I should start saying it's creative writing forum! xD Instead, I say something like 'it's a book club... sorta' or 'a place where I can post my writing and art to get advice' or 'just this place I rp on'. cx One out of those is roughly a 'creative writing forum', but I never used those exact words. When people are still looking at me with confusion, I look them in the eyes and say in the most serious voice I can, 'It a forum for cat books.' (In my family, you are referred to as the same thing. You and a couple other select forums get recognized by specially given titles instead, however. For example, a person I rp with call broken is: 'that forumer with the Black Butler avatar.' You are: 'That forumer who talks about and travels a lot.' Last night I mentioned you were going to Canada and how I wanted to go out of the US. My dad seriously said he'd take me to Canada if I wanted to go.  Guess it's something to look forward to. Then we got to talking about how we all wanted to go to China, Greece, ect. The whole family likes to travel. XP ) As a confidence booster, this place has been amazing. It has helped me interact with a lot of wonderful, amazing people as well. <3 You can do it! I used to tell people that it was a website for my favourite book series (this was a few years ago, it has since been overtaken), but it got too confusing to keep track of it all, so I just stated calling it a creative writing forum. I did experience the same the same about of confusion before I made the switch XD
It's so weird to think that people halfway around the world are discussing me, yet I once had a half an hour (in depth) discussion about Curse and it's plot twists. After that conversation, Shadow became known as the 'plot-twist writer'. you, I believe, are 'the series writer' and Tuesday is just Tuesday, although she is often referred to 'the one who's username is the day of the week' by my brother.
Ugh, thats so cool. My father has never offered to take me overseas. He did offer to take me interstate, once, but that involved spending an entire week with people I can't stand... I actually had a nightmare about that the other night...

Yeah, you actually get mentioned a lot in this house. Most of my forum friends do. The ones that my family actually recognize by SN means you clearly had a positive impact on me. Sadly, I can have an in-depth discussion, but they wouldn't really care. Well, I contradict that. My sister adored My Best Friends A Ghost by Swanwhisper and still loves A Rocky Destiny. I'm thinking of showing her Dark Side of the Moon.
I'm slightly amused. What series am I a writer of? xD
Yeah, Tuesday is just Tuesday here as well. Shadow is probably known as 'that forumer who I have known for ages and ages. Writes this really popular story. And you better take me/let me go to her book signing.'
Wooh. Well, we wouldn't be going overseas, just crossing a border. I've never actually even been outside of the US or on an island, as I said. So basically, the heading on my bucket list is: Just let me set foot of the continent/US for once. I've hit just about every state barring the Dakotas, and though that's cool, it would be interesting to actually go someplace else.

Thanks, Saph, on both accounts! I'm glad it will be able to help you outline your projects. As for my exams - as of today, I've got two down. I have an exam-free day tomorrow, then history on Thursday and biology on Friday... then some more next week. The English exams were ok. The essay questions were super specific, but I got it done O.oThat sounds pretty tough, all close together. Kudos for getting through them, though! |
