardly feel it at all right? Kar just smiled in amusement when he could feel the movement on his back, but he then spoke up. "Okay, we won't be here too long, we're just getting some medical supplies like bandages and healing potions," he explained as they quickly approached the town. He was going to add that that means they weren't getting anything else, but maybe they wanted to get something that he didn't mind, so he left it out.

OoC ::
Wow, That sounds fun.
I am very impressed with Kar for being able to talk like this. Hehe...
IC :: "Okay," Jack nodded his head firmly calming himself down and realizing his suddenly brought tension. As he knew it was just her and not something randomly brushing against him he was able to succeed in doing that as well. And then another wave of curiosity hit him and he began to ask, "So, have you been to this village before? Or at least know where to find the stuff?" He thought they were reasonable questions, kinda as he himself would have no clue where they would be.

OOC:
Oh that's 1am by the way. I'm not going to cope well, I'm not morning person.XD My brother will be fine though. He never gets tired!
Hehe same.XD I was on the fence on whether to add it or not. Like, would there be potions? That's more of a game mechanic then something in a story.
IC: Red was glad to feel him calm down, even if he forced himself to. She didn't want to think of what might have happened to the poor thing if she and her father hadn't been there. Such a poor dragon. He seemed so innocent and kind, and she was sure he didn't deserve whatever he had gone through with those horrible humans. While she was busy up against Jack feeling sorry him, Kar was responding to his questions. "Yes, I've been her before. Though, I was here a long time ago. The place seems very different to what I remember. I don't remember these farms...or the walls," he said, tilting his head as he suddenly saw the wooden walls that surrounded the city.

OoC ::
Wow, he's lucky.
Hmm, well it could be actually. In the instance there are kinda magic users or people who could make potential potions, or simply as what they basically are, medicines? Or something like that.
IC :: Jack's tail curled a little, curiosity striking him. Walls... He was aware of what they were used for, trapping people in- or he supposed keeping them out, but he had more memories of it being used in the former way. He smiled a little before saying with a small laugh, "Well, hopefully it isn't too different, right?" He had no idea about what Red was thinking, it didn't cross his mind she might feel bad for him because of what they saw earlier. He had, for the moment, put it in the past, unaware that how he reacted to things might because of that.

OOC: Here!
Oh yeah he is.XD
Yeah that would make sense. Maybe there are some potions for things, but maybe as far as healing potions go, there wouldn't be things that can heal broken bones and sicknesses. instead the potions would be more like medicine nowadays. Things like antibiotics and painkillers? Idk just an idea.
IC: Kar only nodded and gave a quiet 'hmm' to the young dragon. He hoped it wasn't too different as well. The walls though definitely had definitely put him off of the town. nevertheless though he continued walking until he got to the front gate and went in. There was no one stopping him, but the guards were certainly keeping an eye on them, which definitely freaked out Red. She hated that she couldn't even see the faces of the guards who watched them.

OoC :: Yeah! That's exactly what I was thinking!
IC :: Jack in took the scent of many, many people as they went inside. He couldn't tell what they looked like or how the felt based on expressions, but he could smell them. With wide, amazed blind eyes, he smiled a small smile. It was completely exciting. "Red, what's it like so far? What you were imagining?" He asked in joy and curiosity. He would never see a village, smell and hear, but not see. So he was going to rely on her for that.

OOC: Oh awesome! I love when ideas are made and decided so quickly, it feels fluent.
IC: Red was snapped out of her thoughts when she was spoken too. She, like Kar, was looking around at everything, only she was looking in awe and curiosity, not in caution. "Well there's so many people, and dragons too!" She whispered, having to stretch up a little bit to reach his ear. A lot of the dragons around them were about Red's size and smaller, the only ones bigger seemed to be mostly in the sky, but so far she hadn't seen any bigger then Kar. "There's mostly humans, but I think I've seen an elf or two, and a couple dwarfs, but mostly humans. Everyone's wearing big coats, and the buildings are huge, bigger then Dad," she continued to explain, only then noticing how he wasn't scared sounding, it was more like excitement. She also left out though how a little more then a few of people seemed to be looking at them. She would have brushed it off as seeing a rather large dragon, but it seemed more like their gaze was directed at either her or Jack. Seeing as how close they were she couldn't really tell.

OoC :: Yeah! Whoo!
IC :: "That sounds amazing! I wish I could see it as well.... Ah, but either way, it's amazing to know that we're actually in a village! I can't see it, but it feels different from where I used to live- I mean, I can already smell more humans and less dragons- and the scents I don't recognize are elves and dwarves and anything else... I think it's great!" Jack said. He couldn't tell people were staring at them, he was a little too distracted to notice. He was more focused on the fact that this was his first time in this different place, and it was completely different than where he had grown up- where he just previously this day left. He would have likely been a little more frightened or anxious if he could see, so it was probably better at the moment that he couldn't.

Red felt as though she needed to lower her voice until it was barely over a whisper because of the people looking at the three. She was a little glad that he couldn't see the people looking at them, because she could also guess that it would have made him uncomfortable at the very least. At his comment about wishing he could see everything, Red just frowned slightly, but she smiled again and looked up at him. "I'll tell you what. How about you can be your nose and ears, and I'll be your eyes. Any questions or-or if you want anything described I'll be here to help," she offered with a smile growing a little on her face.

I don't know what color is and conjuring something in my head is too difficult. It wouldn't honestly help..." Jack said. He had been blind forever, from the moment he hatched out of his egg to now. And he wouldn't ever be able to fix that sadly. It was just a useless effort to describe it to someone who can and never will see. He still managed fine still, it was stressful getting used to a new area and being unable to see, but he could do it.

OOC: Sorry I'm only responding like, once a day now.
IC: Red's smile faltered even so slightly and she glanced down for a moment. She knew he meant no harm in what he said but it kind of made her feel like she'd said something wrong. Maybe it was just because she didn't often deal with anyone saying no to her, or because it was the first person she'd met who'd said it. Not wanting to ruin it, she brightened her smile again and looked at him, shrugging. "Well, if you do have any questions I'm always here to help in the best way that I can," she told him happily.

OOC: Oh thank you, I do need to respond more though, so I'm not procrastinating everything till 10:00 at night.😴
IC: Red nodded as he thanked her, but what made her actually smile wider was when he asked her what was happening. "Well, we've just entered the market itself so there's a lot more people. A few are looking at us but I'm pretty sure it's just because we're new," she explained, though there were more then a few people looking at them, and even though most of her was sure the reason they were looking at them was because they were newcomers, part of her was not so sure that was the case. "There are lots of different stalls. There are a few for little things, but most are for food. I see fish, pig I think, and a few others I don't recognise," she added so she was a little emote precise on her little description.
