Plot # 2: Lurking in the Shadows
Muse A is a hunter who travels the country in order to extinguish supernatural threats. When Muse A gets news of yet another small town being terrorized by a murderous creature, they pack up their things and make haste to the next destination. Muse A settles into town quickly and gets to work investigating these mysterious, grisly deaths. Despite Muse A’s best efforts, over the course of several weeks, they keep coming up short of catching the culprit, unaware that Muse B is watching their every move. Muse B is a supernatural creature (a vampire), the same kind as the killer, but innocent. They approach Muse A and offer to hunt down the killer together.

characters & descriptions
Sterling James Ambrose appears 27, is actually 320 years old ; male ; intentional fc -- oriol elcacho
Standing at 6’1, Sterling is considered as an attractive man. He is on the lankier side, but he has lean muscles to support his long frame. He has a slightly tanned skin tone that is without blemish and is smooth to the touch. His hair is swept to the side, out of his face, and is a honey brown color. His eyes are large and almond shaped, and they’re the color of liquid gold with dark brown, almost brick-red, flecks. He prefers to keep clean-shaven, as he looks younger without facial hair. He has nice teeth and a nice white smile. His most noticeable feature is that nice smile of his.
Working as the medical examiner, he is very intelligent. He is inquisitive, curious and sometimes aloof. He can be quite awkward sometimes with social interaction, seeing as he’s with dead bodies most of the time, and his vampirism tends to keep him away from people. He’s very wary of his surroundings, sometimes even jittery, if he’s getting thirsty. He’s very kind and compassionate and very friendly, but don’t let that trick you. As a vampire, he’s very shrewd and sly, and sometimes manipulative to get what he wants.
As a vampire, he has special powers. He has the power of super speed and strength and is immortal. His senses are especially heightened, and he’s very agile. He also has a limited form of tactile telepathy that allows him to read minds once he touches them.
When he hasn’t fed in awhile, his eyes will start to turn red, and purple-black bruises will form underneath his eyes and expose their veins. His fangs will become more prominent as well, and his self control will slowly slip away.
As a a vampire that has integrated himself within human society, Sterling drinks animal blood over human, but sometimes will drink human blood if it’s available within his work as the ME.

Finally got him done ^^ geez I was so torn on how to make him. He's a bit different from other characters archetypes I'm familiar with, so I struggled a bit to try and keep him from turning into someone else. I took a few liberties with the way the supernatural works in the world? If you wish to debate anything feel free, it is your plot and I'd like to have similar ideas about the way things work before it's started and good. Also, want me to copy my starter over here? Jason Alexander Laney; 36 years old, male Jason is only 5'9, but appears somewhat taller due to his long legs in comparison to the rest of him. He has a runner's build, though he's never been the athletic type and over the years has gotten a bit round around the edges. He has black hair that usually stays a medium length with a cowlick in the back forcing him to keep it above his neck or face dire bad-hair-day consequences. His eyebrows have two states: furrowed or quirked. He’s slightly farsighted and wears contacts, but also has a pair of black, square reading glasses that frame his green-grey eyes when it’s early or late in the day.
Jason’s curiosity is the one thing that has never changed since childhood, and a trait that allows him to relentlessly pursue his work. He is always the one to ask why something is the way it is or how it actually works instead of leaving something at face value. He wants to understand the world in its entirety, a lofty goal and one even harder to accomplish with the sight. He’s not the best in dealing with other people, preferring to work alone. And with his blunt way of speech, it’s usually for the best. Surprisingly enough, Jason’s a smart guy. He’d have trouble following a instruction manual but given the time he’d eventually puzzle out how to make it. He has good intuition even if his instincts aren’t the best. But overall Jason is not patient. He hates waiting for something to come together, and plots aren’t his forte. He always needs to be doing something or thinking about something. When stretched thin or forced to wait he is easily frustrated, though his go-to method of calming down is chewing ice, pacing or occasionally doodling with a pen or pencil nearby. Anything to keep him occupied and able to focus.
His mother's family is Russian while his grandmother on his father's side immigrated to Canada --and later the US-- from rural France. The two met in an art convention: his mother being an aspiring artist herself and his father, ironically, with his girlfriend. Three years later they were married and after four Jason was born. Jason learned of the supernatural from his mother. When his father was out at work --an engineer at a car manufacturer-- the two would leave to go to the park and flatter the vain minor faeries or coax the dryads out of their hiding places. To any outsider it would appear as though they were just a kid and mother playing pretend, but both had been born with the ability to see the supernatural. It was Jason’s mother that convinced him to join a small group of others with the sight to help relocate, foster and care for the supernatural creatures that were harmed by humans (or sometimes other creatures). This later opened the door for him to pursue supernatural beings that were causing harm, much to his mother’s disapproval. It was a dangerous job with very little reward, but Jason found his calling in the constant movement and aiding the local police and governmental agencies as a free agent. The supernatural crimes were few and far between, but with a permit as a free agent he had plenty of other more mundane cases to work on when his real work ran slow. But slow was good, and he enjoys relaxing and solving cases about how so and so is cheating on his wife or missing dogs. They pay and he was doing good for others, both great things in his book. Plus it kept his mother from worrying all too much.
