You have the ability to add custom fields for profiles on here, yes? As in, you may create them and have other users access these fields and enter them.
If so, is it possible for you to implement a gender field, or alter the current one; to expect users to have to choose one of two genders here (a website that I believe prides itself on being more open than the Warrior Cats Forums) is offensive, and it would most likely be in the best interests of the moderation team if they would allow users this option. Though this is more of a suggestion than question, I believe it fits here moreso than other forums. Thanks.

I support this, but it may take some time to get it going. I'm pretty sure Tomorrow is swamped with things and they [anyone know their gender pronouns?] may be trying to add stuff that some may be already asking.

As Roswell said, there is an option, but Hero would have to add it manually. Give them time to work things out.

I agree. I believe it is possible -- probable even -- that this change will occur soon, maybe even with other orientation options available should one wish to display them.
However, I would advise y'all to be patient on this, as problems with navigation/usability should be the priority during the birth of the new forums. I agree that this is an big issue, but there are other problems that need to be fixed first that will make the new forums a safer and easier place to settle in. Changes will come, but it may take time. <3

You guys know you can hide it right? I'm sure they do, but it would be nice to give them some visibility rather than having them have to hide their identity. It's a feature that can be set out in the future once things settle here, but sooner would be better than later. |

The male or female choice is a proboards thing that can't be altered or removed, but having an extra field would be really nice. On the new forums (the one with lots of drama and controversy surrounding it haha) this is what the admin did, and had the theme display it on the user box next to forum replies. I'm bad at explaining, but being genderqueer myself, I was really happy with that system.
