I was going out shopping, we decided to have lunch and the lock was stiff and I couldn't open the door and get out.

I have no idea what Pizza Express is please enlighten me it sounds like a fast food place is my assumption incorrect They're a chain of pizza restaurants. I don't know if they exist outside the UK.

That sounds like one of my worst nightmares. Getting stuck in a germy place. No thanks For half an hour.

Perhaps I should travel to the UK. I would love to, however I am broke and have no job and have yet to finish school.

The UK's nice. The weather isn't, though.

I have heard that. That's too bad. Here it's just boring. I'm right by the US border, so our summers aren't hot enough and our winter's aren't cold enough. It's just all rain all the time.

There was another thread about temperature and I posted that it was 16° here with no units so I'm waiting for all the Americans to lose their minds.

In the UK we use Celsius too. When I see Farenheit I get confused.

I love how they talk about how cold it is below 32°, and it takes me a second to realize that it is indeed cold.

Yeah. They're always like "Haha Canadians say 'aboot'!" I have NEVER IN MY LIFE heard ANYONE SAY THAT. NOR HAVE I SEEN BAGGED MILK Though I'm sure it's not uncommon elsewhere in the country. It is pretty big. That always amused me too, how the entirety of Britain could fit in Vancouver Island.

Americans assume that we all like tea.
I have the occasional fruit tea, but I don't drink normal tea.
They also think we're polite yet we swear every half an hour.
