Grace shivered briefly before moving inside to look back at him. "Thanks." She said softly.
Logan smiled and wrapping her arm around him. "I love you Tarak." She said softly. "Merry Christmas." She looked up at him.

Tarak smiled, "I love you too, Logan. And Merry Christmas." He lifted her head a little higher with his hand and kissed her.
Sota only nodded and followed her inside, "What do you want?" He asked motioning towards the menu.

"Oh uh." Grace thought about it a moment. She then moved up to order her drink. She got some coffee thing with cream and sugar.
Logan smiled a little before he leaned down to kiss her. She reached a hand up to cup his cheek, kissing him back

"Hey you didn't have to pay for mine." Grace looked at him with a small frown.
Logan smiled and looked at him. "And don't forget how lucky you are. I'm a catch." She teased him.

Sota watched her go curiously, he was trying to be nice by paying for her drink, did he do something wrong? He thanked the man who made his cocoa and followed her to a table, "You alright?" He asked calmly.
Tarak shrugged, "I'm perfectly content." He admitted, "Got a warm fire, a comfy couch, and my girl in my arms. What else could I ask for?"

"I'm fine." Grace looked at him. "I just didn't mean for you to pay for me.." she said. She was so bad at this, he probably hated her. She just liked him a lot but her awkwardness was overwhelming.
Logan looked at him. "A dog?" She said with a small chuckle, just teasing hmm.

"Cats tend to eat birds." Tarak replied simply, "You can like them, but I won't."

"Keeping my brother in line." Sota shook his head, it was a jest to him, but his tone suggested otherwise, "I've been working at the grocery store. It helps pay rent and tuition."
"Yeah, but they generally can't catch them." Tarak replied calmly, "Cats are sneaky little things while a bird has time to fly away when it hears a dog coming."

Sota shrugged, "Preparing for the debate team? Trying to figure out what I want to do with my life?" He had no idea what he wanted to do out of college and he had a hard time admitting it. What did she want from him?
"Especially if they look like foxes?" Tarak teased as he flicked her nose.

"I shouldn't have to be pulling you two apart!" Nicole snapped sharply as her sharp blue eyes looked from one college student to the other, "This is a University, NOT a high school! You want to brawl, you do it on your own time OFF of campus! But I will not have this University humiliated by the likes of two freshmen who can't swallow their pride!" "But Ms. North--" "No excuses!" Nicole snapped back at the boy, "Now off with with both of you, I don't want to hear that anything like this has happened on my campus again, do you understand?!" "Yes ma'am." Both freshmen chimed, turning their eyes to the ground. Nicole felt satisfied that she got to both of them with how they couldn't even glare at each other after their petty fight. She straightened her clothes as she watched both boys head off before saying a few words to the instructors that brought it to her attention. With that she took her leave to head back to her office where a mound of paperwork was already waiting for her. "The fire chief needs to inspect the new building." She muttered, sitting back at her desk as she looked over the papers that piled so thickly, she couldn't even tell what color her desk was anymore, "There was another food complaint at the Union so the health inspector will be dropping by. The Econ college is complaining about budget cuts, I need to find a new head of agriculture." Nicole let out a long sigh and dropped her head into her hands for a moment's break from the mass she had to deal with, before she pulled out her new organizer. Holding it in her hands she couldn't help but think back to Christmas break when Celous gave it to her. It had been well over a month since the time she spent with Skye family, and really she hadn't hardly seen any of them since. With the start of the new semester, everyone was as busy as ever. Nicole let out another sigh. Celous had gotten her car out of the ditch despite all the snow that covered it and he even helped her fix it. I need to repay him somehow. she thought sadly, she really missed spending time with him. She opened the organizer to add to her to-do list when three things fell out. The first two were pictures, and the last was a note. Nicole's brow furrowed in confusion seeing them, she flipped the first picture over and her eyes blinked in surprise. The picture was of the evening Christmas Day. She and Celous had their backs to the camera as they watched the storm raging outside. In the picture, Nicole was leaned against Celous as the old fighter had his arm held around her shoulder. Nicole brushed her white bangs out of her eyes, feeling a blush coming to her cheeks, and she flipped over the second picture, her hand covering her mouth in her shock. This picture was from the night of Chirstmas Eve, she and Celous were standing at the far end of the hallway in his house, blankets covered the ground at their feet as they had fallen out of the closet and above their heads was the mistletoe, but Nicole couldn't take her eyes from her and Celous. The old fighter had her chin held gently in his rough hand and both of their eyes were closed as their lips shared their first kiss. Nicole quickly swept the pictures into her desk to make sure no one else could see them as red fully flushed her cheeks. Her mind was trying to figure out why they were there. The twins. she realized almost numbly, the twins had to have been the ones to take the pictures, Oh no... silently she prayed that they didn't post them up on any of the social media websites. She almost forgot the note was there as her frantic mind worried about what would happen if anyone found out about her Christmas spent with the Skyes, but when she turned back to her organizer to try and focus on work and not worry about, she spotted it. He misses you, you know. Though five words were all it said. She was expecting blackmail, the twins wanted her to boost their grades or they'd show everyone the pictures, but instead it was just those five simple words. A slice of sorrow cut into her heart as her mind pictured Celous' face. He missed her? And I miss him. she admitted to herself. She let out a sigh and closed her eyes, but what could she do to reach out to him? Her eyes looked over at the picture frame that held her dear picture of her and late finacee. She stared at it for long moments and honestly she almost wished it was Celous in the picture with her, "I'm sorry, Ronnie." She said suddenly, reaching for the picture. She took it from its spot on the desk and moved it to one of the drawers. THe dean glanced up to make sure no one was walking past her office and she took one of the pictures of her and Celous and she tapped it to the inside back of her organizer where only her eyes would see it. Nicole let out a breath as she looked back at her desk covered in papers, reports, and requests. She looked to her computer and searched for the calendar and she couldn't help but give a soft smile. Tonight there was the wrestling team's one month fight club and at tonight's club she knew the other schools would be there and different styles of fighting matches would occur for bragging rights. Nicole had heard from the wrestlers that every year at the Spring Semester's first fight club, the coaches would brawl for rights on which coach was the best fighter for the year. In previous years, Nicole made Celous opt out of the fight. Not wanting to risk injuries to her wrestling and football coach, her students hated her for her choice, and though Celous' pride took a fall every time he listened to her, he followed her instructions without complaint. "I think I know where I'm going tonight." She told herself, a smile widening on her face.

