Aaron sat back in his chair for a bit, going over his schedule in his head,"hmm, no I should be able to do it tomorrow morning. As far as I know I don't really have much planned for tomorrow, though I do believe I have a meeting later in the afternoon," he told her. "It's no problem, if I had anything I could have canceled it to go with you," he reassured her,"it's no trouble, and I'd like to accompany you. There's no telling what that brute could do."

"You're welcome, though really it's no problem," he insisted, watching her with an almost confused gaze. What was she doing? Though he didn't have to wait long to find out, and was honestly a little caught off guard when he received the quick and gentle kiss on his forehead. Clearing his throat, he regained his usual calm composure, nodding as she told him what she was going to be doing. "Would you like me to go with you for that as well?" he questioned when he noticed her still hanging about.

She was back within a half hour, papers in a folder. She stepped inside and sat down in the living room, staring at the papers with a strange expression, feeling dread in her chest at what would happen when she confronted Arnold. -

"Oh, okay," he watched her with an almost wary gaze because of how quickly she had responded and how high her voice got,"well, just call me if you need...anything..." he had hardly been able to finish before she had scampered off without so much as glancing back. "She was always weird," he mused to himself, jokingly of course. Lucy wasn't weird in the sense that she was strange, she was more, goofy? Was that the word he would use to describe her when she was acting his way or really in any happy manner? No. Silly, silly seemed more like the correct word. Not that it mattered much really, at least not anymore. He finished with his lunch, cleaned up the kitchen, and then he set to work on cleaning the rest of his apartment. Despite owning his own successful business and being worth quite a lot of money, Aaron never seemed interested in moving out of the nice apartment he lived in. At least, not while he was single. If he were ever to start a family then he'd move out to have more space, but right now since he was single and not in the dating game, nor did he see himself getting back into dating any time soon, he was content with living where he was at. When Lucy came back, Aaron was dusting the living room, looking over at the sound of footsteps. With a silent gaze he watched her like a hawk might watch a mouse before swooping in for the kill,"don't look so upset," he stated, turning back around to focus on what he was doing.

Aaron blinked in surprise when he was suddenly mocked by the woman, looking at her with raised brows and an expression that clearly showed he hadn't been expecting her to do that. "Didn't know you stooped to such childish levels now," he mused, looking back as he moved some books around to dust between them and the bookcase. "Stop worrying, it's how you make yourself sick," he responded,"I don't know why you have anything to worry about anyways, I'll be there and it's in a public place, he'd really have to be stupid to try anything. He'd be arrested practically on the spot, there are police and guards all over the place and besides, you have to go through all that security and what have you so it's not like he can bring a weapon into the building."

"Is that how that's going to work hmm?" he chuckled, looking over at her as she stood up and he raised a brow, watching her curiously. When she poked him in the chest, he blinked, looking around and then down at her. "So in order to ask if you can help, you had to poke me?" he teased before nodding,"actually yes, I don't particularly enjoy vacuuming, do you think you could do that for me?"

I used to be scared of dogs cause I've been bit twice, but my parents got a boxer puppy and that dog has changed my life in the 9 years he's been alive. And I wouldn't meet other dogs unless he was with me, he's helped me with all of my issues I have, and he's even gotten me over my fear of dogs)
Aaron had to stop, trying to look serious for a moment but he couldn't help the chuckle that escaped, grinning in amusement. "Well, I'd say that two of those things might be a little questionable, but one of them is right," he decided, smirking,"but I'll leave you to figure out which is which." He went and put up the duster before returning to the living room, looking around with a careful eye to try and see if there might be anything out of place or that needed cleaning.

She was glad that Aaron hadn't let her go to work, although she wouldn't tell him. She fell into her thoughts as she moved the vacuum around the house, thinking about the times she vacuumed her own house, with ...Arnold there. She nearly ran into the coffee table, but jumped back into focus quickly, glancing around the room, having already finished the kitchen in her stupor. -

Ah, yeah I imagine that could be pretty scary. I was bit by a dog we owned and also by a rescue dog. So I'm always wary about the idea of getting a rescue dog because it makes me nervous, but at the same time I'm not against it because that's saving an animal's life who didn't deserve to end up in that position in the first place)
Aaron was honestly really glad to see Lucy enjoying herself the way she was, it was much better than the way she'd been acting before she got away from Arnold. He watched her move around the house, picking up on her yawning and he was honestly glad that he'd managed to get her to stay in from work. He could only imagine the toll all of that had been taking on her body. When she almost ran into the coffee table he frowned slightly, watching with a careful eye now because he thought it might be because of fatigue and not because she was caught up in her thoughts.

