Or have the news been getting really really blunt lately? Like, meaning, bias being everywhere.
Like, usually, a news article title would say something like "soandso claims soandso is a bad something" or "reporter from soandso company says this or that"- like, something that at least makes the topic subject to debate because the news aren't saying anything directly- cause they want to make articles at least a little generalized so that they can attract a wide audience.
But now all the titles are filled with "Soandso is a liar", "Soandso is terrible", "people should do this", and other really direct and blunt statements that seem to be bias strait from the news' mouth.
And I know some of the lower and not-as-popular news articles sometimes tend to be more biased- and I get that- but seriously, I'm seeing really big news companies preaching like a church in their articles and not showing any other view point at all.
And the thing is, I'm not just upset cause I disagree with a lot of it- I actually agree with some of it- it's just... why the bias? o.o" why is it drenched in so much of our media these days?
The news these days are feeling less like a place where I can look at different perspectives and find out what I think myself- and more like a place where I'm told exactly what to do, what to say, and what to think about people before I can even decide for myself.
That's why I've been avoiding the news these days :/

Well, "Soandso is a buttface" kind of brings in a lot of clicks, sadly.