It was located out in the back fields of the University where unused agricultural equipment was stored. Official this fight cloud didn't exist, Nicole was even sure that the deans in the other universities didn't even know about it, but she had first learned of it when Celous first started working for her. The old fighter didn't know it was that big of a secret at the time and he let it slip to her. There was a large amount of cars surrounding the area and Nicole knew most of the belonged to the students who had learned of the fight club and had come to watch. She ended up having to park almost a mile away, but the closer she got, she more she spotted vehicles she could recognize. She spotted Cedar's run down chevy parked next to cars that belonged to the other members of the football team and right up front she spotted Celous' truck, parked to--no doubt--the vehicles of the other universities' coaches. The closer she got it, the louder it got. She could hear the calls of the students cheering for their own schools from the abandoned equipment they turned into their bleachers. As she continued on, a few students spotted her and turned tail as if they weren't supposed to be there, but she payed them no mind. While at school that day, she had been wearing her professional clothes, but before arriving tonight, she had changed into jeans, boots, and a black tank top, and even allowed her hair to fall down. "I bet Coach Bracken is going to win again this year." a student stated, catching Nicole's ear. She turned to listen to their conversation, both students were from her school from the looks of their hoodies. "Yeah, this'll be--what? His third year in a row?" The other student replied rolling his eyes. "I bet Coach Skye could take him." The first snorted, "Too bad Ms. North won't let him fight." They then walked off, not spotting the dean. Nicole paused a moment, watching them go with a raised eyebrow. The abandoned agricultural equipment was set up surrounding a ring. When Nicole reached the end of it, she could spot Cedar and Ashton with the rest of Moonrise U's fighting team. The other schools were also separated in their own huddles, encouraging each other for the night. Their coaches were a bit more difficult to spot. Nicole assumed they would be with their students, but instead she spotted them near a tractor, discussing things of their own. Celous was leaned against the tractor, with his arms crossed, his attention was on the other three coaches as he listened to them talk. Nicole waited where she was to see what would happen. Eight o'clock hit and the uproar of the students was growing louder. One of the coaches checked his watch and made a comment before the four of them started out into the center ring. Coach Bracken raised his hands to quiet the students, "We're glad you could all make it tonight!" He called, having to shout in order to be heard by everyone since he didn't have a microphone, "We're expecting to see some pretty good fights tonight from our teams as everyone wants to own the bragging rights for their school!" He was met with a loud cheering response, "As per tradition!" he began slowly, "Last year's victor school will present the glove!" He motioned over toward his own students. Nicole followed his gaze to see one of their largest boys carrying an old beaten boxing glove, he held it up high and the crowd seemed to go nuts for it. Nicole almost looked at in disgust, that was the thing the schools fought over? "As most of you know, this glove belonged to the founder of our Fight Club! And tonight's matches will determine who will be claiming it until next year! We'll start with student fights and then we'll get to what you all are waiting the most for!" Coach Bracken turned to look at the other coach, "The fight between three of us, as Coach Skye is faithfully benched." Nicole could hear the mocking in his voice, and she saw the angered look in Celous' eyes, though he didn't say a word.
She went unnoticed throughout the night as everyone was too intent on the fights to see her. At first Nicole had a hard time watching as these were full on fights, with blood, sweat, and tears--she was pretty sure this was illegal. But as the night drew on, she found herself pulled into the excitement of the students, but that mainly occurred at Cedar's first fight. The dean was fighting to keep her composure as she watched the older twin take on his opponents, wanting to cheer with every hit he made and especially when he won. Through the night she glanced over at Celous to see his reactions through the night, when his boys, twins and students, won their matches, he would clench a fist in victory and sometimes make a remark to the coach of the school that had lost. There were even times when one of his boys was losing that he could call out instructions, though whether the fighters could hear him was another thing. It was Moonrise U that had won the most student matches and Nicole couldn't have been prouder. The students