I was thinking that July could get really sick. And I'm so sorry i've been taking so long to get replies, this puppy is tiring and this past week I've been sick as can be)
Aaron at first thought he had actually upset her and he wasn't going to apologize, it wasn't who he was. He was sinply going to tell her that it was reality and she would be foolish not to accept it. Howeber he didn't have to, not after he saw the teasing smile she was giving him. "I doubt he would be gentleman enough to actually honor a restraining order, though smart move on getting a body guard," he commented, watching her vaccuum before he set to work on retrieving his broom and dust pan to start sweeping the kitchen floor.

July followed after Damien, hunched over slightly as they trudged through the rain. Despite having gotten used to moving through forests and the like with Damien, he was falling a little behind as they walked now. Sniffling, he looked up at the dark elf with an almost pleading gaze. He had been feeling a little under the weather for the past few days, but today he was feeling even worse. "Do you see any place we can rest?" he asked, sneezing and doing his best to hurry so he could get closer to the other man and maybe warm up. The demon's usual fair skin looked even paler now, his eyes sort of hazy and sleepy looking, and he was moving slower than usual.

Aaron might have caught on to the fact that she meant for him to be her bodyguard, but he wasn't giving it away. Besides, he had a company to run, he couldn't be someone's body guard, not with all the meetings and things he had to attend. Anything was possible with that man really, and it was always a possibility for him to be in Lucy's life again but there was no way he'd be more than just a friend as long as she was still technically and legally married. He stopped and look dover at her, looking at the broom and then at her again, rolling his eyes,"oh yes, of course, using modern technology," he mused, putting the broom back,"I forgot, you don't do things the old fashioned way."

ROLEPLAY - Damien had been closely watching July since he started sneezing a few days ago, and had been progressively getting more and more concerned for his demon. He turned around and reached out to brush at July's hair. "We'll find a place soon." He whispered, sounding more like he was trying to convince himself. He turns around and crouched down, "climb on. I'll carry you." His force was soft, but firm, leaving no room for argument. "Hopefully you can warm up a little by being closer." He thought for a moment, "tell me what it was like in the coffee shop before you met me." He asked, trying to keep something to keep July awake while they were still in the cold. He could rest when they were dry and warm.

Lucy hadn't thought about that, and it suddenly occurred to her while she continued and she blushed slightly at the suggestion and was half tempted to take it back. Lucy laughed quietly. "I forgot that you do." She grinned st him in a teasing way. "You claim that you hate vacuuming but-" she was cut off by a yawn and then blushed again. "-you sweep! Vacuuming take so much less effort! And you can take the bag out and throw all the junk out with no mess!" She waved the cleaner around again to prove her point. She grinned again, bordering on a smirk. "If you don't use it then why do you have it, eh?"

"Okay," he leaned into his touch, closing his eyes and breathing in deep. He was warm to the touch, more-so than he usually was, but at the same time he was freezing cold. He watched as Damien crouched down, moving forward and climbing up onto his back slowly, wrapping his arms around him, his tail drooping because he wasn't going to waste any energy in keeping it up. "I'm so cold," he murmured, resting his head against the man's back, closing his eyes. "It was kind of boring at that point, it was the usual people really. I was just in there to enjoy a drink and people watch, it was always interesting watching other people and wondering what their lives must be like outside of that little shop you know? What were their families like, their jobs? Did they enjoy their lives or did they wish things were different? It was starting to get repetitive though, and if you hadn't come by I doubt I would have stuck around longer than a week."

"Oh please, sweeping is just the same if not easier than vacuuming. It's not even that hard, you simply pull it along and sweep up the dust and then throw it away. With a vacuum you have to take it out and plug it in and turn it on and then drag it around all the time," he opined out,"sweeping is so much more efficient, at least with hard floors." Shaking his head, he smirked as he set the broom aside, walking over to her and crossing his arms over his chest,"I have it because how else am I going to vacuum my carpet and get it clean? Just because I hate it doesn't mean I'm not going to do it, it needs to get done."

ROLEPLAY - "I know." Damien responded quietly to his first statement, picking up the pace as well. He was cold himself, the twain not helping, but he was no where near as bad as July was. He wouldn't admit it but he was worried. Worried that July would get so much worse. He would get to a point where Damien couldn't look after him anymore. He laughed softly at what July was saying, but it was more forced than anything. "But you met Aoife there." He pointed out softly. "A dragon flirting with you would definitely be a highlight, an I right?"

Lucy laughed quietly. "You're right I suppose." She poked her tongue at him and smirked teasingly. "Like always." When he walked over to her, her smile faded slightly and she need a quick moment to remind herself that this was Aaron, not Arnold and he wouldn't hurt her. She was ashamed that she was flinching in front of Aaron in the first place and her face went a little red as she shuffled away from him. "S-sorry." She mumbled, turning her gaze towards the vacuum cleaner. "J-just ingrained habits now, y'know?" -
