It's a trap haha
But no seriously. Being a working adult kinda sucks I feel like all I do is work. I mean, don't get me wrong, getting paid is amazing. It's not having a lot of free time that sucks
Like, next week is my last week working Monday thru Friday at 8:30am-5pm. Seems a pretty norm schedule, right?
Starting in August, I'll be working Sunday thru Thursday at 11:30am-8pm. On the plus side, I'll get to stay up late, but still. I'm literally at work all day
Starting in about Mid-September, my schedule's gonna change to 1:15pm-9:45pm with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off work. Again, literally working all day, but I get to stay up late, and with that schedule, you'd better believe it xD I'll prob be up until like 2am or later on that schedule haha
But the thing that sucks about it, is my fiancé's schedule is clashing majorly. The only time it wont clash really is with the 11:30-8 schedule. So that's fun.
Anyway, how is your life?

"Never grow up." Well, I never plan to grow past the age of 20! (equal to roughly 2.432902e+18 years)
I heard a quote from somewhere. It was something along the lines of: being a kid is like playing through a tutorial of a game where YOU are the protagonist; and as you grow up, you realize you're just another NPC. Or something like that.

Yikes, I feel this.
I'm 21, I'm a full time student throughout the year and then I've been working summer jobs for the last 3 years. So I constantly alternate between "Ugh, work is boring, let me go back to school". And "Yeesh, school is stressful. Let me go back to work"
rn I work a full time position in a government office for the entire summer. Like you say, getting paid is great but I feel like all I ever have time to do is work, go to the gym, eat and sleep

i'm 19 and life is better than it was in high school, but i mean. that's not saying much?
i just need to grow up more. right now i have the "part time student working a shitty part time job" dilemma, and i just need to graduate and get a decent job and gtfo of my parents' house. i just feel so cramped in my current situation, and today while i was walking home from work, i literally thought about walking in a random direction and not stopping and the idea felt freeing. maybe i'll do it one day.

I'm 20 and a full time college student Never got around to getting a job, though. Mostly because I didn't want to flip burgers I did customer service at McDonald's for three years before getting this job I've had for almost three months now so far, so I totally understand

i actually like work for the most part. it gets me out of the house which is a v hard thing to do and also gets me to interact with people outside of my family. but i also work 10hr days so i have 3 or 4 days off in a week which is nice. sucks because i only ever get sundays off tho and have to work every saturday :/ but im actually rlly bad at not feeling really bad after like 3 months of work with no like. long period of time off. i just start to feel really badly all the time which isn't gr8. and my job doesn't allow me to take long periods of time off during the summer.
