I normally don't post in the Cats
But I just recently found out that Lilywhisker from Tallstar's Revenge went to the Dark Forest
I wasn't really that attached to her as a character but this makes me angry
On the wiki, it says that 'she couldn't accept her fate and her broken leg so she went to the Dark Forest'
Um. No.

It might not even be canon anymore, after that whole fiasco with Vicky and Su. Unless it actually appears in the books, I wouldn't dwell on it too much.

It might not even be canon anymore, after that whole fiasco with Vicky and Su. Unless it actually appears in the books, I wouldn't dwell on it too much. wait what fiasco??? im so out of the loop Long story short, Su Susan was Vicky's helper. Much of the fandom was furious with Su several months ago for putting cats in the dark forest that didn't belong there. However, she also did this thing called "Missing Kits", where she gave identities to missing or unnamed kits, such as Cloudtail's siblings. It was well received by many people and confirmed by Vicky to be canon. This information was added to the wiki and everything. When LoTC came out, Su got misblamed for several inconsistencies and unsavory plot ideas that were actually Vicky's work. I heard that Su was even sent death threats, but that's probably just a rumor. Regardless, both of them received massive amounts of backlash.. Shortly after, Vicky announced that she was quitting the series for good, and that the "Missing Kits" thing was only Su's headcanons and therefore not canon, contradicting what she'd previously stated. She never clarified whether or not the rest of Su's statements are canon. There's more to the story, but that's all I can remember. So yea. There you have it. :/

Cinderpelt couldn't accept her injury: gets reincarnated
Lilywhisker couldn't accept her injury: goes to the dark forest
logic
(I'm still bitter I'm sorry)

I hope it's not canon, because it doesn't make all that much sense. The only time we see Lilywhisker in the books, she's amiable and sweet.
Sure, things could have happened since that one scene, but until I see in-text proof [proof that won't be blatantly contradicted], I'm not counting it as part of the series canon.

She couldn't accept her injury, so she killed someone else and stole their leg. I don't see what's so hard about this. It's like Blizzardwing being Cedarstar's murderer.

Cinderpelt couldn't accept her injury: gets reincarnated Lilywhisker couldn't accept her injury: goes to the dark forest logic (I'm still bitter I'm sorry) There's a difference with Cinderpelt though. She did accept her injury, she was only reincarnated because of author favoritism.
