She shook her head, deciding what to do. “Come on,” she meowed. “I’m going to take you back to my Clan’s medicine cat. I don’t think I know enough to be able to help you…” She tried to nudge Rush to his paws.

Rush wobbled to his paws, leaning heavily against Skyflower. The blood on his pelt rubbed off against her silver coat as he supported himself on her. His body wretched as he began to hack on the floor, globules of blood being sent across the leaves. His pain slightly subsided as they continued through the forest, thanks to the poppy seeds. Though, he was still rather dizzy and unsteady from blood loss.
Wolfpaw smiled slightly, pride burning in his breast at his mentor's praise. Though he was just relieved that Tanglepath had obliged without him having suffered any scratches. "Here, I'll come with you," he offered, rising to his paws.

Skyflower walked slowly, supporting Rush as they made their way back to camp. She guided him into the camp. "Slitherfoot! Mosspaw! Come quickly!" She yowled.
Goldenfawn saw Thunderheart outside of the warriors' den and noticed that he looked depressed. She padded over to him. "Hey, what's wrong?" She asked.

(I'll wait until 👻videocassette👻 can reply too, before I do much with Mosspaw) Mosspaw turned her head sharply as a yowl resounded through the camp. She poked her head out of the den, her fur standing on end. "Slitherfoot, someone's hurt!" She frantically meowed over her shoulder. Thunderheart raised his head as the beautiful she-cat approached. He huffed once more and sat up, parting his jaws to respond. He was interrupted as Skyflower erupted into the camp, yowling. Tanglepath turned her head to face the commotion, craning her neck to see over the cluster of cats. That smell... Her tabby pelt rose along her spine, a look of combined shock and fear on her face.

Goldenfawn sat down beside Thunderheart, pressing up against his side. She looked up at Skyflower and the injured rogue in surprise. ANOTHER stranger?

Moonblazer : Lynxpaw purred. “Why not just go on our own?” He suggested, shuffling his paws. Rustlepaw gave a quick grin, nodding in agreement. "Excellent idea, Lynxpaw! Better than waiting for a warrior to pay us the time of day!" She flicked her tail.

Lynxpaw laughed. "Let's go, then!" He trotted toward the camp entrance.

Rustlepaw scampered after him, having to press her muzzle even closer to the ground to feel the snow covered rocks, but she was fiercely determined to keep up with the other apprentice. She called to him. "Where should we go first?"

"Let's try close by. Can't go too far out yet. Er..." Rustlepaw reached for the trees she used to know her way around easier, but lightly scowled when she realized the snow was making it harder to feel for the right roots. She shook her head, deciding to let the scents and luck guide her. Padding carefully, she ignored the burn of cold on her nose as she felt around her and scented for any prey.

Lynxpaw followed her, wanting to step forward to guide her but knowing that would hurt her pride if he did so. He watched her carefully, ready to jump forward to help her if he needed to, though.

Rustlepaw paused as she sniffed very carefully, finally picking up on a scent. "Bird." She recited, before turning her head in different directions to try and address where she scented Lynxpaw. "I won't be able to stalk birds well, but I can catch them if you get them close enough to me." She offered, determined.

Lynxpaw parted his jaws and located the thrush, pecking at something underneath an oak tree not far away. "You stay right where you are," he murmured to her. "I'll chase it toward you." He started stalking around to the other side.

"Alright! Now we're in business." Rustlepaw cheered to herself, settling into what she felt to be snow covered underbrush. Ignoring the spiking cold on her pelt, she focused on her hearing and scenting to gat an idea of how close Lynxpaw and their prey was coming. She'd have to depend on sound and reaction time, praying to Starclan that they'd let her catch at least one bird this moon. Her last attempts had been rather bad...

Lynxpaw crept up behind the thrush and shrieked to scare it, watching as it flew right toward Rustlepaw. "It's coming right at you!" He yowled.

Rustlepawtook the que, thankful that Lynxpaw had cried that out. It made it easier for her to lash forwards, leaping from the bush and letting her claws sink into whatever she felt. Which, thank Starclan, was far warmer and active than the snow. She pinned the bird down, taking a few seconds to locate it's neck, before killing it. She gave a sound of delight, calling out. "It worked! We caught it!"

"Well, thanks to you, Lynxpaw! You chased it right towards me. Had it been an inch off, I'd have flailed my paws about!" Rustlepaw nudged the other tom, her sightless eyes gleaming with joy. She flicked her ears and felt around for the Thrush. "Should we bury it and continue?"

(Ayyy i'm game for it.)
Rustlepaw gave a small start at his lick of her ears, though she quickly relaxed and gave a toothy grin, feeling a strange kind of warmth she hadn't really experienced before. "I think I want to keep going." She pawed around, beginning to dig a hole to bury the Thrush. She asked. "Can you get this when we come back? I'm not very good with finding the prey I buried!"

Lynxpaw purred. "Of course," he meowed. He helped her to bury the thrush, and then looked around. "Unfortunately, I think my screeching scared all the prey in the area... We should try somewhere else."

"Sounds good to me. Lead the way, Lynxpaw." Rustlepaw snickered, giving a bold look of determination. Her hopes were higher due to her catch, and she found herself enjoying his company. He and Mushroompaw had both been incredibly kind, but also not too invasive. She appreciated that, feeling like an equal, and being able to feel proud of how she could help them.

Oakscar smiled, bounding in the soft snow. "Great, isn't it?" he said cheerfully. Darkshadow followed him awkwardly and neatly, trying to get as little snow as possible on her paws. "On the contrary, it clashes too much with my fur," she grumbled.

Lynxpaw trotted off toward the forest, glancing over his shoulder to be sure that Rustlepaw was following. He sniffed the air and smelled squirrel. He looked around and spotted it. "There's a squirrel over there," he murmured. "Do you want me to chase it to you?"

"Maybe this time I can chase it to you? Turn me right towards where you see it, and I'll move forwards?" Rustlepaw offered a bit hopefully, her cloudy eyes flickering. She could scent the prey, but wanted to br sure she could chase it to him.

Rustlepaw nodded quickly, moving forward with a loud meow, startling the bird. She chased it, stumbling suddenly on a snow covered root, and falling on her chin. Luckily, the bird was started right towards Lynxpaw's position, and she ignored the sting in her chin to call. "Go Lynxpaw!"
