so i'm a bio major. idk what i want to do w it really bc i really like embryology and development, entomology, cell and molec, evolution, and i've recently become interested in optometry, ophthalmology, and maxillofacial surgery
ideally, i'd be a sports analyst of some sort. i love hockey statistics and numbers, and i also love the business side of it too. however that's not a stable field
not that i'm not happy doing bio!! i really am! i Love biology. so i'm actually not upset about this but i'd love to do something w sports stats as a career since i do it so much for fun already

Planning on being a marine biologist, honestly. Or a writer, but then again barely anyone reads the stuff I've posted online over many, many years in the first place, so there's that.

Dream job would be pretty much anything with animals. I love all animals so I'm not picky about which kinds I'd be working with. I have other interests but that's the only one I will never get bored of or see as just tiring work.
Realistically, I have no idea on specifics, but I'm open to pretty much anything that makes a decent amount of money, even if the work sucks. I mean it's great to be able to enjoy your job, but if you don't have enough money, you'll be stressed in every other part of your life. Plus, I want to be able to have all of my pets without worrying about vet bills and other things. I kind of have a lot of animals so.

I wanna keep doing my apprenticeship with making glass and possibly branch out to metalsmithing or other handmade crafting but that's pretty unlikely at this point. And of all things I've also considered being a florist but that's probably going to be more of a hobby than anything. Maybe I can also eventually foster cats with disabilities if I ever get a house in the distant future.
Until I can afford to finish school or get a GED the best I can get around here if I'm ever hired is some garbage minimum wage fast food job that causes me to have anxiety so bad I have a heart attack or something.

My dream job would be an illustrator/cartoonist, or at the very least some form of commercial artist. Art is something I'm very passionate about, pretty skilled at, and something I've worked at basically since I could pick up a pencil. Over time it's sort of become part of my identity. It seems like it would be a waste of that natural talent that I love so much to not go into an art career. I have family members who have worked as commercial artists and been able to stake out a pretty stable living for themselves, and I'm already making decent money as a cartoonist for the newspaper (though I don't have to pay taxes or bills ofc), so I'm optimistic. Still, I know how hard it is to make a living on art. It really depends entirely on what field you go into. Sooo, for my backup plan, that leaves being a history teacher or maybe a tour guide?? I'm a history fanatic and pretty knowledgeable about a wide range of (mostly American) history, and I've been told that once I start babbling on about it... I'm actually a pretty good speaker? Like I've had people who could care less about history tell me that I was able to make it really interesting if not enjoyable for them due to my narrative skills so. I guess that's something I could look into. Working on the grounds of some cool historic place like Mount Vernon or Gettysburg would be amazing. I can't really stand kids, so if I were going to teach maybe I'd be a college professor or somethin'. not sure what I'm gonna end up doing, but I still have time to figure things out.

honestly I don't actually know what I want to do specifically, but ideally I'd like a cool job where I get to travel around pretty often and such, especially if it can tap into the fact I'm learning Japanese bc it would be cool to actually be able to use the language for a job but I'll probably be stuck in a boring office job or smth

dream jobs would be animator or dog trainer/groomer. animation inspires me so much and i want to pass what i feel onto others. but i don't have enough money to go to a good school and since one school's alumnus pretty much dominate the entire field it's hard to break in if you didn't go there. and as for dog trainer/groomer. i could do it. but like. i don't know. i love dogs so much but being around dogs i don't know that well makes me a bit nervous because i don't want to upset the dog/owner if i do something that either doesn't like.
realistic jobs would be something in trade. i figure once im done with trans things like name change/top surgery/and a few more months on t, ill go back to school in a trade field. like plumbing, hvac, or something idk. honestly i would settle for garbage man no problem lol

Realistic Me: trying to finish her bio degree also and afterwards go to grad school to become a speech language pathologist
Idealistic Me: Wants to be an actor, we're talking stage acting, not movie acting. (I still act all of the time for fun and hopefully even though I know I can't make it big time will continue to do community theatre. But this was my BIG DREAM TM since like grade 6)

My dream job is to be an assistant for a children's choir, preferably at the elementary school level, focusing primarily on helping kids from disadvantaged backgrounds. Choir and music is something I'm really passionate about, and I also enjoy working with younger children. Getting to sing in my summer program with the internationally acclaimed Young People's Chorus of NYC, and going to their concert last month, has inspired me even more. YPC serves children and youth from all parts of NYC, every racial and socioeconomic background. They provide financial and academic support, have a 100% high school graduation rate (all members go on to college), travel internationally, have performed for people such as Obama and the Pope, and more. In addition to the 400 children in the six YPC divisions (ranging in age from 7 - 18), they also provide music education programs for over 1,000 kids in NYC public schools, many of whom wouldn't otherwise have access to such programs. It is one of the most incredible organizations out there, doing amazing things for its members and the world, musically and so much beyond. At the end of the concert last month when all 400 members were onstage at once - children of every imaginable background, singing and having fun, no one judging anyone, I was literally crying because I thought "this is what the world needs to be". Both YPC and the choirs that I've been in, and all the conductors I've worked with have changed my life and inspired me in so many ways. My hometown is pretty well-known for music, I was in an amazing children's choir there for 10 years. But I know a lot of kids aren't able to participate in such things. The things that I've experienced, I want other children to have the same opportunities.
Reality, I'm not entirely sure. I've taken a couple of early childhood classes and done some volunteer work at a preschool, a couple of afterschool programs, and my church, so I'm definitely interested in working with younger kids, especially in connection to music and reading. Possibly also a children's library.

Eh, I wouldn't say I want this as a job per-say, but I'd like to become a Leopard Gecko Breeder. Already raised one and he lived for a good 20 years, and my second, Dexter, is nearly a year old now.
