Gorsetail is a gray-and-white tabby she-cat. She was a queen in WindClan and her kits were the ones missing in Dark River. She has been listed as both a female and a male. A male more commonly than female. Her mate is Beechfur of RiverClan.
Smokepaw is a dark gray tom in ShadowClan. He is not the same cat as Smokefoot. He fell off a cliff and died in Dawn, despite being in the allegiances in Starlight, Twilight, Sunset and Leafpool's Wish.

i love smokepaw he's my tiny son
the thing that hecks me up about smokepaw is that blackstar was helping him escape the camp when the twolegs were invading and he said something like 'dont worry i wont let you die' and then a couple chapters later he dies. whoops

I don't pay attention to WindClan and ShadowClan affairs.

Sedgewhisker was also called a guy in Dark River and Eclipse.

The worst one is probably Rowanstar. He was called a she-cat from Midnight through Sunset. That's the only reason why he became Tawnypelt's mate, because they felt so bad about always getting him wrong.

The bottom of the cliff was actually a teleport. When Smokepaw hit the bottom he was automatically transferred to ShadowClan's lake territory where he grew up and became Smokefoof.

Sedgewhisker was also called a guy in Dark River and Eclipse. It runs in the family. I bet you that Larkwing will be referred as a tom once in AVoS.

That's the only reason why he became Tawnypelt's mate, because they felt so bad about always getting him wrong. Gorsetail is worse. She has been referred as a tom more times than a she-cat. Plus, unlike Rowanstar, the books that she appears as a tom in are not right next to eachother. To justify those mistakes, I got Russetfur and Rowanclaw confused multiple times, and there was a tom named Gorsetail in WindClan a few books back. Plus, the names of Rowanclaw and Gorsetail are kind of gender neutral, though thay could be my skewed opinion trying not to be.
