I never thought that waking up would be such a scary experience. I couldn't breathe or move, I started panicking, and my little brother had to come over to snap me out of it. Some role model I am, having a panic attack the moment I open my eyes.
I guess this past month or so has been an endless build-up of stress and worry, and it finally overwhelmed me. And it's not like anything is specifically causing it. It's just my own stupid fear and paranoia. Of course, with this constant concern, I refuse to tell anyone about it for some stupid reason. There was a reason at some point, but I just can't remember it anymore.
I'm just ranting a bit here, I guess. I'd delve more into it, but I've been called "edgy" and "salty" enough times recently.

What exactly is bothering you? It's it family or school? Health paranoia, though family and school are also apart of the problem. I'm mainly afraid of something bad happening to me or a family member of mine, and being powerless to help with anything. Specifically, health related things. Cancer, kidney failure, all that.

Social time, whitenoise, etc. Mostly they only keep me distracted for a short period of time before the anxiety kicks in again. I think the only times that I'm not worried about it is during sleep. I haven't had any dreams as soon as I started have concerns about this.

That sounds so scary! But it also reminds me of sleep paralysis. I hope that wasn't the problem :(
I hope things start to go smoother for you.

But I don't think I saw any shadowy figures (or hallucinations in general) in my room, so I'm guessing it was just an attack. But thank you. I hope so, as well.
