Hello all!
So I was just searching through my local bookstore the other day for anything good when I accidentally found this new book Duology called 'The Wildings'.
It's about these cats in Dehli that talk and communicate via one collective mind. A house kitten is born and is known as a 'Sender', a cat more capable of 'sending' out their thoughts to any cat and at a further distance that the rest. They are able to kinda travel around the territories like an apparition, through their minds. It's hard to explain (plus i'm terrible at explaining) but I'ts kind of like Dovewing's powers where she can see what is happening but it's far more advanced and the sender can actually walk through the places in her mind and animals feel the presence of a cat and can feel the sender as if she brushed past them
The book is actually quite good so far. I bought the first book, they had the second book there too but I wanted to make sure I like the first book before I bought the second. So I'm going to get the second this week.
Although the book is quite dark too. The chapter I'm currently reading has a bunch of mad, cannibal cats that are trapped in an abandoned run down house. It's actually sort of chilling, how the author describes it. Oh and their is a cat named Southpaw (very warriors like) in the book too who is currently trapped in the house with the cannibal cats!
It's definitely a good one to check out, especially for all us Warriors fans. I obviously can't post an outside link, so just look the books up online.

I've heard of it. It seems interesting.
Also, posting outside links are fine, so long as they're safe. It was only on the old, official forums where it was banned. These are unofficial since it was created by the fans of the series as well as to serve as a replacement for the old forums when it got shut down last year.

It's very good. Datura and his cats are horrid, they're twisred and insane. Locked up inside a shuttered house all their lives, never seeing the outside. It made them crazy. My latest status is a Line from the book, one of Datura's cats. This cat fell through the roof of the house they were living in. He broke his paw and asked for protection. But they killed him. "How he cried, his paw was broken, wasn’t that so?. He could barley stand up, and he had to drag himself away from us. Such a pity he didn’t get very far” Aconite _ The Wildings

One collective mind? Like....the Internet???? And it also seems really thriller-y and psychological.... Thanks for giving us all a great book recommendation, haha.

It's hard to explain how they communicate. Kind of like they can hear each other's thoughts. The Sender is even more complicated, I can't even behind to describe a sender's powers....mostly because I'm terrible at explaining and would most likeley end up making you more confused lol. You are very welcome. The books are very good. Oh and sorry for the late reply.