were bloody from the fights, but they cheered and celebrated like tonight was their last. Coach Bracken, and the two other coaches from the other schools reentered the center of the ring, raising their hands to calm the students once again, Celous remained by the tractor, "Alright, now's the time you've all been waiting for!" Bracken called out with a smile upon his face, "Time for the fight between us coaches! Like last year, Coach Gable and Coach Mudd will fight and the winner will face me: the reigning champion for the last two years!" Nicole frowned at the coach's boasting, without even hesitating she moved from where she had been standing to meet the coaches in the ring. When eyes began to find her, everyone quieted down. "Ms. North!" Coach Bracken let out in surprise when he finally spotted her, "To...to what do we owe the pleasure?" she watched his eyes glance back at the two coaches beside him before he turned back toward Celous. Coach Skye hadn't moved from his spot, but their was a deep breath in his chest when he spotted Nicole. "It's gonna stop, Coach Bracken." Nicole replied surely, placing her hands on her hips, she gave nothing away in her expression as she looked back at the coach. Coach Bracken glanced over at bloody students, Nicole could see his worries in his eyes, "Ms. North, I assure you, everyone is here voluntarily, no one is forced to participate. We have medical teams standing by should anything go wrong." "And police officers that allow this to happen." The dean added, her eyes glancing over at the two she spotted in the crowd. "Ma'am--" Nicole silenced him with a raise of her hand, she turned her eyes to Celous and signaled him to come over with the simple pull of her finger. She could see the old fighter take a deep breath as he pulled off the tractor and start her way. No one in the crowd said anything as they watched the instructors within the ring, the coaches and Nicole talking to softly for them to hear. "Ms. North, there is no reason for you to be here, everything is under control." Celous said calmly as he stepped up. "There actually is a reason I need to be here." Nicole replied to him, she looked him right in the eye. "Ma'am, Celous hasn't been in a single fight, since you told him he couldn't." Coach Bracken said quickly, "He's stayed on the bench like he was told." "He didn't even fight, when we tried to provoke him." Coach Mudd admitted with a glance at the others. "Its under my understanding that you've won the past two years, Coach Bracken?" Nicole asked calmly, looking back at the coach, she gained a raised eyebrow from Celous. "Yes ma'am." Coach Bracken nodded again. "And I'm to understand that Coach Mudd and Coach Gable are to fight each other before fighting you?" She asked nodding to the two other coaches. Coach Bracken nodded once more, "Yes, ma'am." he repeated. Nicole crossed her arms, "That doesn't seem quite fair to me." She stated calmly, looking right at him, "They have to fight each other then the victor has to fight as fresh you?" "Well ma'am, that's the only way to do it." The coach replied slowly. "Well it ends tonight." Nicole stated, "Your little reign ends tonight." While Coaches Bracken, Gable, and Mudd stared at her in confusion, in the corner of her eyes she caught a smirk widen on Celous' face, he seemed to look away in humored disbelief before cracking his knuckles. "I'm sorry, ma'am?" Coach Bracken said slowly, not catching Celous' reaction. "Face your opponent, Coach Bracken." Nicole stated sharply, "And let the match begin." "What?" The coach replied in confusion, but Nicole's reply was to back away from him. Coach Mudd and Coach Gable finally caught on to what she meant. "She means me, Sam." Celous stated suddenly, when Coach Bracken turned to the old fighter his face was met with Celous' right cross. The whole crowd let out a loud "Oooh!" when it happened, many of them turning their bewildered eyes to Ms. North, "I've been dying to do that for years." Celous stated as he shook out his fist, he took a fighter's stance and watched Coach Bracken. The crowd erupted with cheering as the fight officially began. Nicole stood back at the edge of the ring to watch, but ended up swarmed by Celous' students all thanking her for what she did and cheering even louder for their coach. Cedar ended up nudging her when the attention all turned to the fight, "I see you got my note." He shouted over the crowd. "Not a word about it, Cedar!" Nicole warned with a smile back to him. Cedar only laughed and with Ashton on her other side they cheered Celous on. Nicole found herself breaking out of her composed box and joining the students in the excitement. Celous fought like the pro he was against the other coaches that night, and Moonrise U won the old glove. It was definitely a night no one in Fight Club would forget: When Celous Skye was released from his leash and knocked out the boasting champion Sam Bracken, claiming the bragging rights of best fighter coach for the year.

