Past, present, and future tense. I'm a little curious if you know anything about it. Also, what's the difference between active and passive voice?

What do you want to know about past, present, and future tenses?
Active voice is more direct. The subject is doing an action, for example, "The girl ate the pancake." Passive voice is less direct and the subject is acted upon. For example, "The pancake was eaten by the girl." Passive voice involves a lot of "was" and "were" and the subject is always after the action, whereas active voice is more to the point.

Like, the differences between the three? ^^' I always mix them up or forget one, or how to best use them. Hum. That's actually very helpful for the next time my grammar check yells at me.

Past- happened in the past relative to the speaker. So if you have a character telling a story about something that happened previously, past tense is the tense to use. When using past tense you'd use verbs ending in -ed like "She jumped." Present- is currently happening. Used if a character is just narrating what is currently happening to them. Example would be "She jumps." Future- something that will happen. Not commonly seen unless in dialogue, used mostly if a character is saying something like "I will go to the store." You'll likely see the words will or is going to.
Glad I could help c:

Hum... Okay. The future one is hard! I've kind of been entertaining the idea of using future tense in a story, just to see how it would work only I couldn't remember what it was...whoops. Thank you!

It would be interesting if you pulled it off! I think it would probably work best with second person in my opinion. If you ever write something in future, let me know.
