"Well, lately it's been throbbing a little," Robinwing told her, entering her den. "I think it might have been because I slept on it wrong or something."

"Sounds like you put too much pressure on your wound," Flameleaf said. She took a few daisy leaves and gave them to him. "Eat these, they'll help with the throbbing. Also, avoid sleeping on it. If you keep on having problems with the wound, come see me again."

"Thanks," Robinwing meowed, lapping up the leaves she placed in front of him. "I hope it'll heal up properly; I'm not as young as I used to be, so I don't bounce back like I used to."
"We're going to do some battle training," Morningstar told her, "So I hope you're well rested. I won't have my apprentice shown up by any of the others."

Morningstar looked over his apprentice critically. She was small, but her skills were coming together nicely. She would make a fine warrior one day. "Then let's get to it," he meowed, leading her out of camp.

Flameleaf smirked just a little bit. "I'm aware. Hopefully it's not too bad though," she said as she turned around to continue her work with the borough leaves.

"StarClan willing it won't be," Robinwing agreed. He watched her working with her herbs. "You know, if you need help, I could fetch one of the apprentice's for you."

Flameleaf blinked. She was conflicted. On the one hand, or paw, she would rather work alone out of fear of someone messing up her job. On the other paw, she did have a lot of herbs she needed to collect. "Yeah, sure," she said eventually.

"I'll send one in," Robinwing told her, padding out of the medicine cat's den. He looked around the camp, and the only apprentice he could spot was Redpaw. "Redpaw! Flamleaf needs you!"
Redpaw looked up from where he sat, carefully grooming his fur outside of the apprentice's den. He groaned inwardly. Being the youngest apprentice meant he was often stuck with the crummy jobs. "Fine," he sighed, getting to his paws. He made the short journey to the medicine cat's den. "What is it, Flameleaf?" He asked, stepping in.

Flameleaf was just finished with the leaves when Redpaw arrived.
"Hello, Redpaw," she said, picking up the leaves and dropping them at his paws. "I need some help gathering herbs. I'm running very low on them."

"I can do that," Redpaw meowed, looking down at the herbs. "Just show me what to do."

"First of all, carry the leaves. We're going to use them to carry the herbs latter. Once you've got them, follow me." She then promptly exited the den.

Redpaw picked up the leaves in his jaws, not at all excited about the flavor. He followed her out of the den and into the camp. "What are we collecting exactly?"

Flameleaf walked through camp towards the entrance. "Hmm.. Dandelions, Broom, Stinging Nettle, Feverfew, Watermint, and maybe honey," she said, thinking of all the things she'd completely run out of. "We'll collect them one at a time, and I'll tell you what they all look like. Lets get dandelions first. Do you know what they are?"

Redpaw thought for a moment. "They're the white fuzzy flowers right? They grow in fields." He glanced around the camp at the other warriors who got to do real warrior stuff today.

Woolytuft sat outside the warrior den, talking to himself. He was watching the Clan around him, admiring every single cat, and was overall very pleased with the simple fact that he was awake.

Robinwing padded over to Woolytuft, his leg already feeling a little better. "Woolytuft," he meowed, dipping his head to the warrior.

"Yep, though they can also be yellow, and they sometimes grow in forests as well, though the valleys are better," she said. "We'll go to the upper part of the territory."

"What are you going to do with those? Don't they just blow away in the wind?" Redpaw asked.

"Well, for one, I keep them in the back of the herb storage so they won't blow away. But I don't use the white seeds, I use the stems. The milk in them can help soothe bee stings," she explained as she walked to her destination.

"Beestings? Is that all there good for?" Redpaw asked, following closely behind Flameleaf. He couldn't think of one time he'd been stung by a bee.

"The leaves can also be used as a painkiller," she said. She got to the northern part of the territory, and looked around. She quickly saw a small group of them growing. "Here we go," she said, walking over to it and pulling one out. "Try to grab them at the bottom of the stem, so most of the milk doesn't come out."

"I can do that," Redpaw declared. He leaned down, and with his teeth gripped the plant. He gave it a tug and when it didn't come out, he pulled harder. It gave and sent him sprawling on his back. He sat up and looked at Flameleaf. "I don't think I did that right."

Stormsight was lounging in the sun in front of Morningstar's den, his tail flicking, his eyes closed, just dozing, not having anything to do at the moment, though he was debating seeing if anyone wanted to go hunting.

Brightsky trotted up to Stormsight, her eyes bright and full of energy. "Guarding Morningstar's den?" she teased.

She went over and picked up the plant he tugged out. "As long as you got most the stem, it's fine," she said. She then continued to pull out more of the dandelions.

Redpaw narrowed his eyes critically. "Are you sure? I don't think I did it the way you did." he watched her and stared intently at the dandelion she pulled out and compared it to the one he did. "See this doesn't look right."

Brightsky trotted up to Stormsight, her eyes bright and full of energy. "Guarding Morningstar's den?" she teased. "It's the coolest spot of shade in camp.", he replied, not opening his eyes as he spoke, before he did, and stood up, stretching as he did." I was just going to get up and see if anyone wanted to go hunting with me."
