where a cat is the good one and a dog is evil. See, from all the movies I've watched about animals like this, the cat is always the evil one, or with the villain. Always. And the dog is always the good one. Sure, sometimes, they have good cats too, but there's still always that evil cat present. It just bugs me how movies portray cats to be evil while dogs are the good ones. I have nothing against dogs, I just think that cats should be just the good guys for once.
The fact that I see so many things on Facebook and Tumblr about how cats are 'jerks' and dogs are 'so loving' also does not help. I mean, cats can be just as loving as dogs. They aren't jerks, not in general. Every cat and dog has its own personality, and if one or the other loves you or is friendly then they will show it in their own ways. Just because a cat doesn't run up to you and tries to jump to lick your face doesn't mean it's not happy to see you or is a jerk. Okay, I guess this is kind of a duel rant. Anyway, rant over now, thanks for reading.
Oh, and if there actually is a movie you know of where the cat is good and the dog is evil, feel free to tell me.

I feel this way with blondes and brunettes. I've got dark hair myself and it sucks to always be seen as the bad guy in film. But then again, villains are sometimes more interesting and intelligent. At the same time though, my parents see me (the brunette) as evil and manipulative and my brother (the blond) as the good guy even when he goes completely bezerk.

I'm also a brunette (technically my hair is black, but since there's no name for that I've always said brunette). I had a similar problem growing up as a kid, especially while watching Disney. A lot of the princesses (aside from Belle, and I didn't really like beauty and the beast as a kid because the whole bestiality idea threw me off even then) were blonde, or just the "good" characters in general. To make matters worse even my favourite princess at the time, Ariel, had red hair. AND THEN THEY MADE THE LITTLE MERMAID 2 Sure it was just a crummy Disney sequel in most people's eyes but omg as a 5-7 year old who basically wanted to be a mermaid when she grew up I cherished the heck out of that movie. Melody is basically me converted into a cartoon version lol. Charatcer representation is so much more important than people realize, especially for little kids.

I didn't really think about B&B having bestiality undertones. It was always just a love story to me. I was just glad there was a princess with brown hair and a brain in her head.
Dude I grew up watching those Disney sequels! I was epecially glad about Melody basically flipping the bird to Ariel and running off to be a mermaid. I have a deep rooted hatred for Ariel that goes back way way back to wee little Northy days xD

Hahaha! xD Yeah I never understood why she gave up her entire life in the sea for some dude she met on a beach/who she couldn't even talk to lmao. Plus I feel like since it was made in the late 90's/early 2000's they made Melody a little more socially awkward/relatable as a character too, which helped her feel more real. The only thing I wish they would've done was give her her own sidekicks (aside from mini-Undertow haha) instead of Flounder and Sebastian, I think it would've helped add to her character more, but ah well.
Now that I'm past the whole hair representation issue for the most part I definitely relate to Rapunzel in Tangled the most. If you took my general personality (and tbh probably taste in men) and wrapped it up into a Disney movie that's basically it xD I laugh like a maniac every time at the scene where she basically has that major mood swing upon first getting outside. That's a typical stress-ridden day for me in a nutshell, haha.

I'd love to have a movie where any LGBT characters weren't killed and/or shown to be "evil" myself! Same with any characters that aren't white, since characters of color in movies aren't treated well either.

It's like the same deal with cats being evil and a couple being good. What I want is a movie where cats are only good and dogs are only evil. Just one, so cats aren't represented so poorly.

I can't think of the names right now, but I've seen a few movies where colored characters were good and didn't die or were treated worse than others. Also, not a movie, but Clyde's dads in Loud House and *spoiler* Luna's crush on a girl named Sam are pretty darn cute and represented really well.

I know in Cat vs Dogs the second movie. Though the villain is a cat and the hero is dogs. I know that a cat was on the good guy's team. Yeah, I watched it, but the dogs are still good and a cat is still evil. It wasn't a bad movie, but it's still not the best representation for cats actually being just as good as dogs can be.

I don't know a movie where the cat is good and the dog is evil, but I do have a movie called "Kedi" that may satisfy your second rant on appreciating the value of a cat's personality. I can't guarantee that every cat in this movie doesn't visibly kiss up to people because "Kedi" captures cats' unique and complex personalities. It goes to show that cats are not one-dimensional, which is perhaps closer to the truth (and more interesting) than showing cats (and dogs) simply as good or evil. To me, this makes cats more appealing than dogs portrayed in movies and social media.

To people who say cats are insensitive jerks: cats can love ya, you just gotta deserve it.
