This is a 1x1 for gaster and I, please don't post c:
July took a sip of his warm drink, reclining back happily and contentedly, letting out a sigh as he watched the small crowd around him. It was a nice, friendly little cafe that he frequented often. Often enough that he knew every face that came in here. Not necessarily knowing who the people were, just what they looked like and sometimes what they ordered. Crossing one leg over the other with an almost dainty manner he took another sip before adjusting his glasses carefully. It appeared as though every movement he made was precise and deliberate, with a touch of gracefulness to them. The steam from his mug fogged up the lenses of his glasses on occasion. Leaning his head back, he looked towards the window off to the side, watching the people walking about on the sidewalk. It seemed like a usual, boring sort of day. Which wasn't really a bad thing, but it was nice having some excitement every now and again right? The young demon's tail tapped his chair with a slow and easy rhythm, almost like the ticking of a clock. It was thin and a decent length, long but not long enough to ever touch the ground. Not that he'd ever let it hit the ground, not with his confident and pretentious attitude. The end came to a sharp point, what one could consider the stereotypical shape that a demon's tail "should" look like. His small horns poked out from his pink and blue hair, almost unnoticeable. His pale light blue eyes almost blended into the whites they were so pale, glancing around every now and again. If only he knew what was in store for him that day.

ROLEPLAY- Damien took his time before leaving the hotel room he was squatting in. It was in the middle of a large project that had been under construction but was currently on hold because of money issues. He didn't care. It was a roof over his head and hardly anyone came in, apart from those, like him, who didn't wish to be found.
He ran a hand through his chopped white hair in the mirror sulkily. He had had to cut it to avoid recognition and he missed his long hair like it was apart of him - which it basically had been. He pulled his hood over his head and sighed as he pulled on his gloves, hiding away his dark grey skin. He would have worn contacts to hide his blood red eyes, but his dark-elf skin was a giveaway on its own, so he didn't bother as he stepped out on the street, moving towards the coffee shop a few blocks away from his home-not-home. -

"What a dull and dreary day," he murmured, voice heavy with a French accent and soft sounding, smooth like honey. "Nothing interesting ever happens around here, unless I start it," he sighed, shaking his head in disappointment. Setting his cup down carefully, he sat up a little, making sure his outfit still looked good. Not that it really would have mattered, he'd been sitting since he got there and while he didn't have anyone to impress he still felt like he wanted to impress the whole world. Gentle fingers outlined the handle on the mug, eyes locked on the liquid that was left, watching the steam rise from it. Taking another sip and putting the cup back down he turned his attention towards the window to watch the people once more. It was a quiet little hobby of his and probably one of his safer ones if he was going to be honest. It was just so interesting to watch all those people going about their day, wondering what their lives must be like, what they were up to, where they were going, and when their lives might come to an end. Something caught his eyes among the crowd though, causing him to raise a brow. "What a suspicious looking fellow," he mused to himself, watching the hooded figure with an interested gaze.
They looked like the kind of person July interacted with, usually that was at night or tucked away in the corner somewhere, gambling and exchanging gossip or stolen goods and the like. The demon might have looked like a well dressed poster child, but he couldn't help but giving in to his demonic instincts. His weren't really that bad, usually it was just gambling, striking deals with people, stealing and breaking and entering whenever he grew bored. So he would always insist that he wasn't a bad guy, and there were worse people out there than him. One of his main arguing points was that he wasn't violent like some of his brethren, and he never intended to cause harm to other living beings so nobody could give him and sort of slack for the things he did. The demon couldn't get a good look at the person's face, and it kind of frustrated him to an extent. What sort of person just walked around looking all shady like that? One could only assume a trouble maker.

ROLEPLAY- Damien stepped inside the small coffee shop and ordered a large take away mug of straight black coffee, handing over a couple of crumpled bills to pay for it. The waitress leant a little closer to try and get a look at him when she handed the elf his coffee, but Damien flinched away and went to leave when he saw July. He stared for a moment too long before he pulled his hood further down his face, took a deep drag from his mug and started towards the door.
The fewer people who noticed him would be better, at least, until he could get out of the country. -

Looking almost like some sort of movie villain as he sat with one leg crossed over the other, mug in hand as he watched the newcomer with an intense gaze from over his glasses, an intrigued smile on his lips. As Damien looked over, July made sure he made and held eye contact with him, smile turning to a smirk. He didn't get a really good look at the man's face, only his eyes and they were eyes that told a story as far as he was concerned. Finishing up the last of his drink, he set the cup down and stood, making his way towards the door. He wasn't about to let such an interesting thing slip by, it looked like it might be the only thing to spice up his day at the moment. Following him out the door, he glanced about before making his way towards the crowd, keeping his tail held high, the upper half bending down towards the ground and flicking as he walked. "Excuse me, sir?" he called out, voice still soft and almost alluring. Slipping through people, he carefully made his way after the stranger. Did this man know that the way he was moving and acting was probably going to draw more attention to him than he might have wanted.