"This doesn't hurt?" Nicole asked as she dabbed a cotton ball with alcohol on it against the split wound on Celous' forehead. She was standing before him as he sat on the tailgate of his truck. They were still at back field, students were celebrating the win with a bonfire at the far end of the parking lot, while students of the other schools headed home. It took a while for Nicole to be able to get some time with the champion coach as many different people kept going up to him to congratulate him and thank her for letting him finally fight. While she waited on him, Nicole found a first aid kit to tend to the injuries Celous received in the fight. "When you've been fighting as long as I have, pain starts to feel like a wisp on the breeze." the old fighter admitted as he looked back at her, his eyes were still bright from the victory and a smile was toying his face, "Why did you come tonight?" Nicole gave a brief shrug and focused on dabbing his wound, "I guess I needed a break from the chaos at work." She said calmly, "And it was brought to my attention that Sam needed his big mouth shut for him." He betrayed a light chuckle, "Is that all it took to finally let me fight?" he asked, "You hearing that I've been the brunt of Sam Bracken's mocking?" Nicole didn't look at him as she threw the cotton ball into a plastic bag for trash before reaching for the bandages, "There might have been another factor." She admitted slowly. Celous was quiet for a long moment as she applied a small bandage to his forehead, "Well whatever the factor." He replied carefully, "I'm thankful for it." She smiled softly, "You should be very proud of those boys of yours." She stated, changing the subject, "I honestly didn't think Ashton was going to win that last one with that shot he took." "Ah, Ashton has a thick head." Celous replied, but he nodded to her, his eyes drifting off to the glow of the bonfire, where his boys, no doubt, were, "They both did me proud tonight." "Don't you worry about them?" Nicole asked, she paused and looked him in the eye, "Following in your footsteps like they are, aren't you afraid they'll get hurt?" Celous took a deep breath, "I can't tell them what to do with their lives." he sighed with a shake of his head, "They make their own choices and they've both chosen to be fighters like me. I can only make sure they're prepared. Why I do my best to help them get as good as can be, so that the fight might be over before they get seriously hurt." Nicole smiled softly, she could see in his eyes how he cared for those boys, and frankly, she was a bit jealous of it, "I bet their mother would be thrilled." Celous took another deep breath and leaned back, away from her. By his reaction, Nicole feared that she had said something wrong, "I'm sorry." She said quickly. Celous shook his head, "It's ok, Nicole." He said calmly, his eyes turning back toward the firelight, "Fleta is probably screaming at me from the grave for letting those two fight." Nicole moved to sit on the tailgate beside him, "Fleta?" she repeated, "Was that her name?" He glanced at her and she could see the reluctance in his eyes about the subject, "Yeah." He replied simply. "What was she like?" Nicole asked, when he looked away from her, she added, "I told you about Ronnie." Celous took another deep breath, "Fleta was sharp." He said, not meeting her eyes, "She was fast too, one of the fastest on our high school track team." "You met her in high school?" "I met her in middle school." Celous answered, "We started dating then too, but..." he trailed off with a sigh, rubbing his head with his hand. "But what?" Nicole asked carefully, "Celous what happened?" The old fighter sighed, "Fleta was never my wife." He admitted, still unable to meet her eyes. Nicole was taken aback by that, he had always told everyone that the twins' mother had been his wife, he even told the twins that, "What do you mean?" "I got her pregnant her junior year of high school." Celous replied with a shake of his head, "I was going to marry her as soon as she turned eighteen, but she had the boys." Celous rubbed his hand down his mouth, "And she died giving birth to them." "Celous, I'm so sorry...I didn't know-" "There was nothing you could've done, Nicole." Celous cut her off calmly, "When the boys were born, I took care of them. I turned my school wrestling career into my fighting career just so that I could put food in their stomachs. Thankfully her family didn't curse too much and they, along with my parents, looked after the boys while I was at fights." He turned his eyes off toward the bonfire glow, "Everything I did, everything I do, I do for my sons." "They couldn't ask for a better father." Nicole told him, looking him right in the eye. He gave her a thankful smile and patted her knee, "Did you drive yourself here?" "Are you asking if I need a ride?" Nicole asked with the tilt of her head. He raised an eyebrow at her, "Is there somewhere you want to go?" Nicole gave a slight shrug as she toyed a smile on her face, "I'll admit after watching those fights, I'm pretty hungry." "Then we better get you something to eat." Celous replied, he jumped off his tailgate and held out his hand to her, "I know the perfect place." Nicole smiled back at him, feeling her heart flutter from the look in his eyes, before taking his hand.
