It seems like since the announcement of wcf shutting down, the creation of wcrp, and this first week or two in the new WFF, this community has been more unified. Like, more people are reading and posting on other people's works, etc. instead of just sticking with one or two fics/threads that their best forum friend wrote or something. More of us seem to be... branching out, so to speak? I guess it could have been this way in the old WFF too and maybe I just didn't notice it, but it just seems like that more so here already than it was there.
I know school is/will be starting up for many of us in the near future, but despite that, I hope this place stays this way. <3 I know I'm going to try to read/post on lots of people's 'fics, and hopefully get my own new fic up within the next month or two.
Just a random observation. c'x carry on.

It's true. I've been slowly wandering away from the wff in the old forums (for places like art, cats and misc) and this place really grounded me and brought me back to reading and participating in other's fics again.
I also think it's due to the forum closing that brought many forumers back that have been gone.

I kinda drifted away from WFF and the fic I was writing at the end of last school year due to an extremely stressful end of the year school-wise and home-wise, but maybe now I'll be able to get back into things here. That's true as well. :3

I have and most likely will be teetering on the edge of joining WFF or just reading. The reasons for yes and no are tied, I need one good reason to pick one of the sides

If you just stick with reading, that's fine; any support is very much appreciated by us writers, I promise. if you decide to write stuff as well, then that's great too! You could always just read for now, and wait till you have planned out a fanfic/whatever writing you want to do enough to actually post it and delve into that aspect of WFF. ^^

But seriously, thanks! So I don't have to be an insane writer, just something once now and then?

@ Nate - xD alright.
Of course! owo WFF is just a community for readers and writers alike, in whatever form or fashion that may be: just readers, writers who might post writing like once a month, or writers who are on here all the time. It doesn't really matter. What matters is how we all support each other and get to know each other and experience each others' writing and perhaps share and improve our own. c: do whatever floats your boat.

i've noticed this too, both with myself and others! it's nice to see everyone coming together like this, and while school will probably slow activity, it's still really great to see, and i think it's going to last quite a while. c: I very much agree. I love it. I'd love to get to know everyone here better, and what better way to do that than have everyone chatting on everyone's threads together? cx Yeah, I'm sure school will put somewhat of a dent in the activity, but I know I'm going to try my best to stay active anyway. I do hope we can continue like this. ;u;