ROLEPLAY- Damien wasn't the master of subtly - in fact, he really was quite horrible at it. He normally relied on his speed to get away from messy situations. He abandoned his only half-drunk coffee as he felt the eyes on his back and sped his pace up a little. He went rigid when July called out and almost ran away, but the lack of accusation in the demon's voice made him pause.
Had July been working for the government, he likely would have been tackled and dragged away already ... right? Damien turned his head slightly, looking over his shoulder back at his tail.-

"Take a picture, I hear it lasts longer," he stated when he caught the other eyeing his tail,"you know, you're drawing an awful lot of attention to yourself sneaking around the way you are," he mused. July wasn't a very tall person, only standing at around maybe 5'7", a little more if you counted his horns. "So what's got you slinking about like some sort of snake hm?" Taking a step forward, he tilted his head slightly in an attempt to see the face under the hood. "Are you some sort of big shot celebrity hoping none of your fans recognize you? Or are you possibly some sort of wanted man? Either way, pretty brave of you to go strutting about, whether you're wanted by fans or by police." His tail twitched in amusement as he watched the other, trying to figure out if he'd seen him somewhere because he seemed almost familiar, like he'd at least seen a picture of him before.

ROLEPLAY- Damien remained silent as his eyes flicked up and down July. Not human then, quite obviously. Most likely a demon, so most likely an enemy. "What business is it of yours?" He asked coolly, head tilted to the side slightly, hands twitching at his sides before he slipped his thumbs into his belt loops. He would have walked away by now, but non-human creatures had always intrigued him, despite knowing that that interest may get him killed. -

OH...whoops :,) )
"Well, I've not seen you around, especially that wonderful little cafe you just visited a few moments ago, and I know almost everyone who goes in and out of that place," he explained,"and you're a new face. Besides, there are a few people around here who have probably called the cops right about now if we're going to be perfectly honest. You look like you've just robbed a bank or something." July had managed to catch a glimpse of the other's face and the color on it, and it didn't take more than a few seconds for him to put two and two together. No human had that coloring, and there was really only one non human race he knew of that had that sort of skin color. "I'm July," he offered him a hand and a smile, revealing his somewhat sharp teeth and it was hard to tell if the demon was someone you could trust or not.

ROLEPLAY- Damien didn't quite believe that the cops had been called. He had paid for his drink, so what was the problem? He stared at July for a long moment before reaching out his hand to return the handshake, but he didn't offer his name. He wasn't sure what to make of the demon, nor was he even sure that he could trust him, but he did still have some magical skill to back him up. Enough for him to get away if he needed. -

Did July know if the cops had been called? Nope! He just figured he might as well say they could have been because of his shady new acquaintance, maybe it would give him more of an upper hand in this conversation. "You don't appear to be much of a talker, what a shame," he stated after shaking the other's hand, cocking his hip and crossing his arms over his chest. It was probably wise for Damien to be wary of July, who knew if he could be trusted or not. Not only was he a demon, but he didn't exactly have an air about him that said "trust me!". "So, are you new in town?" he asked, offering up a soft smile that he found usually worked on people, he'd heard it often described as charming and well hey, maybe he could charm this guy into answering his questions. Though with the way things are going he wasn't going to really put a lot of hope in getting answers from this strange man any time soon.

His eyes seemed to light up at the small little bit of information he got,"oh? Skipping out already? You haven't seen all the wonderful things this place has to offer," he told him jokingly. "Besides, why would you want to get out of town so quickly? That's oddly suspicious of you really." Tilting his head, he flicked his tail slightly before chuckling,"I promise not to tell anyone if you tell me why you have to get out of town by tomorrow night. Hey, maybe I could help?" Could he help?" Well that was debatable. Would he help? Who knew. What July did know was that this could be fun and interesting and he wanted to be in on it. If only he knew who he was talking about.

OOC CHATTER {{ - sorta bad post?? - }}
ROLEPLAY- Damien glared at him, opting to stay silent as July went on. After a moment, he turned around and started to walk away, deciding not to get involved with July. He'd made mistakes before, and he was afraid of doing the same again with July. He didn't know of he could trust the demon, and with the tensions as high as they were, even if he could trust July, letting him get involved with Damien's business would surely lead to badness on both sides.
Best he deal with his problems on his own. -

You are fine my friend, I'm struggling myself right now and I apologize)
Was that a glare he spotted from under the man's hood? He waited expectantly for a reply, but when the other simply turned and began walking away, July narrowed his eyes, watching in disbelief. Uncrossing his arms, he started after him, keeping up a brisk and quick pace until he caught up. "That was rather rude of you, walking away from a conversation like that. Especially after I offered to help you," he snorted, glaring at the other,"are you just assuming that you shouldn't associate with me because I'm a demon, I'd be offended if it was. I'd like to say I'm one of the few you can actually put your trust in. I have nothing to gain from tricking you I can assure you." Unless Damien happened to have a bounty on his head, and then July might think about turning him in for a reward, but there was no guarantee that he would actually do it. "Or do you think of yourself as some sort of....lone wolf, one of those big shots who thinks that only they can deal with their problems and nobody else can help?"

