(Yeah I'm thinking about adding Contests since not all trainers are probably going to be interested in gym battles. What do you mean byt the Princess thing sorry?) "I.... I don't know yet..." Peter frowned and glanced up to Akai. "I've never battled before. I mean i understand that it can strengthen your pokemon and make them grown but.... I don't really see the point in unnecessary battling and getting them hurt?" Her tone was confused, as if she wasn't even sure of what she was saying. "But I'll try battling first to see if Turtwig and I like it."
"If you only participate in battles you deem necessary, your pokemon will grow really slow. You gotta train y'know." he couldn't understand that at all. What kind of trainer only wanted to fight once in a while? It made no sense. Akai knew though, that he would always be a battler. It fit his amazing personality and abilities after all. Anything else wouldn't be flashy enough. |

(I feel ya on that. I'm currently watching the XY series with my gf. I really enjoy it and am kinda into Pokevision but not so much the Poketacualrs. Serena's character is a little flat tbh but I love Bonnie and Clemmont)
"I'm sure you can train without causing harm to your Pokemon or other Pokemon!" Peter shook her head. "How can I say I love and protect my Pokemon if I make them battle all the time for no other reason than to be strong? There has to be more to being a Pokemon Trainer than being strong... right?" Tatsumi followed after Professor at the Sequoia to the room where the starters were kept. He couldn't wait to get his but he didn't want to make any rash decisions, the Pokémon he pick for team would help him on his journey to be the next champion.

The room was filled with starter Pokemon from all regions. Sequoia stood to the side to let the boy choose. "Is there anything you are looking for in particular in a Pokemon?" She asked him as he looked around, a lot of the pokemon had stopped whatever activity they doing and watched the would-be trainer, wondering if any of them would get picked.

I agree. Her kind of character is used so often. I've seen it so many times it's gotten incredibly stale. We haven't had a good female companion for a while. The SM companions are ok though)
"What else is there but to be strong?" Akai asked, genuinely confused "I mean, you could... um, you could just travel with them I guess." if they didn't battle how else were they supposed to get exp?

(I will have to say that I do enjoy the fact that Serena and Ash aren't fighting about something at every turn like some of his previous companions and I love her relationship with Bonnie. I haven't been able to watch SM yet so I have no say in the matter lol)

"You have time to figure it out." Akai agreed, "I doubt you really have to worry about it so soon in your journey. I always wanted to be a trainer so I never struggled with that kind of thing." he said it in a king of matter of fact way that made him sound slightly pretentious. Almost everything he said sounded that way though.

Tie walked into Cloudheights City with his Carracosta walking to the right behind him. Tie looked around and said," Man bro this place is a lot different then back home isn't it Carracosta." Carracosta gave a quick to show that he felt the same as Tie. Tie then looked around and asked," So who is the guy we are supposed to be meeting again?" Carracosta just sighed not believing that he forgot why they had left their gym to come to this city.

Chasin ran up to Tie as soon as he spotted the other leader "Yo! You're Tie right?" he stopped beside the man and took a few breaths. He had jogged up here earlier in the day and was running a bit late. Which was odd for him, but it happened sometimes. He was glad to see the other didn't look like he was waiting that long.

Name: Icarus Highton
Looks: Icarus is a very tall, lean boy, and by lean I truly mean remarkably skinny. He looks a bit like a skeleton, with the hollowed features of his face almost to the bone. His eyes are a icy blue, his hair a platinum blonde. It is very short, just a little longer than an actual buzz-cut. All in all, he looks a bit like a ghost.
Personality: The one thing that can describe Icarus the best is 'morbid'. He is a very sad fellow, his history grim, his out-look on the world dark. He always speaks in a monotone voice, not interested in things, never motivated depressed honestly. Because of this it's not a shocker that he doesn't have any friends. Icarus didn't always used to be this way though. When he was younger he had aspiring dreams of being an inventor, he wanted to create flying machines. When his first real proto-type was invented, his parents were the first to test it. But... the plane went down, and Icarus has never been the same. He gave up inventing, he dropped out of college, attempted suicide even. When none of his attempts worked, he was eventually hospitalized in a psychiatric ward, where he met the ghost Pokemon that resided on the grounds. He befriended them, they became the only things that understood him, and thus they became the only things he bonded with. One of the Pokemon possessed him and broke him out of the ward, and he has been on the run ever since. He fled from Hoenn, ending up here where he joined Team Infinite. He doesn't care much about them, in fact most of the time he disobeys their orders, as he lacks the motivation to carry out anything they actually command. He just wants to spend time with his new ghost friends.

Oh I thought that since Robyn had a full team she would have.... uh..... I have to say I don't really feel comfortable with her having such a strong team and no starter from Proffessor Sequoia..... hmmm) Okay i will allow it and since she has 7 badges from Sinnoh I'll let her skip like 4 or 5 gyms so she won't be too overpowered in those fights.) (Ah okay sorry) Edit:(Technically she does have a starter(Torterra) but I 100% understand what you were saying.) |
