hello all! welcome to my little plots place again. I've been craving some good ol' fashioned role playing. Probably because I just need more role playing in my life. I've come to realize recently how much it makes me happy. So if you think you'd be interested in role playing with me, let me quickly introduce myself. You can call me Rave, or Wolfie, or think of something else creative. I've done many of these things before, so this has been recycled.
I'll just say that I prefer to do 1x1s over private message. It's just for convenience and it works better for me, rather than having this page bookmarked, because I have a lot of bookmarks and I don't always look at them. But I always check the messages. ANYWAY, after that long winded spiel, I'd prefer PM, but if you'd rather here that's fine too.
Here are a few guidelines about myself in case you're interested in knowing my rp style.
little rp facts about rave~
-- I'm a night role player. I'm a night owl, so I am usually on until like 3 am in the summer to compensate for the fact that I'm not on as much during the day. The only time I'm on during the day would be early afternoon. But assume I'll be on at night.
-- I like to have background and side characters, not just the mains. I tend to have a couple characters, along with my main one, just to keep things interesting. I'd expect something similar.
-- I'd like to consider myself an "advanced" rper, although semi-advanced isn't a hardship for me, as long as the plot still moves and is interesting. I like to write longer posts, because I think it's fun, but it depends on muse. Definitely no one liners or one paragraph posts from me. And I tend to match whatever you give me, so I won't always throw out a huge post. Unless we're moving the rp along to something else.
-- when rping one on one, I typically like to do modern and realistic and not high fantasy. Simply because it is easier for me and I do a lot of high concept, fantasy group role plays, so I like to switch it up for one on ones.
-- I know have plots below, but if you want to modify it, that's fine. I'm flexible. I'm also open to duplicating, just ask and I'll let you know if I'm overwhelmed or not xD
and or duplicated. we can talk about it }
While passing through a small town, Muse A's car breaks down. On the run from a darker past, Muse A just wants to get their car fixed and move on. However, it'll be a while before the part will be in to fix their car. Stuck in the little town, unable to run anymore, Muse A gets a job as a cook for a local diner. Finally settling into a place, Muse A feels comfortable. Until they go on a hike in the forest that surrounds the town and witnesses a murder. Naturally, they tell the police about it, except when the police go to the riverside where Muse A witnessed the murder, there is no evidence of a crime. The only person that believes Muse A is a local; Muse B. They are former law enforcement and decide to work with Muse A to find evidence of the crime and the murderer. Except it's a little town and when things start going weird, all fingers are pointed to Muse A and their darker history. { based off the movie Angels Fall }
In a little town, there was no worse a feud than over delectable cakes and sweet pastries. Two family bakeries have been feuding so long they forget what exactly they're fighting over. Was it Gigi's lemon pound cake recipe, or Great Auntie's spice cookies? Either way, the families hate each other for 'stealing' each other's business and recipes. Muse A is part of one family, and they genuinely can't figure out why they hate the other family. In fact, they could care less about cake and pies and cream puffs. The baking gene has skipped them, and they don't have the heart to tell their family that they hate baking, or baking hates them. That is until they come home for the holidays and are given the task of whipping up a batch of their famous cookies. Unable to do it without the recipe [ which is kept under lock and key now that all the family knows it. ] or any idea of where to start, Muse A runs into Muse B, the head baker for the rival bakery. After knowing each other in high school, even if it was just a nod or two, Muse A desperately confides in Muse B about their conundrum. Muse B agrees to help Muse A, convincing themselves it is just to get the recipe. But as they start baking together, are they creating something other than cookies?

The Oak Manor is said to be haunted. Run down and far from it's usual grandeur, it has lay empty for two decades after the last owners reported eerie happenings within it. Muse A impulsively buys the place at ridiculously cheap cost in order to get out of the city and gain some peace of mind. They don't believe in ghosts, spirits, or anything like that. Muse A lives there for several weeks, cleaning it up in their spare time and enjoying the peace and quiet the secluded place affords. Until they meet Muse B, a local who had always loved the house and was instantly drawn to it and Muse A. Before long, some strange things begin to happen. Voices in empty rooms, footsteps where no one is. Muse B is incredibly superstitious and knows it is ghosts. Especially when they begin to have strange fever dreams involving the house and other faces they don't recognize. It isn't until flashbacks to memories they don't really have start do they begin to question what their connection to the Oak Manor, and Muse A is. It seems that a century old mystery is linking them together, and the spirit of Oak Manor won't rest until it is unearthed.