ROLEPLAY- Damien peered at July as he started speaking again, but he continued on without speaking for some time, finally, he sighed, peered up at the street lights to see if there were any signs of cameras before stopping once again, stepping off to the side of the footpath so not to block the path for pedestrians.
"It's got nothing to do with you being a demon." He said coolly, although he himself wasn't sure if that was the case. He felt his face heat up a little at the lone wolf comment because that perfectly described him, and he was glad for his hood to hide how flustered he was about it. "I - I just..." His shoulders went rigid as a police car tore past them, on the way towards the coffee shop he had been in early and he almost felt sick.
No one could have reported him, right? He was being careful, right...? -

Oh no no no, you're perfectly fine! It's also a bit difficult because I'm still working on July's personality. So he might change a bit here and there and be inconsistent)
"You know, conversations usually go both ways," he stated with a bit of a pout,"it wouldn't kill you to say even a single word. Even telling me to go away would be better than this silent treatment." When he stepped off to the side, July followed, watching him curiously as he seemed to be looking up at the street lights. Following his gaze, he blinked a couple times. Had this man seen something? Oh gosh, what if he was some crazy lunatic trying to lure him in to kill him or something!? Not that it mattered, the demon had confidence in his strength and skills, maybe a little too much but at least he was confident. "Ah, so you can speak, and here I was getting worried that maybe you couldn't," he smirked, unable to see his reaction to being called out on being a lone wolf. "You just what?" he raised a brow, watching the way he seemed to tense up as a police car drove by. Watching it with an amused gleam in his eye, he looked back up at the other with an arrogant look on his face,"see, told you you were drawing too much attention to yourself," he stated in a sing songy tone,"my my my, wonder what's got them in a rush. Are you a criminal perhaps?"

ROLEPLAY- Damein slowly turned to face July, "not in the sense you're thinking." He said blankly, although his voice did have the slightest of trembles as he started walking again, his pace brisker than last time as he made his way back to the hotel he had been staying in. Perhaps if he got his things and moved on, the police would only find traces of him and not actually him. -

"Well why don't you clear it up then hmm?" he asked, following after him closely because now that he had gotten him to talk he didn't want to just give it up and abandon all this. He knew that if he did his curiosity would probably end up killing him because he'd go on with his life wondering what could have happened if he had been persistent in trying to talk with Damien. "Is this where you're staying? What a dreary looking place, if you'd like you can always stay with me. It'd be much better than this...rat hole," he glanced around in digest at the place, seeming to be very careful to not touch even anything around the outside area of where the hotel was located. "So what are you wanted for? Robbery, burglary, kidnapping....murder?"

ROLEPLAY- Damien peered at him out of the corner of his eye as he stepped into the rat hole of a home he had. He asked, looking forward. -

July kept up with him, an almost enthusiastic little jump in his step. When the other pulled his hood down he looked up at him curiously before gasping softly. "Oh, well aren't you a bad boy," he grinned,"I knew I'd seen you around somewhere. You're the most wanted little traitor," he giggled. Now this was getting interesting, who knew he'd been following around a notorious little traitor. "If I'm going to be perfectly honest with you it's because I have nothing better to do. My life is a litfle dull at the moment and I could use the excitement."

ROLEPLAY- Damien scowled and rolled his eyes, although didn't deny the accusation because, while his intentions had been different to anyone else deciding to go against their country, he still did try to kill the political leader while in office. He moved into the room he had been staying in and picked up a knapsack, proceeding to throw all of his meagre possessions into it.
"Don't you demons exist just to annoy humans?" He asked as he pulled his hood up, checking the mirror to see if his hair was hidden. "I don't understand why humans can be dull. They're so ..." He made a face. "I see what you mean." He finally conceded. -

"Tch, what an awful assumption to make, no we don't exist just to annoy humans. What are you dark elves good for? Spooky bed time stories?" he countered with a scowl. "Demons exist to cause all sorts of mischief and cause problems, everyone has a different sort....purpose I guess is the best way to describe it," he explained, putting his hands behind his back as he walked around, looking over the place with an almost disapproving gaze. "Neither do I, it's honestly kind of boring, it's why I prefer the company of more eccentric individuals and people like yourself," he mused, looking over at him,"do you know?"

"Isn't that what I told you I wanted to do?" he asked with an amused tone, turning to the other and nodding confidently,"of course I can. You'll just have to trust me now won't you?" Creeping over to the window, he peeked out with a hum before looking over at him,"come on now, don't dawdle. I can only do so much you know," he told him, slipping out of the room and making his way out of the building now. Oh this was going to be so much fun! Though, in the grand scheme of things if someone saw him with Damien than he would be guilty by association. Not that it mattered, he didn't intend to get caught anyways.

As far as he was concerned he didn't need to draw any attention to himself or Damien, and that meant acting as normal as someone like him could.
